Second attack on art fight and this one seems to have turned out well but with much more room for improvement.
Has Mariza ever thought of being slain herself when she is wrecking a pirate ship? Who knows?
Dudes the character in this image is not mine. It belongs to @shandzii

Happy Birthday @shandzii !
Hi! Lately I’ve been super into fnaf again and got and lately have been thoroughly enjoying @shandzii ‘s animations and art for it! So, happy birthday! I hope you like this! :D
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Wait! Gab! I’m really, really sorry! Please don’t tell-!”
Samuel turned the corner, scissors still in hand, and froze at the sight. Gabriel was wailing into their papa’s pant leg. Papa’s eyes flickered over Gab and his now practically shaved off hair with panic, one hand settled on the crying twin’s shoulder and the other hovering over his head, before he glanced up and caught sight of Samuel.
Specifically the offending object still clasped in his hand.
Papa’s expression shifted from one of worry and concern to one of anger and disappointment at the sight of the eldest twin. Papa’s knuckles came to rest against his hips as he frowned at Samuel. The boy tensed under the glare.
“Oops.”
—————————————
Samuel was settled down on the couch with a grunt. A yellow eye stared sternly into his own. “Wanna spill about why you thought it was a good idea to cut your brother’s hair off?” Samuel stiffened and turned away, fiddling with the hem of his yellow zip up hoodie nervously.
“It-It was just supposed to be a funny prank! I didn’t think Gab would care that much!” Dad’s eye grew furious, and he opened his mouth. Sam gripped the fabric of his jacket in his fist tightly; expecting to be yelled at. Instead, dad stopped, inhaled deeply, and rubbed a hand down his face slowly.
“Christ. The hell do you mean you think your brother wouldn’t care? On top of the fact that you seriously could’ve hurt your brother if you by chance missed his hair and cut his head open or cut him on accident; you broke your brother’s trust. You messed with him while he was taking a nap.” Sam winced. If dad was cursing, then he really, really messed up.
“Think about how you would’ve felt in that situation if you were in your brother’s shoes. Waking up from a nap in a place you’re supposed to feel safe in to find your twin of all people holding like half of your hair in his hand without any prior indication; let alone asking you if it was okay or at least making him aware of what you were gonna do. Would you think it was,” Dad held his hands up to finger quote his exact words, “just a funny prank, or, think you wouldn’t care that much?”
Uriel gave his eldest son time to think on the prompted scenario, and watched Samuel carefully. The kid shifted in his spot, clenching and unclenching his jacket, and eyes flickering back and forth until they watered and turned back to look at him.
“No!” Sam’s voice shook. Uriel tilted his head.
“How would you feel?” Sam sniffled and scrubbed at his eyes.
“Horrible! And mad! Really, really mad!” Uriel nodded, grateful that he was able to get the point through and talk to his kid without raising his voice. Yelling excessively was still a habit that sometimes reared it’s ugly ass back in when he least expected it. He thought back to seeing Gab sniffling on Zazel’s chest. It wasn’t often that either of his boys cried, but he definitely knew he’d seen Gabriel cry a lesser amount of times than he’d seen Samuel. It hurt him deeply to see either of them in tears.
“Did you at least apologize?”
“I-I tried! But Gab wouldn’t even look at me!” Uriel sighed. Zazel had taken their youngest out to buy a hat to his liking and to probably get ice cream. It would be another two days before they got paid. So, unfortunately, Gab would have to live with his free unwanted haircut until they could take him to a barber’s shop to fix the damage. He looked back down to his eldest; who’s eyes were beginning to dry.
“This is for you and your brother to talk out. Don’t push Gabriel to forgive you because you feel bad. Try to find a solution.” Sam gave one last sniffle, his eyes now puffy and red, and nodded at his dad.
“M’kay.” Uriel nodded.
“Good. You’re grounded.”
“For how long?” Uriel didn’t answer immediately.
“Yes.”
—————————————
“Gab?” The door almost hit Sam’s nose with how hard it was slammed shut. The eldest twin stumbled backwards with a shout of surprise. “Gab,” Sam tried again hesitantly.
“What do you want?!”
“I want to say I’m sorry! Can you please open the door?”
“No! Go away! I hate you, you- you jerk!” Sam’s eyes widened, and he scrambled to press his hands against the door.
“What?! No! Please don’t hate me! I-I’m really sorry! It was really really really stupid of me to cut your hair! I’m sorry! Gab!” The door opened abruptly, causing Sam to almost fall into the room since he was leaning his weight on the door. His twin stared at him with angry, watery eyes and clenched, shaking balled up fists.
“Fine! I don’t hate you! But I’m really mad at you! And I’m not forgiving you for this! Now go away!” The door slammed shut again.
From the couch, Zazel glanced over at his partner with worry for their boys, having heard the whole argument since their home was small. Uriel caught his partner’s stare and shrugged.
“This is for them to work out,” he murmured. “Gab will eventually not be mad with Sammy enough to talk to him for longer than a minute. Not that he’ll stop being mad or has to forgive Sammy, but that’s what’ll probably happen. They’re twins. They can figure it out on their own.” Zazel huffed softly, returning to the beanie in his hand. Gabriel had picked out a few star patches that he wanted sown into his beanie to wear to school tomorrow. Zazel hoped that Gabriel wouldn’t be picked on for this. He wasn’t sure if he could trust himself to handle the situation civilly if either of his sons were to be bullied at any point in their lives.
—————————————
Gabriel clenched the straps of his backpack in his hands tightly. If he listened hard enough, he could hear a few kids snickering around him. Thankfully, none of them came to confront the twins. Regardless, Gabriel could feel the burning stares in his back and hear the harsh laughter of their peers around him. He reached up and tugged the beanie on his head down to cover his eyes and most of his ears frustratedly. From next to Gab, Sam’s hand hovered hesitantly over his twin’s shoulder, but he instead moved it to rub the back of his neck sheepishly. Samuel didn’t know if Gabriel would take his attempt at comfort as pity.
———
Gabriel wasn’t even paying attention enough to where they were going that the youngest twin didn’t take note of it as he followed a few steps behind his older twin.
His day had been terrible! In the end it felt like he could hear the laughter and taunts of the kids around him more than the teachers!
Sam’s hand wrapped around Gab’s. He glanced up. Sam was about to push the door to a shop open. A familiar shop. Papa brings him and Sam here a lot to look at and pick pretty patches on things like his hats or his blankets or sweaters. Papa brought him here yesterday and let him pick some patches to be sowed into his beanie for school.
“Why are we here?”
“You really like the moon shaped patches, right? You should pick some out, or whichever patches you want really.” Gabriel blinked.
“But… Dad and Papa aren’t here to buy them for us.” Sam dug into his pocket and pulled out some money. “But that’s your allowance!”
“I know! It’s just… I-I don’t know how else to make this up to you. I’ve been wanting to ask you how I could, but I know you didn’t want to talk to me and I didn’t want to make you any madder.” Gab stared at his twin for a long, silent minute before responding. He could see the guilt in his brother. Gab pursed his lips.
“Okay.”
——————————————
Zazel sunk in relief when he saw his children at the door and pulled them both in for a hug before pulling back. He lifted his hands and signed frantically.
Where on earth have you two been?!
“We went to that shop you usually like to take us to! The one with the patches.”
“Look!” Gab excitedly presented his new patches to his Papa. The man blinked in surprise, but huffed in relief with a soft smile.
That’s wonderful! I’m glad to see you picked some out for yourself! Next time though please tell us before you make such plans by yourselves so we know where you are. Right now, your dad is searching a few blocks down for you two. Let me tell him to come home and I will help you with your new patches after dinner.
The two winced.
“Sorry, we didn’t mean to worry you!”
“Yeah!”
It’s fine, just, again, please ask us before you plan something by yourselves.
“Also,” Sam trailed off. Zazel tilted his head in curiosity. “Can-Can you teach me how to sow please? I want to help Gab,” he glanced to his twin, “if that’s alright with you of course!”
Gabriel hummed in consideration, then smiled and nodded.
Zazel smiled. Looks like the two really were working things out on their own.
——————
It was well into the night already almost eleven o’clock when Sam had finished sewing the first star into Gab’s beanie. His determination helping him fight off the drowsiness and yawning as he sat next to Zazel on the sofa. Gab had already been long since asleep. Gab always went to sleep early and had the easiest time sleeping out of the two of them. A hand gently caressed his hair. Sam looked back up to his Papa.
It’s well past your bedtime, sunshine. We can pick this back up tomorrow.
“But I only did one star! And even then it doesn’t look as good as your’s papa!” Papa smiled at him.
It’s your first time learning how to sow. And so far you’ve completed your first patchwork in about five hours. See it as progress and do not ignore what you’ve accomplished. I’m sure your brother appreciates the effort from you all the same.
“Do you think he hates me?” Zazel blinked.
Why would Gabriel hate you?
“I could’ve hurt him! And he was so embarrassed at school today and it’s all my fault! I would hate me if I was in Gab’s shoes.” Zazel huffed softly and stroked Sam’s hair.
That’s not true and you know it. There is a very big difference between being angry with someone and hating someone. Your brother has every right to be angry with you, but I don’t think he hates you for it because you’re doing your best to show that you feel bad for what you did. That, and understanding why what you did is wrong, is what is important. You’ve apologized and are trying to make it up to him. He sees that. Sam took the advice in carefully.
“I still feel really bad.”
I know, and you should. Even though Gabriel’s hair will grow back, it’s still something you shouldn’t have done in the first place because you know Gabriel didn’t want or appreciate it. But, it’s not the end of the world. Gabriel’s hair is still fixable and this will pass with time. Just make sure you never do something like this again. Okay? Sam nodded silently with a yawn; rubbing his eye. Zazel smiled.
I think it’s time for bed, yes?
“Mhm.” Sam was scooped into Zazel’s arms carefully, the boy pressing his chin into his papa’s shoulder. The beanie still clenched in Sam’s hand.
——————————————
Papa pulled them out of school early to go get Gab’s haircut the next day.
The chairs swiveled to show the finished result. Zazel beamed at the result and gave a thumbs up. Uriel nodded. The hairstylist handed Gabriel back his glasses so that way he could see if he liked the new hairstyle himself.
“Alright, I think it looks good,” Uriel stated. “What about you two? Do you like your haircuts?”
“My head feels a lot lighter!” Sam smiled at his parents.
Gab fiddled with the shortened tips of his own hair for a moment.
“I miss it being longer, but I like this too.” Uriel stared at his youngest for a moment; trying to gage if Gabriel was just telling them that to please them, but found no hint of it. Zazel smiled at the two of them. Sam had wound up wanting a haircut too after the whole ordeal in an attempt to show some kind of support for his brother. By now thankfully the twins were on speaking terms and a decent portion of the tense air between them had cleared up. Gabriel was still mad about the whole ordeal, but he wasn’t shutting Samuel out anymore. Gabriel was just more excited about his hair not looking like a two year old got a hold of scissors and took them to his hair anymore. As the family walked out of the store after paying; Gabriel tugged Sam closer to him by the arm.
“You still have the patches, right?” Sam nodded. “Can you finish sewing the rest of them into my beanie?” Sam’s eyes widened.
“Why? You don’t need it anymore, don’t you?” Sam’s eyebrows furrowed with worry, his gaze flicking up to his brother’s hair. “Did you not like the haircut?”
“I do,” Gabriel snapped. He tensed and lowered his voice. “It’s just… I really like the beanie. So I want you to finish it so I can keep wearing it.”
Samuel beamed at his brother.
“Okay!”
——————————————
“It’s really hard to imagine Gabriel with blond hair,” Bloom noted as they stared at the picture of the two brothers standing next to each other.
Gabriel looked absolutely adorable with those big red framed glasses, Bloom mused to themself.
“The fact that he had to have had blond hair isn’t something that I thought hard enough on.” Sam blinked at his coworker.
“You’ve never seen Moony without his hat?” Bloom shook their head, ‘no.’
“Huh! That’s a shocker! Well, if you ever do see him without one on, his roots are growing again so he has a patch of blond hair on the top of his head!” The door to their apartment slammed open, causing the two coworkers to jump in surprise.
“Sam! You better not have gotten the-!” Gabriel groaned in annoyance as he saw his partner and brother huddled around their childhood photo album.
“Hi Moony!” Sam smiled.
“Of course you’re showing them.” He turned to Bloom and pointed to the photo album in Sam’s hands. “That was one of the first things he pulled out, wasn’t it?”
Bloom nodded. “Yup.”
Gabriel sighed, moving to the kitchen counter to set the bags of groceries in his hand down on the counter.
“Did you get everything okay?” Sam turned to address his twin.
“Yes. It’s your turn to cook tonight.” Sam’s face turned into a grimace at the reminder. “I’m gonna find that old school photo of you with that big ass zit on the center of your forehead.” Sam looked up from the photo album suspiciously.
“What for?”
“To show to Y/N.” Sam gasped in offense; his face tinting to a bright red.
“Don’t you dare!”
————————————
“Can I see your hair under your beanie?” Gabriel blinked and turned to look at Bloom with a quirked eyebrow.
“What for?” His partner shrugged and smiled.
“I’m just curious. Sam said your blond roots were growing back and I want to see it.” Gabriel didn’t answer immediately.
“Fine.” Bloom reached up and gingerly tugged the beanie off of their partner’s head. Gabriel tried not to shudder and tried to hide his blush as Bloom’s warm fingertips accidentally brushed the shell of his ear as they did so.
Bloom stayed silent for a long moment as they stared, admiring the unique, but beautiful blend of colors. Somehow, underneath the illumination of the overhead street light above the two of them, Gabriel looked stunning to Bloom. Gabriel glanced back at his partner.
“What?”
“You’re very pretty, have I told you?” Gabriel couldn’t hide the deep red flush that crossed his face.
“Yeah, sure. Just give me my hat back.” Bloom hummed.
“Hmmm, nope!” Without another word they took off down the sidewalk; leaving their boyfriend in the dust.
“What?! Hey! Come back here with that!” Gabriel began to jog to try and catch Bloom.
“Why can’t I give it back to you tomorrow?” Bloom had placed the hat on their head, sticking their tongue out at Gab.
“Because I need it!”
“Why? Your hair is pretty!”
“You try being compared to a Christmas star knock off as often as I have!”
