shes my baby girl. i'm going to do it in bullet points bc there is too much to try to condense into a like. talky thing. but the overview is verde is very strong kinda lame ex corpo and had a wild side when she was younger (fuckin every awful nc man and fighting people) and now just wants to stay home and chill the older she gets

grew up in a very wealthy militech-oriented family, spent her time between their apartment in charter hill and jackie’s place bc their moms were besties (mama gloria was originally from heywood)

started to rly get deep into art and painting when she was 8. Her parents had her enrolled in some pretty intense courses once they saw her passion and talent. she was slated to be a comfortable artist living off considerable fortune and rubbing elbows with all the NC elite.

at the same time as that tho she’s running around with jackie getting into scraps and discovering while she has the hands for creating,,,she also has the hands for beating the shit out of anybody that comes near her.

dad is murdered when she’s like 13, mom passed when she was 19 from complications of A Chronic Illness after they were poisoned. #corpothings. Verde was mostly fine she's got a STRONG constitution. sorta. not rly after she gets the biochip out she’s fucked UP

they lost Everything after That and her and gloria were forced to move to a worn down mold infested apartment in heywood. gloria was left largely bedridden due to the Illness™️ so it came down to verde to support the two of them. Mama welles is like Let me help you where I can but Verde kinda proud so shes like no I can handle our buisiness ty., (she still sends Jackie with food a few times a week)

Which meant abandoning art and doubling down on her street fighting skills because only the latter was bringing in enough money for them to live off of.

Eventually Gloria gets tired of seeing her come home with a busted tooth, eye, etc,,,, pleads with her to take a job with Militech. Or maybe Kang Tao but she still knows people at Militech that may help Verde out a lil bit so. Off Verde goes as soon as she's eligible to work there bc her mom is getting worse and she wants them to be back in at least a clean home. Gloria passes literally the week before she gets their apartment but nobody will come collect her so Pepe and Jackie come to bury her where they can. :(

During the tail end of that she meets Val :) who tries to rob her bc corpo and then when verde is like u just stole my dinner from me shes like well...n verde is like just keep it u seem like u need it. and the rest is history after val shows up to watch her get trounced in a fight and is like wow. kinda pathetic. thats my friend now.

After that shes stuck at Militech bc. loyalty contract. at some point right before Arasaka is reopening she spots a weakness and steals a bunch of schematics and documents from Militech. Uses it to get into Arasaka and away from Militech bc better benefits and a shorter contract and they'll also protect her. + Jenkins has been trying to recruit her. Also breaks up with boyfriend Ramon after he slides deeper into unsavoury Valentino activities. :(

Begins her time at Arasaka and on her own merits and help from Jenkins secures her spot in counter-intel. Meets Landon a couple years later and he charms her. -_-

Everything goes relatively well for her after she breaks up with Landon a couple years later until Jenkins pulls that bullshit. Landon is part of that whole operation to get her and Jenkins tf out of there bc hes a bitter cunt.

Thus begins the main storyline of 77 and all that nonsense.
