OC-tober 2023! Day 1-Fave OC

Decided to draw from an OC-tober prompt list because any excuse to draw my goobers. And this is more in my wheelhouse anyway 😂

Day one is your fave OC and...and I just can't not pick this guy. My obnoxious King Of Thieves!

OC-tober Day 4! Redesign!

I know I'm 4 days behind, I know I can skip some, but I don't want to because I actually had an idea for this day and wanted to do it.

Anyway. My entry for this day: Lyra!

Being one of my older characters, she's gone through a few re-designs. Originally she just had pointy ears and long black hair. Bit of a stubborn airhead (top right). Then I did a redesign and she turned into a bounty hunter pirate of sorts. Still retained the pointy ears, but they got a bit longer and I gave her a short cut (top left).

Last re-design was an actual broken and from the ground up type of re-design. Gave her antlers, gave her ears that can flex and wiggle and move, gave her wings, and...a somewhat more complex development (a lot of which has been helped out by the Writeblr Hunger Games and the Writeblr Battle Roayle, lol)

At any rate, here's all three versions of my alien elf high-born!

Oc-tober Day 3 - Old OC

So...paired with the 'new OC' I was fairly sure this meant an OC that you have had for a long time/one that was from a long time ago...and not age, lol. At any rate.

Molly! She was an OC halfway between the starting point and where I am now. She had earth powers and was in a group with a lightening-wielder, a telekinetic, and a charmer (as in had magic that literally charmed people). All young teenagers, all tragic backstories, all outcasts in some way. She was the life of the party and just with a bouncy personality. For some reason she always wore huge gloves and huge boots.

From the Sketchbook

Worldbuilding Idea: Flowers that grow in a cave wall and gather minerals as they go until they bloom and detatch, launching themselves into the air and scattering across the land. Eventually they land and the stone in the middle is all that's left. If left alone the stone will crack under the conditions of where the flower lands and the seeds are dispersed. That or there's some stone-eating creature that is a cave-dweller. One or the other 😂

Was working on some worldbuilding where jellyfish-type creatures fly through the air. Probably should have added some sky in the background to give the actual idea 😂
