#my ocs#cel#aaart#i already know im not going to be able to her nose right again but its cute and im gonna fuckin try fjsldfkljd#specifically in the like lord of distant isles retelling#shes the one that assisted lance during his fight at dolarous guard and brought him his shields from the Lady#and when he finds out it's her hes like SO excited and hugs her and its very sweet#its free childhood buddy :>#unpictured but also there's a line in that book thats like 'a woman [lance] would have recognized if her face had not been heavily veiled'#so shes got!! a veil and i have lore in my brain about the other 'servants' of the lady#in that they all have some sort of veil/hood/face covering to protect their identity#and theres some sort of enchantment on them so that they can't be followed back to the lake without their knowladge if that makes sense#i say servants in quotes bc they're like#moreso her equivalent of knights jklfdsl#shes got messengers and healers and ones who keep track of surface conflicts so she can keep tabs on it#ALSO#I KNOW CHATELAINES ARE FROM THE VICTORIAN ERA#I DONT CARE I THINK SHE CAN HAVE ONE AS A TREAT#im trying to lean more into the 'fantasy' part of 'vague middle fantasy arthu(riana)'
