Our next stop on our day of art in Austin was the @blantonmuseum on the campus of @utaustintx - first to the this exquisite Ellsworth Kelly exhibit in its own building. Reminiscent of a church, it’s a secular celebration of color and light, and the shifting light of the day and seasons. There were panels of color block black and white, representing the stations of the cross, and the 18 foot wooden monolith (the “altar”) was carved from a single piece of wood.
