My Own Top 10 Posts of 2021

As another year winds down on spnblr, here are my favorite ten posts I made this year bc the tumblr year in review one is Wrong (I post way too much)

10. Secrets collage

This was the year of trying new things visually, and I was especially proud of this one. I think it came out really well and delivers what I wanted it to deliver.

9. Joan of Arc

This one was just fun to make + the context on multiple levels was a good time.

8. On Sam’s Mindscapes

I really liked this one because I got to think about Sam’s internal-ness which is one of the traits I like most about him.

7. The birthdays series

I started this series in 2019 with Hemoglobin and I’ve been consistently posting fic on Sam’s birthday ever since. This year I added dean and Jack, and I’m happy to say this is all a connected verse that I’ve plotted out over a good chunk of time and will be my post series take.

6. What dropped supernatural plot line are you uquiz

This is my second uquiz and I thought it was better than the first, both in content and in results.

5. Demon blood: a comprehensive analysis

This is special to me bc it’s the culmination of thoughts I’ve had abt demon blood pretty much ever since I started watching the show (in 2022, that’ll be 10 years)

I love talking about why Sam is theee character of all time, and this is one of the reasons why

This one is special because it’s a series of posts in various mediums (videos, meta, posts) discussing the experience of s9 from Sam’s pov

2. Ultimate Supernatural Survey

This represented a LOT of work with a lot of participation from other people online :) I loved seeing people’s thoughts and reading their various experiences!

1. Distorted Light Beam Sam AMV

This is an idea that’s lived in my head for a very long time: not necessarily this specific concept, but the idea of putting an amv to a song I really liked. I finally achieved that this year and I was so happy with the results :)
