What kind of Art stuff can you do on a Thursday night? Well, I headed downtown to @artpace for the Artist Talk by none other than @getcreativesa 2022 Individual Artist Grant Recipient, the fabulous @sabrabooth6010 herself! Sabra's new work, Snow Shadows, which depicts the effects of Winter Storm Uri on San Antonio plant species is on display in the Main Space. Sabra is a fellow Artist, Instructor and Printmaker. And since birds of a feather flock together, I also had a chance to share some great conversation with some exceptional individuals that happened to be there: @krystalsizzle , the Interim Executive Director of the Department of Arts & Culture; Ernesto Ramirez, Cultural Center Supervisor of @thecarversa ; @proximityartmedia , curator of the Beautifully Black - Film Screenings and Art exhibit at @slabcinemaarthouse and @alethia_r_jones of. @saeas.art .
