ohhhh full disclosure i'm torn on this one- i think the answer is yes, that SINCORP exists in some kind of afterlife/magical-adjacent plane of existence. Workers who attempt upward mobility are aware of the corruption process- as upward mobility at SINCORP translates pretty directly to power- but few reach or even aspire to the heights of the executives

is there a reason for why her name is Spoils?

Once an employee being vetted has met the proper corruption requirements, upon being elevated to Executive of one of the seven major SINCORP departments they are given a new name. This is selected by the new executive to exemplify their new reign over the department.

Idk maybe once all Seven Executives are designed and named I’ll give an in depth lore post about why each one picked the name they did.
