Here we have a westbound Union Pacific freight rolling through Gothenburg, Nebraska. This is on the original route of the transcontinental railroad.

MJRX 1021 is ready to work grain cars when needed; it was built as an SD24 for the Southern Railway in January of 1960. It was subsequently rebuilt in Paducah by the Illinois Central Gulf.
