i am a firm believer that grades dont actually matter
but there is something so goddamn validating about consistently getting better than average grades in law school
#ive only scored below the average (by ONE point) ONCE this semester#my contracts professor picked my last essay to show to the class as the 'right answer' example#i've been SO CLOSE to getting. perfect scores on my civ pro quizzes#finals are RIGHT around the corner but im going into them feeling CONFIDENT#all this from a girl who did WELL BELOW average in undergrad#like i FAILED classes in undergrad#but now im fuckin killing it and in LAW SCHOOL NO LESS#im just so proud of myself#if 18/19 year old burnout me could see me now#she'd probably be mostly surprised i was alive but the grades would be a shock bc i went from an A+ student in high school to mostly Cs#and a few Fs in undergrad#ok im sorry this is personal but im just so HAPPY#and i cant talk about it much with my friends at school#bc i dont want to rub their faces in my good grades when some of them are struggling
