Friday Ginreview - Save the Queen Gin 🐝 . Save the Queen Gin comes from Belgium, the raw honey comes straight from the beehives of the local urban beekeeper community. Crafted in small batches at distillery De Moor, Belgium. . Botanicals: Juniper - Coriander seed - Lemon peel - Cinnamon - Angelica root - Orris root - Ginger root - Cardamom - Liquorice - Rosemary - Grains of paradise - Cubeb pepper - Nutmeg - Lavender blossom . Save the Queen have 46% AVB . Nose: Juniper and honey notes. . Palate: Honey comes rich and warm in taste with juniper also well present. Taste have of course sweet notes but maybe not too sweet. Gin have good amount of AVB so honeylicious cocktails made of it will be interesting ones. For me I would prefer to use it in gintonics to get summer dreams in mind and enjoy the work what bee’s have done when collecting honey. In my childhood we had many bee houses and mother made big jars of honey in home and yes I eated LOT of honey when I was child. We have still all equipments, even the old big honey extractor..🍯 Fall is now here so remember to enjoy Save the Queen hot toddy!
