It had been a daunting task, yet Stiles had literally searched through hours and hours of web pages and police reports. Nearly forty-eight hours without sleep was beginning to tax on him, dark circles had begun to form beneath his eyes. Energy drinks littered his bedroom, the printer had needed some new ink at some point during all of his research. Luckily for Stiles, he’d always had a backup for such an occasion. Never did he think he’d be helping the evil doppelganger, knowing she was manipulative, spiteful and could quite literally break his spine in two within the blink of an eye. That last worry very real as his Jeep trudged onward through the quaint town of Mystic Falls, parking outside the mansion where Katherine Pierce had decided to reside, for now. There was only one reason Stiles was helping her and that was because she’d promised that she’d leave his friends alone, specifically Elena and Caroline. The latter more on the front of his mind because Katherine had already buried the blonde alive in the cemetery just for fun. Sighing heavily, he took a long hard stare at the residence, knowing Katherine had probably killed and discarded the actual tenants who had lived there. Mieczyslaw wouldn’t have put it past her. Reaching for the folder of files he’d collected, he hopped out of Roscoe and headed for the front door. Normally, Stiles would’ve knocked, would’ve been polite. However, it was Katherine, he didn’t need to pretend to care and instead, strolled inside on his own accord. Finding the woman in the lavish living room, vast windows pried open to admire the surrounding trees and lush view outside the home, sunlight spilled across her form where she sat. “I’ve found him. I’ve found Klaus.” Stiles tossed the folder onto the coffee table with a flick of his wrist, allowing her the information she’d so desperately sought. “It wasn’t easy and I’m pretty certain that my lack of sleep has made me somewhat delirious, but the same patterns are there. And, I’m pretty sure his next stop is Mystic Falls.” The brunette had tracked the bloody crime scenes, bodies ripped apart limb by limb. He’d made sure the photos in each scene matched the exact same pattern between cases. “And yeah, Stefan’s still out there with him. Ripper and all, having a fricken party, I’m assuming.” The Salvatore had gone on another binge, befriending the Original in the process before scattering bodies up and down the coast.

“You do realize this is my bedroom, don’t you?” It wasn’t the first time Stefan caught Katherine going through his things. Well, his diaries. Zipping across the room in the blink of an eye, he snapped the leather bound book shut with a gentle push of his fingers to the cover of it. Peering down at the other vampire, the younger Salvatore clenched his jaw gently. “And those are my diaries. For my safekeeping.” It was almost in a scolding tone of voice as his emerald orbs swam down to the doppelganger’s features, trying to decipher why she was even here to begin with.

Derek has no idea what she is even referring to. Were they playing some sort of game that he wasn’t informed of? Was she speaking of her body? She was attractive but he didn’t feel like she was the level of game changing. There were always other women, more fish in the sea, he had met plenty who had less of an attitude and better looks. An eyebrow raised for a moment as he considered what to say to her. “And I’m a werewolf. I’m not sure what you’re trying to say here but I don’t think we need titles or anything.”

Still as captivating as she’d always been, even when she was trying to pummel him into the floor, sparring or otherwise.

“Any reason you smell that way?” No use hiding that he wasn’t human... she clearly wasn’t, either. Not that he had any idea what she was. Vampires weren’t something he knew to exist, after all. Not that it would surprise him that they did.

While he wasn’t exactly stoked that he’d been paired with Katherine to try and find Stefan’s whereabouts, he hadn’t been counting on this. The woman was splayed across the couch, dawning a Santa outfit of some sorts. However, it left  little to the imagination, causing Stiles to tear his gaze sheepishly. “You know, I didn’t think this was what you needed me to come over for when I read your text.” 

Shutting his eyes, he could hear her approaching him, her dripping voice flirtatious in every way. Fuck, why did she have to be so good at this? Why did she have to be so sensual and thrive on seeing him get flustered? It wasn’t the first time Katherine had advanced on him, nor would it be the last, he was certain. “Are you trying to corrupt me?” Swallowing thickly as her hand pressed against his chest, he finally pried his eyes open, admiring the view all the same.

“‘Cause… it’s oddly sort of working.” Pressing his lips thinly, Stiles huffed a breath when her hand slipped under the hem of his shirt, exploring his lower abdomen. “Okay, it’s really working.” Never in his life did he think he’d see the day that Katherine Pierce would dress up for him like she had. Nor did he think he’d see the day where he’d be putty in her hands.

I just looked for the nicest house on this block, saw the dead guy on the patio and thought ‘Well, Katherine must be there’.” The woman had a particular taste, much like Jackson had. They both loved living lavishly, fine wine and money in their pockets. “Did you really think you could hide from me? You have to do a much better job. I’m no Stilinski, but I’m not stupid, either.” Jackson mused, brushing by the vampire and taking a plop on the leather couch occupying the room, vast windows peering out at the mountains behind the town. Picking up the already open bottle of wine, Jackson poured himself a drink, without waiting for the woman to speak. “You don’t mind if I join you, right? It’s been a long day and I need to unwind.” He shot her a wide smirk, the rim of the glass approaching his lips slowly.

It took every ounce of patience that Jackson possessed (and these days, that wasn’t a whole lot) to keep him from snapping on Katherine. In his defense, she deserved every bit of animosity he had to give her. No matter how infuriated he was at her, her lips on his skin still affected him in ways he wished it didn’t. If he let her keep going, pretty soon there would be no hiding that. Jackson knew damn well that lust and wrath were a deadly combination. 

He jerks his head away from her lips, his glare steely.

 ❝You stay away from me, do you hear me?❞ He seethes, brows raising high, ❝Stay. The fuck. Away from me. Because guess what? Whatever this—❞  He gestures between them, ❝Was. Is. Whatever. It’s done. We’re through. And if you come near me again, you’ll regret it, you got that? I’m not playing your sick little games anymore, so find someone else to be your little pet.❞
