Last night I got trolled on twitter by what I thought was an willful ignorant/prosperity gospel/just world christian. It left me reeling: not quite “full blown panic attack” triggered but a lot of painful memories got released from the locked boxes I keep ‘em in and had to be herded like cats and shoved back down. It hurt a bit worse than last time this particular poison resurfaced because since then someone I really looked up to since childhood, with the same illness as me who was a devoted christ-like christian died under unclear circumstances and my brain has pretty much decided on denial as a coping strategy, I have tried to confront my feelings, even tried to write down some notes but then repeatedly realize i’ve been staring at nothing, thinking nothing for the past 35 minutes so I guess that’s just not happening yet. I might try and have a sit down with mum, i don’t know: I want to deal with things healthily and not be a ticking time bomb but brains don’t do what you want them to, you have to trick them, use ritual and therapy and yeah, get other people involved (uuugh).

Then this morning the person’s replies were clearly that of a bot and somehow knowing that it wasn’t an actual human (even though there are plenty of actual humans with those beliefs) takes out the sting, though i’m left with a dull ache and my head feels, for lack of a better word: murky like it’s all still there floating around waiting for anything to shake it up like silt.

So just FYI “christian” “ministries” that take money run bots and a bunch of people engage with them because they all speak the same jargon. Hardly surprising that MLM under the guise of religion would use bots. Hardly surprising that bots can pass as human when religious folk talk like bots.

In other bot news, i’ve been getting followed by accounts that have the exact same posts, it’s not obvious at first because they’re queued at different times but it’s the exact same aethestic type, music fandom, photography posts if you scroll down the timelines. It’s probably link farming for SEO purposes but report and block them anyway if you can. They tend to follow in pairs within 30 minutes of eachother so look at your tumblr emails to see if the timestamps are close by then open both and look for sameposts.
