“Proof Alvin and I were meant to be?”

How do you pronounce the episode Simsky and is there a reason behind the episode's title? The name gives me vibes of mid-2000s WWE wrestler Gene Snitsky who's known for a controversial miscarriage storyline, his "It wasn't My Fault!" catchphrase, and punting a baby doll into the crowd. Thankfully, WWE moved away from pushing the envelope in the late 2000's and nobody under the age of 20 has no recollection of them.
“There actually is a reason behind it! It’s pronounced Sim like in the Sims and ski not sky. It’s a spoof on the graffiti artist from the UK who called themselves Bansky. Their true identity remains unknown. Think of it like how Bart tags everything he vandalizes with El Barto. (I have been watching too much Simpsons with Alvin.)
“Also, I don’t know much about WWE wrestling but that just sounds like bad taste.”

A Stroll Along the Guadalquivir River - Sevilla, Spain
Tumblr media
Our last day in Sevilla, we thought a walk along the river promenade might be a bit cooler than the city streets. It was a brilliant idea, we had a great time just taking in the sights. Pictured above is the Puenta de la Barqueta - a very modern looking bridge.
Tumblr media
Plenty of graffiti artwork along the promenade - some of it is incredible!
Tumblr media
We crossed over the river and visited the historic Triana neighborhood. Lots of beautiful tiled buildings in this area:

It was a nice little detour, after a quick walk through the neighborhood we walked back across the river and continued our walk along the promenade.
Tumblr media
A view of the bridge over to Triana.
Tumblr media
A fun shot of the colorful Triana riverfront.
Tumblr media
Cool historic ship moored along the riverfront - it offered tours, but we opted not to do that.
Tumblr media
Torre del Oro - it was built betwee 1220-1221 to serve as a military watchtower. The "Tower of Gold" name is in reference to the tower's golden reflection in the river.
Tumblr media
Costurero de la Reina - this was our final destination on our walk today.....I thought it was a HUGE building, but it is just a "small building located in Seville, shaped like a castle". It is currently being used as the tourist information office. Legend has it that the queen spent hours sewing in this building, however, this couldn't be true - the queen died in 1878 and the building was built in 1893.
Tumblr media
River walk done, time for some ice-cold beverages and a bit of lunch - in the shade, of course!
It has been a wonderful, even though it was hot, stay in Sevilla. The cathedral was impressive, the buildings beautiful, and the accommodations awesome. We did miss out on one major tourist attraction in the city:
Tumblr media
Metropol Parasol - a very unique and modern structure. We did not spend any time here, but we did walk by it on our way from the train station. We are headed to Madrid in the morning, adios, from Sevilla!
