“Bobby and I are very close, we’re very good friends and you know the great thing about being good friends is that you feel really comfortable with one another and even before “Golden Queen” or “Mr.Gold and the Queen” sort of had this....whatever they had *laughs* Bobby and I always talked about how great it is to work opposite one another and being good friends and how when you feel really comfortable with someone you can go anywhere. You know, if you get an impulse to grab them or shake them he’s not gonna go “*Does she not like me? What’s wrong with her?*”
There’s a lot of trust between us so given that there was a lot of trust and respect, it was fine, it went very well but it also was nerveracking, you know...Like anyone, I got nervous. “I have to kiss Bobby!” But you know, we’re friends and in those moments anyway, when you have to kiss someone it’s always weird because you have like forty people in the room, watching and then in the middle of the kiss they’re like “Oh wait, cut. Go back and can you just...” and you’re like “Okay” and then “Sorry there’s some lipstick on your face, oh god. *pretends to smudge it off* Can I get some gum?” There’s always...it’s not ever what you think. It’s you know, awkward. And it’s very public. So it’s not as intimate as it reads on camera. But we work really well together so it’s pretty easy for us”
