CASH-GRAB QUICKIE GREATEST HITS, #2. Too harsh, too glib, that subsection title—this is a terrific album. But it’s barely a half hour long, including the flip-over. Surely even early Jones had more hits or hitlike songs than just these, at this point? Plus I found it in a cut-out bin, back in the day. But it sounds very “high fidelity,” unlike some quickie cash-grab greatest hits (like the one after this).
