Moonlight rewatch part 3 of 16
Season 1 episode 3 Dr. Feelgood
I think it’s interesting Beth trusted Mick enough that even though she showed up at his house and saw him all vamped out with blood dripping down his face, she still felt safe enough to go to his house and ask him questions about vampires and wasn’t afraid he’d hurt her
Mick “I’ll love you forever” I don’t think being turned into a vampire was what Mick had in mind Coraline
Beth being in reporter mode asking Mick all kinds of questions and Mick being afraid to trust people
How scary would it be to be turned into a vampire and not even know what happened to you and what’s going on with your body
“Off the record” sure Beth sure
Mick is such an old man “you’re like a twelve year old girl with all the texting” and then grumbles under his breath “texting”
Beth trying to look at the dead body and Mick blocking her view is funny to me, I don’t know why. Something about it is a little bit playful not like flirty playful but more like friendly none of your business type of playful
Mick “there’s not like a big club house where we all hang out” *SpongeBob narrator voice* a few episodes later…episode 12 Mick visits Josef at some club where vampires go to hang out and play billiards.
Carl’s stress levels rises every time Beth shows up at his crimes scenes, he always looks so done
Mick being distrustful of Beth and her telling Mick he can trust her
All of MickBeths interactions
Can you fly ? Just like Superman. *excitedly* Really? *laughing* no
Mick all annoyed “and wait in the car means?” Beth all sassy responds “oh cause that worked so well the last time”
I like that a wooden stake doesn’t kill vampires in this universe. I also like that they can go into the sun, and don’t need an invite into your home and holy water doesn’t affect them. It makes them more deadly than their other vampire counterparts.
Pollock our rouge vampire (Dr.Feelgood) probably would’ve been just as bad even if his sire didn’t abandon him. I just get the vibe that he was not that great of a person before the transformation.
Unlike with shows like Angel/Buffy where they lose their soul the vampires in this show retain much of their former selves and are basically the same as when they were human. Only difference is that they are undead now. I mean they probably change in the same way anyone changes over time but they aren’t like a soulless demon.
Josef’s sass and snark strikes again
Mick being broody sad boy even when the day is saved. Yes it’s sad four people died for no reason but at the end of the day Pollock was stoped before hurting anyone else
I love Moonlights music choices, I’m pretty sure I have every song that played in the series
I give this episode 8.7 out of 10 wooden stakes, I like the lore of the vampires and that it’s different from other adaptations of them and that it’s doing it’s own thing

Harley Quinn Season 3 Confirmed for HBO Max
https://ift.tt/eA8V8J
When Harley Quinn finished up Season 2 on DC Universe, the story was wrapped up in quite a nice little bow, and though it could have been quite a fitting end for Harley’s surprisingly phenomenal animated adventures, we cried out for more. Along with being downright hilarious, the first two seasons pushed limits and explored the villainous side of DC like never before. So, in the spirit of one Dr. Harleen Frances Quinzel: why should we settle?
Luckily, we won’t have to. Confirmed as part of DC Universe’s re-brand to a more comics focused DC Universe Infinite, Harley Quinn is definitely happening over at HBO Max, which means more Harley, more Ivy …and more ‘Harley and Ivy’ in our future. Superb.
The critically acclaimed animated show was created for DC Universe by Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker, and Dean Lorey, and features the vocal stylings of an enviable cast, including Kaley Cuoco, Lake Bell, Alan Tudyk, Tony Hale, Ron Funches, Jason Alexander and J.B. Smoove.
Harley Quinn Season 1 caught up with The Cupid of Crime after a rough breakup with the Joker. Teaming with a new crew of bad guys consisting of Poison Ivy, Clayface, Doctor Psycho, King Shark, and Sy Borgman, she attempted to join the Legion of Doom at all costs – including any good vibes with her newfound friends.
In Season 2, Harley had fewer Joker problems, but with Gotham in ruins and Batman M.I.A., Harley ended up fighting an uphill battle to stay relevant, especially with Doctor Psycho on the rampage. We also got to see Harley’s relationship with Ivy blossom, resulting in one of the most feelgood moments on TV in recent years in the final episode of Season 2.
Co-creator Justin Halpern previously revealed that the team were thinking about Harley Quinn Season 3 while they were writing that Season 2 finale.
“For us, we wanted to make sure that the characters were in a mentally healthy… it sounds crazy, because it’s a silly cartoon where we do lots of sh*t,” he explained to Syfy Wire. “But we wanted to make sure the characters were in a mentally healthy place where we could do a Season 3 and not have to make it about, ‘Are they going to break up? Are they not going to break up?’ and just have them be together.”
Yes, rest easy, Harley Quinn fans, Harlivy is here to stay in Season 3.
“We’re not going to walk it back,” Schumacker confirmed. “They’re a couple. Any stakes that we want to build into the season moving forward are not going to involve [the question of] ‘Will they be able to stay in a relationship?’ They’re going to be a couple.”
We’ll keep you posted on everything Harley Quinn Season 3!

Moonlight rewatch for millionth time
Episode 3 random thoughts and feelings I had while rewatching again: cause I’m bored and have nothing else to do or watch. And I love this show
I like how Beth saw Mick all vamped out and he revealed that he was a vampire and still felt safe and comfortable enough to go back to his house without backup or protection
I feel like that was a very very deliberate decision to hit professor Gerald Stovsky, like that car did not slow down or divert to avoid hitting him nor did they stop after they did. They just kept going.
I like how grumpy Mick mumbles texting, also I want to know what Guillermo was texting Mick.
There’s not like a big club house where we all hang out… I beg to differ
I wonder how the cleaner and Mick know each other if he’s never needed her services. Because she knows his full name and is surprised to see him and even comments that she didn’t think he’d need a clean up which would indicate she knows him on a slightly more personal level than just word of mouth.
She also trusts Mick with the name of the vampire who called her and that would at least indicate they have some sort of good rapport with each other. Because at least to me it seems as if she knows Mick won’t rat her out and will help her with the vampire causing trouble.
Also in a later episode she flits with him and tells he can call her anytime he wants and the final episode it appears she at least respects and trust his opinion enough to let Emma and Jackson have a chance to talk and say good bye simply because he asked
I wonder what Gerald meant by other vampires find him strange. Does he smell funny or different than most vampires? Is he just a weirdo or something in the vampire community? Like how Logan is considered a slob?
It’s annoying we never get Mick’s exact birthday other than November 1922 but at least we get an idea of his birthday. We have no idea about Beth’s birthday other than a year and same thing for Josef. I know it’s not that important for the plot but I need to know for astrology reasons.
So was Gerald going to kill his little vampire fledgling or what? Like why did he bring a wooden stake to the house ? Also I wonder if Gerald had a similar issue to turning people that Josef did with Sarah because he said he’s never been able to turn anybody before.
Gerald is definitely dead so why wasn’t his name crossed off that list Talbot gets
More on Stovsky’s smell, his little fledgling doesn’t seem to recognize him as a vampire by scent because he never mentions it to him but when Dr. Pollock encounters Mick he makes a comment on it. So is that why Gerald is so unpopular with other vampires?
Can vampires drink alcohol? I mean they must be able to to a certain extent because Mick and Josef do drink alcohol throughout the series
Unimportant but how does Mick sleep with all those lights? I have to sleep in the pitch black, like even a dim light irritates me and keeps me awake all night
It’s sad that in like the 50 some odd years of Mick being a vampire he’s only had one human he’s felt safe and comfortable enough to tell them the truth about what he is.
