Our new studio editorial, Nigh to Silence, was recently published in @fienfh magazine. Featuring the beautiful @iamaricia from @fordmodelsbrasil @duomodelmgmt and @mgm.models For the past few months I’ve been working on a number of new projects and invested more time into refining my photographic style. One project, being the photos you see above (part one of many more), was submitted to Fienfh Magazine Paris at the beginning of June and was given front, inside and back covers in print and digital. It’s an amazing feeling and reward for all the hard work myself and the teams have put in to creating new and captivating fashion imagery. Which also marks the new phase of my photographic business and growth plan. I am a particular fan of working with high contrast and silhouetted imagery, bridging the gap between androgyny and femininity, creating timeless and emotive imagery, portraying strength of character and unique beauty. The new logotype is here! With thanks to my mother @anna.mariageals for making this custom typeface with my business in mind. We explored many different ideas but ultimately it came down to a classic fashion aesthetic with high contrast lines. Inspiration was taken from a number of different sources including the Vogue, Zara and Lara Jade’s logotypes and typefaces. I asked Maria to do this as I felt that no typefaces via my website Design really represented my work and where I’m going with my photographic style. The custom logotype will not only benefit my website, but also media packs, call sheets, fashion films and videos... the list goes on. ‘Beyond Moonlight’ last post before we release the fashion film on Monday. Here we went for a classic look to break up the intensity of the slick back hair and subtle smokey eyes, now with a lot of volume and a dewy + glossy look.
