I finally made it to this one! I’ve been soo excited for this I even especially asked for permission to make it a request anyway :3

Kitten Dazai + Caretaker Odasaku

˖⁺‧₊˚ ♡ ˚₊‧⁺˖

₊ ⊹ Pet regression so I can’t really say an age range… So we’ll start off with pet names! Odasaku calls Dazai “Kitty” because I mean obviously. However he also uses nicknames like “Samu” or “Zai”! Dazai likes still being called by his name because. He’s a cat! Cats are called by their names all the time! Odasaku also uses “Sweetheart” a lot because. Just cause. Dazai doesn’t talk at all when he’s in his kitten headspace so no nicknames for Odasaku!

♥︎ Soo much bottle feeding! Like yes kitty cats drink out of bowls. But also extra tiny kitty cats get to just lay in their owners lap and be bottle fed! And that’s what Dazai wants! Odasaku warms up some milk and sits down with Dazai cradled in his lap, carefully holding the bottle for the little one and petting through Dazai’s hair telling him how good he’s doing! Dazai struggles with eating properly so of course he deserves all the praise when he does it!

₊ ⊹ When he’s not insisting on being bottle fed Dazai loves to eat crab! It’s his favorite food out of headspace, so obviously he loves it even more when he’s just a little kitty cat! He’ll get a cute little bowl, usually a pretty and dainty porcelain one to make him feel all fancy, then he just eats out of the bowl! Sometimes he lets Odasaku spoon feed him, but usually it’s just mouth straight to the bowl, just like a real kitty cat!

♥︎ The eepiest little kitty ever… Dazai loves to just curl up in Odasaku’s lap! Soooo much gentle affection… Odasaku brushing his hair, Dazai making biscuits against Odasaku, Dazai when he’s feeling playful biting Odasaku’s fingers… But also that doesn’t stay playful because Odasaku just sort of lets him. Then Dazai just starts teething using his caretakers fingers- Eventually they need to switch him out for a proper pacifier but Odasaku is such a cat person he absolutely just lets Dazai gnaw on his fingers

₊ ⊹ Dazai definitely has just like a huge cardboard box with some tiny pillows and blankets in it. As clingy as he is, when he gets overwhelmed he likes having some personal space! Just a big old cardboard box for the little guy. He likes laying in his box and having Odasaku pet him at the same time! It’s like the best of both worlds. Plus he can curl up with his cute little toys and be all cozy!

♥︎ I don’t think Dazai would like wearing ears, they create to much pressure on his head and he’s already living with near constant headaches. However… Odasaku takes care of a bunch of kids. Only one of them is a girl but I don’t care this man can style hair because I said so. WHICH MEANS. He can tie Dazai’s hair into cute little braids and secure it into cat ears! It’s usually pretty loose because Dazai hates the smell of hairspray (It’s the sensitive little kitty nose…) and he also hates straighteners because they’re burny and scary. So there’s nothing keeping the hair like stiff and secure but it’s still so cute!

₊ ⊹ So. Y’know how cats like. Play with yarn? And stuff? Ok… Imagine little kitty Dazai on his back on the floor all wrapped up in bandages! Like he found a roll on the floor and he just like batted at it a little bit. And it rolled so cool! So he kept doing it, trying different things… And next thing you know Odasaku finally comes to find him when he hears distressed little meows calling for help and he just sees Dazai completely tied up in these bandages on the floor… The cutest little kitten ever ahh!!

♥︎ So Odasaku’s a writer… I like to imagine little kitten Dazai sitting on his desk and just quietly watching him. And then the second Odasaku gets up for whatever reason Dazai just bats a stack of papers and sends them flying everywhere! Odasaku is definitely getting a little exasperated with this but never angry. But a lot of the time Dazai still hops down and scampers off when Odasaku comes in and sees the mess. He’ll go hide under the bed or in his box!

₊ ⊹ Ok hear me out on this one… Scented plushies! You know how like cats really like the scent of catnip? I think Dazai would like a comforting smell on his plushies to be like that! I feel like he’d really like a light vanilla scent? Maybe hints of cinnamon too though, he wants it to smell like Odasaku! Also definitely likes wearing Odasaku’s clothes and putting them in his little box nest

For my tiny KOYTLC following my dad bought me more E. L. Fudges today and we finally found Elwood! It was actually the first one I grabbed :0 And yeah. He has the smirk (Not the hair though)
