Fong J Nasi Lemak started their business as a small food stall besides the road. After a few years of doing business, they opened their own shop which selling nasi lemak in Taman Desa Tebrau. They use self-service method for their customers to choose their favorite dishes. Therefore, they will prepare many different types of food everyday especially their fried chicken which is very popular among their customers.

The taste of their sambal chili  is a bit sweet and mix with some spiciness and saltiness taste. We love their sambal chili very much as it is very delicious if you eat their sambal together with the nasi lemak and fried chicken. Moreover, with the accurate control of temperature, their golden brown fried chicken is very crispy and the meat is very tender and juicy. The price for the nasi lemak above is RM9.00.

McDonald also introduce nasi lemak ayam McD in Malaysia. Their nasi lemak include a piece of fried chicken, egg, sambal chili and some lettuce. The price for a set of nasi lemak ayam Mcd is RM10.99. If you want to add-on a cup of drinks the price will be RM12.99. Their sambal chili come with a strong shrimp taste which is quite delicious but the fried chicken is a bit dry. The time for our food waiting is only two to three minutes which is very fast and convenient for people who are in a rush.

One of the culinary wonders of Malaysia, it’s no surprise that the beloved nasi lemak is the national dish of Malaysia. A popular dish traditionally consist of steamed coconut rice, sambal chili, anchovies, peanuts and boiled egg, many versions of this hearty meal can be found offering spectacular sides such as rendang, cockles, squid, and the ever-popular fried chicken. Restoran Serai Kampung is a nasi lemak shop that located at Taman Mount Austin and it is quite easy to find. Their nasi lemak comes with a piece of fried chicken, egg, sambal, cucumbers and fried peanuts. The fried chicken is super delicious and quite juicy.
