Had the chance to swing by and check out their shop yesterday. I was surprised by the level of service and knowledge of the whole staff. I know tri is an expensive sport and often makes you sacrifice some serious money in order to shave off seconds from your time, but I couldn't find a bike in this place that was under $5000! I was really looking forward to a range of bikes, but found myself staring at price tags that caused me to cringe. I might need to skip the full tri bike for a while a start pricing out some solid road bikes. I will go back to Tri Shop in Plano someday, just not for a bike.

#queenstage 👑 of our #eatsleepriderepeat weekend with @bastl_adventuresome and Thomas on Sunday. Late start in our apt. in #zuoz around 1pm, after snowfall in the morning. Short discussion which tour would be suitable in this conditions, especially if the weather in the other valley is good, too. And if you are in the other valley, you have to go back again ... 🤪 Warm-up to #sanktmoritz more or less flat, fast espresso and headed further with a lighter wallet to #silvaplanalake were the climb to #julierpass starts. The climb on this side is not difficult with less than 500 m climbing from 1.800 m to 2.284 m. Above 2.000 m the landscape is getting wild with a lot of snow besides the grey street tape and grey mountains around. 🤩 From the top a 37 km long descent down to #tiefencastel located on 850 m is starting. Again with stunning views. Further challenge is currently that you are most of the time wrongly dressed. For climbing you are dressed with too much stuff, for descending with too less.
