two hours after releasing thank u, next & receiving countless amounts of positive feedback, lennox took to instagram to post a barbie-style outfit that had been personally made for her and delivered less than half an hour after the release. in response, the designer was tagged & soon the pair released the design to the public for purchase.

002. the lollipop picture : ( me looking @rydcrisms.. no, really )

during one of ryder’s dry directing spells & post lennox’s tour, the pair were spotted on the streets of LA window shopping while the brunette proceeded to lick on her candy while she stared up at ryder. this quickly became a viral picture, eventually turning into a meme.

003. sue me :  (  i got sued for posting this photo, of myself, that was taken without my consent. therefore, let me just say, fuck you, paparazzi. guess what imma still post. )

after posting said photo, lennox was sued by the photographer &, in turn, had to pay a hefty settlement. in retaliation, lennox proceeded to post the photo repeatedly, despite it getting removed by instagram multiple times for copyright, before they finally gave up & it became one of her most liked. after discovering it would stay up this time, lennox changed to caption that above.

004. infinity tour :   (  last show of infinity. i’ll miss you guys. thank u phoenix. )

ending her tour in phoenix, lennox had never been good with saying goodbye to that part of her life. she adored being on tour -- the freeness of it, a different city every night, something new always around the corner. there were so many places to go, so many fans to meet. after finding a photo posted by a fan at the show, lennox said a public goodbye to the city & the infinity tour.

005. sisterly sleepover :   ( this is all i’ll ever need [ tagged - @halilcd, @sicnna ] )

a long night fighting via facetime with with ryder & delilah having a bad night with kauri quickly resulted in a sleepover with sienna, delilah, & lennox herself. they knew nothing solved a bad mood and aching heart like wine, food & friendship.

006. blonde again :   (  oops i did it again !  )

in the case of ‘blondes have more fun’, it’s definitely a fact when it comes to lennox. going blonde again in late november of 2018, her fans lost their minds over it, like they always do. showing off her natural curls, lennox posted a sneak peek of a photoshoot to reveal the surprise to her fans.

007. when all else fails : ( @kavri i luv u like cheese fries )

after getting a little too wine-drunk one night, kauri came to the rescue, like he always does. requesting a piggy back ride, her best friend delilah, & a cheese fries from in n out, the pair packed on hats, jackets & sunglasses to begin their journey. on the way there, delilah proceeded to snap a picture, causing a smile to come across a hungover lennox’s face the next morning.

008. pre midnight : ( goodbye and good fucking riddance, 2018. )

forty five minutes before midnight on the west coast, lennox posted this photo of her getting ready for her late night celebration. 2018 hadn’t been kind to her, but this photo was, and it quickly became number 8 on her top 9 in that short time before the clock hit 12.

leaving zero caption, the red ribbon around lennox’s wrist has always been a bit of a curious grey area with her fans. relating back to she and ryder’s christmas traditions, this was posted in a time of distress in the relationship, serving as a reminder of the happier times.

001. shine signed : ( see you in la, shine. )

two hours after getting home from her meeting with shine & finally being signed on with a manager, ivy relished in the fact that she was told to be exactly who she wanted to be. for years, her sweet baby face had earned a plentiful amount of trust ( & money ) for her through her channel, and she feared that if she changed her image she would lose her following. now, signed with shine, there was almost nothing she could do to lose fans. after all, people love shine, and there’s no such thing as bad press. putting on a exposing crocheted dress and bright red lipstick, ivy posed outside of her new apartment building & uploaded it, causing increased attention from everyone.

002. kermie : ( kermie, aka the only man i’ll ever trust )

ivy’s always had one consistent obsession growing up: frogs. for years, she begged her parents for one, until they finally broke and allowed her to get one at fifteen. since then, the australian green tree frog ( named kermie, of course ) has been traveling by ivy’s side like any other pet would. now settled in LA, kermie has a special corner in ivy’s room. she often makes jokes that he’s the only man she’ll ever trust, considering he truly has seen all of her secrets unfold.

003. only liked him for the bike :  (  more dangerous than u know. )

after a few hours of window shopping in the streets of rome, ivy caught the attention of a handsome young man. after some talking, he quickly caught her attention all the same -- or at least, his bike did. the blonde’s always been one to go for the bad boys, and the bike screamed just that. ‘come on, let me get a shot of you on it. i’ll even teach you how to ride it once we get you in something a little more.. comfortable’, the boy convinced. the shot was taken, and posted the following morning.

004. stole her sunglasses :   (  don’t talk to me until i’ve had my coffee. )

after arriving at the airport to head to LA for her last shine meeting, ivy got her first taste of paparazzi. this resulted in her being captured in her signature next day outfit: a sheer shirt from the night before’s party, a sports bra she shoved in her clutch for next-day, and a pair of sunglasses taken from her hookup’s nightstand. a few hours after posting it, ivy received a few angry texts, causing her to question why she ever gave the girl her number in the first place.

005. jessica rabbit :   ( oh, honey bunny ! )

halloween always snuck up on ivy, and 2018 was no different. after being invited last-minute to a costume party, ivy did the only thing she could think of: she grabbed a skin tight red dress, silver sparkle heels, put on her reddest lipstick & BOOM ! she was jessica rabbit for the evening, and nearly placed in the contest just for sheer wow factor.

006. touchdown in honolulu :   (  8am flight has never been so worth it.  )

one of ivy’s top five places to visit, honolulu, hawaii. after touching down, ivy proceeded to go to her favorite hotel & get changed from her flight. after getting a few smoothies with her temporary partner, they snapped a quick picture of ivy’s outfit, which ended up being posted shortly after their day ended.

007. tiny ivy : ( don’t you ever grow up.. it could stay this simple )

ivy often looks back at childhood photos, but this one always hit her where it hurt. her parents were happy, but she couldn’t take away the sting that came only days after this birthday photo was taken. no daughter should have to walk in on her father sleeping with anybody, let alone her own nanny, let alone at such a young age. she often wishes she could go back, never see anything, never allow the hidden pain behind this photo to exist. still, she leaves it up as a reminder of the innocence she used to have.

008. paris love : ( it’s not you, it’s not me, baby, it’s the city. )

in her favorite place, the amount of photos posted in paris while ivy’s present is unbearable. this one, though, obviously taken by someone else with a dozen roses on the balcony, caused quite a stir with ivy’s fans, causing them to thing she had finally settled down. while she’s in paris, ivy always let her feelings get the best of her, but the day she gets ready to leave ? she knows. it’s not in her, and it’s nothing against them... it’s just the way the city goes.

009. aspen, co : ( snuggle bug )

posted shortly after arriving at aspen with her fellow shine stars, ivy embraced her fur jacket and attempted to stay warm while snapping the picture. this was her first major trip with shine, and her first major confirmation that they did, in fact, want to keep her. though the trip was rocky indeed, the photo was her last posted of 2018 and earned a #9 spot.

1. november 2018: petra walked her first victoria’s secret fashion show and posted a selfie from backstage after her biggest look of the night.

2. june 2018: on her 21st birthday, petra posted a throwback to her first shoot with shine when she was just 14 to reflect on how far she had come since those trips to LA that had felt so futile and hopeless.

Finn’s life directly revolves around music. It’s her passion, and it’s something she’s really good at.

01. Dark Blue by Jack's Mannequin

Finn doesn't know why this song is so important, but it is. The only reason she can come up with is the fact that sibling's influence is what brought her to this song.

02. Alexander Hamilton by Leslie Odom, Jr., Anthony Ramos, Daveed Diggs, Okieriete Onaodowan, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Phillipa Soo, Christopher Jackson + Company (Hamilton: An American Musical Soundtrack)

Who doesn't love a rap musical? The opening number of this musical is magically intricate and always steals Finn's attention from reality.

03. Let It Go by Idina Menzel (Frozen Soundtrack)

So this really isn’t Finn. It’s still her niece’s favorite song.

04. Holiday by John Gallagher, Jr. + Company (American Idiot: the Musical Soundtrack)

This combined two of Finn’s favorite things: musical theater and Green Day.

05. Rise by Finn Monticello

Finn has been secretly writing songs for a few months now. The only reason it is in her most played songs is because she's so paranoid about it. She's getting her chance to tell a story through music, and it needs to be perfect.

This is slightly more obvious because Finn and Sienna were in Grease Live. Now, it reminds Finn of the memories behind the scenes and every accident that happened on set. Finn is glad that she acquired a really good friend from this experience.

task 004  — let life be like music

Jace’s taste in music is not what people would expect from a person like him, or at least the person he has become. He grew up listening to jazz, soul, and r&b. His grandfather was a big fan of jazz and played it constantly. Jace spent a lot of time with his grandparents–at first, just so his mother could have help when his father was traveling, and then it was more of a choice, though his home life was just fine. He loved the music and has been listening to it for as long as he can remember but more so in the years since his grandfather passed away. These are his favorites, plus a few non-jazz songs.

01. Sir Duke by Stevie Wonder

Sir Duke is the number one most played song on Jace’s iPod. He loves the rhythm, he loves the lyrics, and he loves the tune. It’s just a great song.

02. Straight, No Chaser by Thelonious Monk

This was one of the first tunes that Jace remembers, and it’s one that calms him on stressful days or when he needs to bring himself back to his old self (in private, of course).

03. B. for B.B. by Hank Mobley

There’s no real reason for why this song is most played by Jace other than that he simply likes the song. He does really enjoy the trumpet in this one, though, so there’s that.

04. Cheek To Cheek by Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong

Jace started getting more interested in Ella’s music in the past couple years. Cheek To Cheek just happens to be the one he likes most off her album with Louis.

05. P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing) by Michael Jackson

Who doesn’t love a little Michael Jackson? This song has a great beat and a catchy tune. Jace might also like to play it when he’s drunk, and that may or may not happen quite often.

Finn and Jace were together at a time when Jace wasn’t completely separated from his genuine personality. They had a lot of good times, and Jace really liked her. When he hears this song, he finds himself thinking about Finn, wondering if he really misses her or if it’s just the song playing mind tricks on him.

07. The Joker by Steve Miller Band ( @delilahknox )

This song is a pretty good fit to how Jace was in his late teens, back when he and Delilah spent a lot more time together. He wasn’t a complete dick, but he was all fun and games, taking things too far sometimes. He and Delilah weren’t really a thing, per se, but the media sure had a thing or two to say about them, namely that he was no good for the sweet little angel they saw. At the time, he couldn’t care less. He was having a great time with any girl he wanted. When he looks back on it now, though, he wonders if they were right. Maybe he did do her wrong.

08. Young Volcanoes by Fall Out Boy ( @natelloyd )

Nate is one of the few people Jace considers a friend these days. He doesn’t have many, and he’s not sure even now if this friendship is the real thing, but they have a good time partying and causing trouble. They’re assholes, more or less, and most of their male bonding comes from bar fights, but it’s quite possible to get something more out of them.

09. Art of War by We the Kings ( @sicnna )

It scares the hell out of Jace because he does not want to be right about this one thing, but something tells him that Sienna can see right through him to that tiny little crack in his armor where his old self–his true self–waits for his return. After all, she knows better than most what it’s like to grow up in the spotlight. He’s determined to keep up his fight, whatever that may be. His old self stays hidden from the paparazzi and just about everyone he comes into contact with, and it’s going to stay that way. ((not exactly going along with the song, but this is what it makes him think about))

Obviously this song reminds Jace of New York. It mostly reminds him of the time he lived there, when he met and got together with Finn, and the general attitude he had toward the city.

When Jace was 13, his grandfather took him to the country club where a local high school jazz band was playing. They played a fairly long set, but this particular one brings him back to that day because his grandfather told him about the “story” behind the song, explaining the phone number and then venturing off into stories from his past. It’s a memory that Jace has always cherished.

Jace has become a not-so-nice guy, and he likes it that way. He likes having power over people and giving the world the entertainment and shock factor they apparently need. 14. Control by Halsey

This song is “his” because it sort of matches who he is now but also the fact that he doesn’t like that person (well, he does, but sometimes he wonders how he got this way). Is he in control, or has he lost himself?

His grandfather used to put this song on when Jace was having a bad day or even when he was having one himself. Together, they would sit in the living room, heads back and eyes closed, and tap along to the music until their blues had calmed. Now that his grandfather is gone, Jace will do the same thing and just imagine that he’s there beside him like old times.

What’s great about this song is the lively beat and Ella’s scatting. It always puts a smile on Jace’s face and keeps it there.

Louis’s voice is enough to make any song of his a love song, but this song is, of course, a classic. Jace doesn’t really think about “love” really, but this would be one of his favorites in that category.

Jace could jam all day to Stevie Wonder. He’s a legend. When he got a record player, his first album was one of Stevie’s… as was the second. The music gets him going in the morning or any time of day.

001. adventure time by bry

this is one of those songs that delilah fell in love with the minute she heard it. she’s not entirely sure why she loves it so much, she just finds it very soothing musically but she tries not to listen to the lyrics too much otherwise it does make her cry like most other things.

002. tenerife sea by kauri hendry (ed sheeran)

the fact that this song is by her boyfriend is totally a coincidence. and that’s not her being sarcastic. delilah discovered this song when she was in australia with her brother and her grandparents, her brother being allowed to choose the songs they listened to while he spent time in their grandparents’ pool and she relaxed in the sun and she found that the voice and the song were very pleasing to her ears. who’d have known that soon enough she’d be meeting the guy singing it and end up dating him.

003. easy love by sigala

whether she’s getting ready to go out, wanting a good way to start the morning or just needs a quick pick me up from an impromptu dance session, this is delilah’s go to. it just puts her in an amazing mood and makes her happy. though if she’s already happy then she has another song to listen to.

004. feeling myself - nicki minaj ft. beyonce

despite the title, this is the song delilah listens to when she’s not feeling so great because it’s almost like the powers of queens nicki and beyonce give her the confidence she’s needing. just that first note puts her in her usual ‘delilah knox’ mindset and she’s ready to start the day. 

005. hands on me - ariana grande ft. a$ap ferg

it’s a sexual song. she’s delilah. this one isn’t too hard to work out.

the best thing (that never happened to you) - delilah knox (we are the in crowd)

though it is yet to be released, delilah wrote this about a certain guy in her life. or a certain guy who was once in her life. she can’t really explain the relationship that they had, just that it did fuck her up a little bit. for months after whatever their thing was, she found herself still wanting him and then one day, it was like she realised that she was better than that and she suddenly saw the truth behind everything. yeah, it’s a pretty angry song but it was a necessary one and stuff she just needed to get off her chest. because she really is the best thing that never happened to him.

brighter - delilah knox (against the current)

to those who know her fully, it’s no secret that delilah is not as confident as she makes out. she has little to no faith in herself but she’s been working on it lately. and she took herself as inspiration for this song. though, this song is one that should speak for itself.

it’s a reasonably old one now but this is a love song that delilah grew up with. during her teenage ‘emo/scene’ phase, this was one of the songs that her friends would listen to and she just enjoyed the sound and the lyrics. everything really. she’d never truly understood the words until now though.

always you - box of light

it’s mostly the sound of this one that delilah loves. the singers voice, the old school sound of it, the reasonably cute lyrics only add to the vibe of it all. this would be a song that she’d cover if she ever had the opportunity.

shut up and kiss me - reece mastin

who knew, delilah has a thing for fellow australians. not only did young delilah find reece incredibly attractive, she also really enjoyed his music. this song in particular sticking out to her. this was one of the songs that she wanted to grow up to be like. she wanted to be like the girl in the song and as far as she’s concerned, she managed it.

fall for you - secondhand serenade

it’s a sad one that makes delilah cry just like everything else. though this is one of the love songs that actually means something. despite being written from a males perspective about a female, delilah feels like this fits quite a few moments in her relationship that she’s caused herself with her own stupidity and lack of self control but she knows now that she’ll never want anyone else because she’s managed to find someone who is like one in a million. perfect in every way.

delilah has no idea when she found oasis. maybe it was something a family member used to listen to? maybe it was from a show? maybe it was a friend? either way she’s thankful. this band is delilah’s all time favourite. no question about it. don’t go away, champagne supernova and slide away being her three favourite by them. what initially caught her attention was their song lyla because of the nickname everyone uses for her, though that one has never really been a favourite but she still enjoys it.

there was one summer back when delilah was 16 and she’d just got back from australia after filming there for about two years and she’d missed her other home so much. this summer she made so many friends because while she was away she seemed to blossom. no longer was she this shy, insecure little girl, she was now a gorgeous, confident young woman and people seemed to notice it. that summer was spent enjoying her time with her friends, roadtripping with them, staying out all night, experiencing things she’d only seen in movies and on tv. it was the most thrilling and amazing summer of her life and she wouldn’t change a second of it.

despite not really being into rap other than nicki minaj and drake, this song was one that she just enjoyed. it made her both sad and feel loved all at once and she wasn’t really sure how. maybe it was the fact that she related so strongly to some of the parts to it... okay, just about all of the parts.

delilah had been driving to work in her car when this song came on. every word of it fitting kauri perfectly in her mind. the things he’d say to her about always being there no matter what time it was or where he was and how if she needed him then she just had to call. though she rarely did because she didn’t feel like she was that important to distract him from whatever he was doing. there have been a few time, especially when they’ve had to be apart, that she’s had this on repeat and had a bit of a cry because she missed him so much.

whenever delilah needs to just chill out or relax, aiden’s the guy she thinks of. it might be due to them being roommate and tended to just watch tv together whenever they’re both in the house but either way, if she wants to just be lazy and have a little chill out time, aiden’s the man she gets.

last night makes delilah think of freya because of all the nights out they’ve been on together. going out when the sun’s just starting to set and only just geting home when the sun is being to rise again. not remembering much of the night before but knowing it had to be good. then there’s smile because freya makes her smile and she hopes she makes freya smile. that’s basically it. she probably has a bit of a friend crush on freya if we’re being honest.

Without your influence, both good and bad, who knows where i’d be. They say who you meet when you’re a teenager are the people who influence your life the most, developmental wise or some shit. You of course taught me some things I could have gone without, drugs and booze and whatnot. But you also taught me some important life lessons that i’ll never forget.
