TFA Sentinel x Wreck Gar

TWs/Content- rarepair, bulkbee if you squint, sentinel is ooc, first time meeting

“Oh you’re shiny!” Wreck Gar rushes up to meet Sentinel at the door of the makeshift base. He holds his servo out for Sentinel, a human custom in which the prime is not familiar with. “I am Wreck Gar! I like shiny things.”

Optimus tries his best not to flinch, worried that Wreck Gar’s behavior would be seen as unprofessional or unsightly by Sentinel, but to his surprise, the elite guard hesitantly takes Wreck Gar’s servo.

“Thank you?” The junkion smiles at the response, shaking Sentinel’s servo. “I’m Elite Guard member Sentinel Prime, here to-”

“You should talk to Optimus, he’s a prime too!” Wreck Gar finally lets go of the blue bot’s servo.

“Sentinel,” Optimus greets, “it’s nice to see you again.”

Wreck Gar walks off to watch TV with Bumblebee and Bulkhead, letting himself steal little glances at the new bot. He half leans half stands against the back of the ‘sofa’ in between the two autobots.

“I was sent to do a routine check. I’m assuming that you will require a supply increase…”

“Due to another member joining the team.” Optimus finishes for him. “And with that, we will need another autobot insignia.”

“That’s do-able.” Sentinel crosses his arms, shifting most of his weight onto one stabilizer. There are gold patterns on his arms, they’re very pretty, catching the lights from above and showing the contrast between his plating. “The ‘cons here, have you figured out where they are?”

Wreck Gar tunes out Optimus, unconsciously listening more when he hears Sentinel’s voice, but not really listening to the words he was saying. He’s snapped from his state of half listening and staring at blurry shapes on the television by a yellow bot poking at his chassis.

“Wreck Gar! Primus, are you even online?” Bumblebee teases, waving his servo fervently in front of Wreck Gar’s faceplates.

“Hmm?”

“Bee asked what you think of Sentinel.”

“Oh. I think he’s…” Wreck Gar looks at the primes again, admiring the gold and gray accents on his frame. “I like him.”

“‘Like’ in what way?” Bumblebee looks at him, confused. Bee privately comms Bulkhead, making the bigger bot snicker. :He has heart-optics for the sarge:

“There are different ways?”

“Of course there are different ways!”
