Dreamers & Lovers
"Wait for us
We are packing up
And we’ll leave the keys behind
Travel on, travel on
And I’m sure we’ll rise tomorrow
Dreamers, who are looking for something
Lovers, who feel they’re not enough
Look around, you don’t know what you’re missing
Before it’s all gone
They say that the birds will sing
As the gates open before us
With every step we are getting so close
And I’m sure we’ll rise tomorrow
Dreamers, who are looking for something
Lovers, who feel they’re not enough
Look around, you don’t know what you’re missing
Before it’s all gone
Before it’s all gone
Before it’s all gone
Before it’s all gone
You might also like
Soldiers, there is no need for fighting
Lovers, who feel they’re not enough
Look around, you don’t know what you’re missing
Before it’s all gone"

I have confession to make…. I have an addition to music. I find myself regularly looking for my next fix, my next musical obsession. I’m a lover of well written songs, of deep groove, soaring melodies, and the place a great piece of music can take me. I’ve been this way since I was a kid. Collecting albums, making mix tapes, making mix tapes for friends, DJing for decades, producing concerts and festivals… this routine of sharing music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’m conducing a little experiment, I’ve started a playlis on Spotify called “Sultan32 Tunes of the Time”. My current musical obsessions will be featured on this playlist, it will be updated every Tuesday with about an hour of music. Find the link on my profile. This week we have music from: international breakthrough artist #Hozier, the magical @youssoundour1959 #YoussouNDour, LA based songwriter #SheyBaba, French DJ Producers #Polo&Pan, one of my favorite groups @thegiftofficial from Portugal, Sudanese-American musician #Sinkane, a new song from the #MarvinGaye archives, new music from #CitizenCope, a fresh reggae collaboration between #Sia and #Diplo, a dancehall scorcher from #DJVadim, Congolese rock band #Jupiter&Okwess (they’re touring the US this coming month, they crush, see them if they are in your city), the ferocious #BudosBand outta Brooklyn, An old favorite from London’s #BlocParty, #TheBadPlus covering #WeAreTheChampions by #Queen, A beautiful simplified piano rendition of “The Void” by one of my favorite bands #MUSE. And classical pianist #HélèneGrimaud covering #NitinSawhney Please share you comments and let me know if you find any new favorites. Thanks for listening, Fabian (at Los Angeles, California) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bwfg5PlBuYG/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=11nb9h031zpdy
