I don’t normally post on commercial brands but this was pretty amazing, it’s not my first 2000 vintage 128 but it’s interesting to watch them evolve. It’s evidence of some pretty good winemaking nearly 20 years ago. My notes: Penfolds Bin 128 Shiraz 2000 Pretty amazing still has primary fruit on nose tinned plums and vanilla. Silky smooth backed by slightly grippy acid. Tannin absent. Dark raspberries mulberry and plums. Great finish totally integrated.
