Good morning it's raining like hell atm, I need to pee and I am hungry but under the current free shower I'm not gonna leave the tent to turn on the camping cooker x'D

According to the forecast it's supposed to get sunny after this shower, but the slightly dried mud is getting thoroughly soaked atm :(

Anyway, Hammerfall, Kreator and Helloween for me today. 😎🤘

(If I don't schlander back to the tent earlier because I don't wanna hike thru the mud in complete darkness.)

This is a love letter for all the people that accompanied me in this last decade, even those I lost, even if our friendship got lost, you taught me so many things in a brand new world, and I wish I could forever stay this young, so I can see how far we’ve come. In 2 Tagen nach Meran!

Ziemlich genau in Prutz am Sauerbrunn (https://www.prutz.tirol.gv.at/Sauerbrunn_Quelle) sprang mein Tacho auf 16000 Kilometer um. Da ich sowieso halten musste dachte ich mir ich probier das sehr gesunde saure Wasser. Vom Geschmack her würde ich sagen das ist Batteriesäure. Aber naja hat ja bekanntlich jeder einen anderen Geschmack...

Kaum war ich auf dem Radweg hinter Pfunds unter der Kajetansbrücke durchgefahren musste ich auch sofort halten. Mehrere umgestürzte Bäume blockierten den Radweg.  Dort gab es am Abend vorher sehr starker Unwetter. Darauf hin wurde der komplette Reschenpass gesperrt. Die Sperre wurde nach den Aufräumungsarbeiten um 23 Uhr wieder frei gegeben. Zum Glück da ich sonst erstmal fest gesessen wäre. Bin daher auf die Straße ausgewichen. Der Radweg war im weiteren Verlauf mehrmals unpassierbar. 

Nach dem Reschensee geht es durchs Vinschgau ja so gesehen nur noch bergab bis Meran. Theoretisch... Richtig bergab geht es erst ab ca. Burgeis vorher sind noch einige Auf- Abfahrten nötig.

Das ich allerdings wirklich in 2 Tagen bis Meran komme habe ich nicht vorher nicht geglaubt. Es war zwar im Vorfeld so geplant worden, aber ich habe gezweifelt ob ich es wirklich schaffe. Sind ja immerhin doch 335,66km und 2997 Höhenmeter an 2 Tagen.

In Meran gabs nach der Dusche im Hotel erstmal Salat, Pizza und danach natürlich wie es sich für Italien gehört ein Eis.

Der neue Tacho hat sich übrigens jetzt schon mehrfach bewährt. Es ist viel entspannter zu fahren. Wenn man sich mal nicht sicher ist wirft man einen Blick aufs Display und sieht sofort ob man noch in der richtigen Richtung ist. Auch bei gesperrten Straßen wenn man abweichend vom gespeicherten Track fährt wird immer die Richtung parallel verlaufend des Tracks angezeigt. Das lästige am Handy nach der Strecke schauen entfällt somit komplett. Zumal zeichnet der Tacho die gefahrene Strecke auch noch mit auf.

Das Wetter war heute sehr chaotisch. Nach dem Frühstück ergab der Wetter Check Regen. Minuten später draußen dann kein Regen. Trotzdem die Regenkleidung anbehalten. Es hatte nämlich nur nasskalte 15°C Nach Landeck ging's los. Erst leicht dann sehr stark. 10 Kilometer im strömenden Regen. Dann bewölkt.

Den Reschenpass hoch sonnig. Oben bis Alt Graun leicht bewölkt dann sehr stürmisch und einzelne Tropfen. Ab der Abfahrt Reschen war es bis Meran sehr sehr stürmisch aber meist sonnig. Teilweise lagen schon viele kleine Äste usw. auf der Straße.

Morgen geht es weiter Richtung Gardasee (Torbole). Die ca. 130 Kilometer sehe ich nicht so schlimm da es eher leicht bergab geht.

A residential complex in an old castle garden in South Tyrol

The construction site is located in the core area of Schlanders, in Italy, where stately homes and farmhouses stay side by side, while modern buildings have filled up the open spaces in between. The architectural duo Stephan Marx and Elke Ladurner were commissioned with the planning of a residential complex of the same name in the old castle garden. This extended from the Schlandersburg Castle to the Stainer Residence. In 1977 a pension was already built here. The castle garden is surrounded by a wall, which is subject to the ensemble protection, as well as the building belt around the plot to be built.

The historic buildings are arranged along the road and create a narrow alleyway. In order to give the building mass a corresponding scale, it was divided into two buildings, which are based on a basement floor. The new structures are deliberately positioned in such a way that they do not result in competition on the one hand with the roadside building mass of the surrounding area, and on the other with the enclosure.

The proximity of the two new buildings creates a similar tension to the surrounding streets. The polygonal ground plan shape is also transferred to the facade and rejuvenates the building mass to the top. This reduces the massiveness. The lowering of the main building units to the north is based on the inventory quota and the building to the south is lowered to the original level of the castle garden.

To preserve the cubic effect of the volume, the patio areas were cut out of the volume. The different rotation of the building reinforced by the polygonal floor plan suggests a playful arrangement on the open space of the old castle garden. This results in interesting intermediate and outdoor spaces. To underline the homogeneity of the building, the architects decided on a uniform façade material. The choice fell on a slightly colored concrete, which communicates with the glass elements of the parapets and the dark window profiles. This takes back the new structure. The sloping parapets in concrete provide sheltered outdoor areas for each apartment.
