I’m trying to get myself to draw Douglas for the first time and how come I never realized this. I even drew out my revelation I have been stopped in my tracks.

How did I never see this before, is it just me???? He just looks like if a John Deer tractor was turned into a random inconspicuous robot guy.

I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned on here that I really relate to roaches. Not in an ironic sense either. Like I really believe in them.

There’s something about the plight of a creture labeled so disgusting by all that I feel is parallel to my trans one. I think of them very fondly now.

I have recently come up with a strategy to help me sketch more, despite my stimming/pacing issues being a bit of a hinderance for this. Bc I have to stim like. Almost constantly, and I’m at my most creative when I can stim/move more, i pace a lot and listen to music when I can’t make myself sit down and it’s kinda hard to sketch or draw in a sketchbook on a desk like that. So I’ve developed a thing where I tape either a big sheet of cheap newsprint paper or a couple of sheets of sketchbook paper to my wall, directly in the line of sight to where I pace. This has made it easier for me to jot down my sketches as I’m pacing! And if I get stuck, I can immediately resume my pacing and not have my brain get all clogged up.

So when I’m ready to scribble stuff out again after pacing a bit more, the paper is right there and ready. I also keep a pack of crayons on a desk right near this, in reach, so I have something to draw with. The crayons also help expedite what I might want my color choices to be and weirdly enough having to stand up to draw has been better on my back than my normal chair posture. (Wish I had figured this out sooner lmao)

I finally went for an autism diagnosis and the doctor I was working with was not only great but he had a Rung figure and we got to gush about Transformers and Megaman together but really the Rung figure on a licensed psychologist’s desk is amazing
