#74: Secrapose- Evolves from Crubust when exposed to a sun stone during the day. This bird Pokémon cannot fly, despite having feathers. Instead, these feathers seem to exist to more efficiently soak up heat from the sun. This Pokémon’s long legs are extremely strong, able to drive away whole packs of Mightyena and allowing Secrapose to run up to 95 MpH. Secrapose can heat up its head crest to incredibly hot temperatures and set it ablaze to intimidate foes and rivals. Secrapose pairs mate for life, raising their Crubust chicks in the same nest on the ground for years. At night, Secrapose is vulnerable and its fire powers are weaker. The ancient Sakewian peoples considered this Pokémon to be messengers sent by their sun god. Owning a Secrapose was a reserved for royalty and religious figures, and harming one was taboo.
