Someone said BabeCharlie come off as shallow in the show compared to the novel and honestly says a lot about people's lack of ability to consume media. Charlie is literally rough in the novel so is babe, they are so much more human in the show. If charlie comes off as a "sociopath" because he smiles a lot or "doesn't feel" much (HUH) y'all watched a different show tbh. Pooh was so good showcasing Charlie's love, devotion and insecurities through his eyes and Let me tell y'all, i don't think y'all know that many people out there hide their pain, bury it under the happiness they show, this is the "you don't look depressed" bullshit all over again.

top 5 NC scenes 😎
Hi Kali! Top 5 NC scenes of 2023!
Ritsu fucking Masumi's Brains out in The End of the World With You. Honestly all of their love scenes were insanely good. Ritsu really put the business on Masumi every single time and he knew he was hitting all of Masumi's sweet spots. He was dipping and flipping Masumi every chance he got. Ritsu had Masumi gasping and moaning through the entirety short lil relationship.
Tumblr media
Babe getting fucked on the locker room floor in Pit Babe. Most recently in Pit Babe CharlieBabe shared a magical, adrenaline filled romp in the X-Hunter locker room and it was so damn good. Babe was thoroughly enjoying being railed by his best boy and I was in desperate need of that.
Tumblr media
LomNuea's wild romp before Lom marries Yiwa in Wedding Plan. This scene really showed me that Namnuea was not shy about sex and he was in fact very vocal and taunting. He was so playful and he told Sailom exactly what he wanted. 10/10.
Tumblr media
Nail RIDING him in For Him. NailHim's first time was INSANE. We got a lil blowjob action. Him railed Nail on a table and then Nail rode Him like an unlicensed cowboy and I enjoyed every bit of it.
Tumblr media
Alex and Henry's night in Paris from Red White and Royal Blue. This is not a BL but it is queer so I think it should count a little bit. FirstPrince's night in Paris was bonkers. I loved how shy Alex was and how Henry volunteered to take the reigns. Loved how Henry's hands guided Alex inside of him and I was BLOWN away by his facial expressions. It was a treat.

Pit Babe Finale Thoughts
I can’t believe PitBabe is over. I’ve been watching week by week since November and it has been such a wild ride. I don’t remember enjoying a show and the fandom space of the show so much since probably Kinnporshe.
And I did not have any expectations for this show. At most I was interested because Pavel was in it. But even then I hadn’t watched anything he’d been in in a while. Also I had heard after the first episode came out that it was an omega verse style show where Pavel’s character plays the “bottom”. That definitely intrigued me.
However I still had a lot of doubts. I just assumed Babe would be the typical toxic alpha character. And I keep saying this but I’m so glad I was proven wrong. This show has kept me on the edge every single episode and the final episode broke me and put me back together again.
Before I delve into what I loved I will say I really wish there had been just one more episode. Some parts of the final felt a bit rushed. I would have especially liked to see more of the aftermath of Tony’s fall, more specifically how they handled it with the public. Also I wanted to see some PeteKenta:(( Also I would have liked to see more CharlieBabe communication scenes, because they didn’t really talk that much in the last episode.
But I’m not mad at how the finale was structured and how it played out. Actually I’m quite the opposite with PitBabes finale. It wasn’t perfect but I loved it so much.
First off Kenta stabbing Tony was so powerful but also heartbreaking at the same time.
Tumblr media
Of course he had to be the one to finish off Tony. It’s the way also that Tony can’t believe it. He looks completely shocked. It’s the way that Kenta’s voice is soft he’s completely detached. He’s done enough.
And Way’s death.
Tumblr media
Not just his death but the whole scene where Babe is holding him as he is dying.
Tumblr media
The pain and desperation in Babe’s face made me want to cry. (Kudos to Pavel again) Even though Way had betrayed Babe’s trust and attempted to force himself onto Babe, in Babe’s mind at the moment he doesn’t think of all that. After all they have been friends so so many years. It’s hard to forget all of that
I loved this scene. Their dialogue especially broke me. Even till the end, when Way confesses his love, Babe tells him that we’re best friends. I love you but not the love you want.
And I really think Way redeemed himself, and this is all coming from someone who used to despise him. He gives his life up for Babe. He did something horrible okay yes but in the last few episodes he keeps his distance. He truly loves Babe, and because of the way he was raised he most likely didn’t even realize what he was doing was wrong, but after he realized how much he had hurt Babe he changed and it was clear to see.
See that’s the thing I love about the characters in Pit Babe I realized is that they have faults, no one character is perfect. Because of the trauma they suffered being a part of Tony’s orphanage they don’t know how to live a normal life. They all have their fatal flaws.
It’s why Babe is so desperate for love. And why Charlie is so self sacrificing. It’s the reason why Kenta couldn’t break free and the reason why Pete felt like he could fix those around him.
One last scene that I loved that I want to talk about is Babe and his Dad’s reunion.
Tumblr media
I’m so glad they included this. Babe deserved the closure and he also deserved to be angry and upset. He went through so much and to know that your dad is still alive and he hadn’t even contacted you years after?? This scene in my head is a comparison for Babe and Charlie’s reunion but I feel like because of this scene I understand why Babe forgave Charlie so much easier. First of all Babe suspected Charlie was alive so it wasn’t a complete shock to him. And also Charlie’s “death” was only for a week or two maybe more. Charlie death was a sacrifice for Babe. Charlie literally spends every second of his life fighting for Babe.
But on the other hand, Babe’s dad sacrificed Babe. There’s a clear difference between the two. Yes he was doing it to protect him but he could have tried to get him back?? He could have tried to contact Babe?? He was a coward. And he acknowledges that and Babe eventually does forgive him because after all it’s his dad. But I just thought the dichotomy of the two was interesting.
Now moving on to my favorite thing, Babe and Charlie. I haven’t fervently loved a main couple in so long but these two just do it for me. They are the perfect match. Their confession did it for me.
Tumblr media
Because of course Charlie had only loved Babe and Babe hasn’t loved anyone like Charlie before. They make me want to scream. Also in the final episode I really appreciated how supportive Charlie was. He was there and he understands Babe he doesn’t push. He just wants Babe to be happy. God I love them so much.
My brain is rotting and I feel like I have so much more to say but this post is already too long so that’s all my thoughts for now. I will miss this silly vroom vroom show so much :(((

Babe/Charlie? For the couples ask thing.
BabeCharlie - CharlieBabe
Tumblr media
What’s not to love about this power bottom Alpha and his Gary Sue love interest? Seriously, I talk shit, mostly for fun because I’m an ass that way. But I really do like how they flipped the script on what is typically portrayed in QLs, with the larger more muscular guy being an aggressive top and the smaller more waifish one being this uwu super femme bottom. Nah, Pit Babe not only tossed out the whole idea of your baseline ABO story - which let’s be honest most people need before even understanding anything more complex about that genre unless having read/written it before - but the series also tossed out that toxic bigger dude is the ‘guy’ in the relationship and the smaller dude is the ‘girl’ in the relationship stupid ass trope and I’m all for it. Babe is totally mama and is gonna be the best mpreg protagonist that ever hit tv, Pavel is awesome and I live for the insanity that this show has thrown onto the internet and into the QL fandom in general. Seriously, BabeCharlie are trail blazers and I applaud them. Even though Charlie can be somewhat whiny on occasion, but who isn’t, ya know? Lol!

The Sign - Ep 12
If you are a fan of The Sign and enjoyed the last episode, please do not read any further. Believe it or not, I don't want my negative opinion to affect your good mood 🤗
Okay, so I hated the finale 😆 The series ended exactly as I feared it would. With what was also the worst thing about the Last Twilight finale and why I hated CharlieBabe's relationship: namely, when one person call the shots in the relationship, makes all the decisions on their own, including the most drastic ones, and lies to the other a person "for their own good", and the series shows this as something positive and romantic. I hate these tropes, i.e. forced separations, fake deaths, making decisions for two without talking about it, and noble sacrifice without informing the other person about it. I hate showing it in a romantic light as the ultimate proof of love because it IS NOT proof of love. This only proves that 1) you don't trust the other person, 2) you don't believe that he or she is a rightful member of your relationship 3) you don't believe that you can talk to this person, that this person will help you, advise you, support you 4) you subconsciously question their intellectual and emotional abilities 5) you think that this person needs to be babied and you are the only adult in this relationship 6) this person does not deserve to make a decision in their OWN CASE, their OWN LIFE. Tharn decided to "save" Phaya and grandma by leaving with Chalathorn, he made the decision thinking what was best for them, but never considering IF THEY WANTED IT. The sight of grandma fainting, and later clutching her heart and losing strength as Phaya cries in the hospital scene, the sight of Phaya's utter despair as he is unable to function normally, go to work, live, who spends every waking moment looking for Tharn - yes, THIS is it the "life" that Tharn had so nobly sacrificed for. THARN NEVER EVEN THOUGHT TO ASK PHAYA AND GRANDMA IF THAT'S WHAT THEY WANTED. HE MADE THE DECISION FOR THEM, LIED TO THEM UNTIL THE LAST MOMENT AND LEFT THEM ALONE TO DEAL WITH THE CONSEQUENCES.
What I ABSOLUTELY HATE is that Tharn has NEVER even wavered in his decision, even though Phaya MANY TIMES, including on their last night, tells him, begs him not to leave him and to trust him, that Phaya will always be by his side. And I also ABSOLUTELY HATE the fact that when Tharn returns, Phaya tries to explain to him how hard it was for him, what a traumatic experience it was for him, and Tharn doesn't even let him finish. How can I support such an unequal relationship? How could I trust Tharn if I were Phaya? Our Dating Sim showed how such separations affect people's mental health. However, Lee Wan realizes this and when Shin Ki Tae breaks down, he lets him talk about his fear and then comforts him. And he doesn't shut him up.
I admit I lost it when Tharn said to Phaya and Doc "Please stop killing each other" lmao what? Are you equating your boyfriend who had to fight for his life and the guy who tries to kill him in every incarnation, including when he is still a child? What about this sick symmetry? 😆 Of course, nothing compares to the fact that Tharn stayed with Chalathorn for a whole year because he felt sorry for him, while his grandmother (the heart-clutching one, you know which one) may have had a heart attack, and both she and Phaya are in agony and losing their health ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I loved Tharn, he was my favorite character in The Sign. And in the end he became the worst.
What was really funny was that in the end, NOTHING depended on Tharn and Phaya, it was Chalathorn - a murderer, manipulator and kidnapper - who made them happy 😄 And finally, they even thanked him and Phaya promised him to take care of Tharn, as if the doctor were the father of the lovely girl, who was being given away for marriage. Just kill me now 👌 Their love turned out to be completely pointless, because everything was decided by CHALATHORN, and everything related to their relationship took place offscreen and was actually a result of coincidence. Chalathorn even gave life to Tharn, gave him his soul. Thus proving that Phaya was useless to Tharn. Amazing 👌 Their love is based on fear, death, and separations and making the same mistakes, instead of taking action together, trust, faithfulness to each other, and mutual support. In their relationship, only Phaya makes an effort, I stopped feeling Tharn's love a long time ago. Tharn has always just surrendered to what is BAD happening around him (because Tharn/Wansa always surrenders to Chalathorn, not relies on Phaya/Garuda). The worst thing is that Tharn from the beginning of the series WAS NOT LIKE THAT 😤
THE POINT OF THIS SERIES WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THAT THIS TIME PHAYA AND TAHRN WOULD OVERCOME KARMA TOGETHER. They were to break this cycle with precise instructions from the abbot. Not only did they not overcome it, but they repeated it exactly to the letter. This raises the question: what was the point of all this, if Phaya and Tharn repeated the cycle of love, despair and death and got out of it thanks to someone else's decision? Is this a series then… about Chalathorn? 😂 HOW CAN I SUPPORT THIS RELATIONSHIP AND BELIEVE IN THIS LOVE WHEN ULTIMATELY NOTHING DEPENDED ON THEM AND THEY DID NOTHING TO SAVE THEMSELVES AND SAVE THIS LOVE. Oh, by "they" I meant Tharn.
What else was weird:
how is it that Doc is suddenly so sacrificial and willing to let Tharn go when he was willing to destroy his own soul just to kill Phaya and take Tharn like 5 min ago???
where are the Chart scenes? Khem and Thongthai?
random scene with Phaya's sister and Dao who is in France? Anyone interested in this?? So there was time for THIS, but not for Chalathorn and Tharn?
The finale otherwise had no emotional impact in the most important scenes:
Tharn joined the police to solve the mystery of his father's death, Akk had his entire agenda in this matter. However, after the killer is arrested (with Chalatorn's help lol) it doesn't feel like it has any major impact on either of them
Chart almost died. He didn't even deserve a single scene with Akk, who would thank him or just talk to him (I don't care about it, just to close this thread)
Khem almost died. We only see him once more after that. He's fine 🤷‍♀️
there are no scenes of Tharn reuniting with Yai, grandmother, or even the abbot
the sex scene is boring, repetitive, with weird music at the beginning that doesn't match the mood, the sight of them kneeling on the bed with pixelated butts, their dicks touching, with their pants around their knees is nothing but ridiculous. The whole scene is overshadowed by the fact that Tharn is lying to Phaya, that he's giving him something nice before he leaves (pity fuck) and taking fond memories with him (selfish fuck), and basically we all know it's a goodbye fuck. That is, everyone knows except Phaya, who, like Babe and Mhok, is oblivious at this point and happy to have it all taken away from him by someone he loves.
Actually, the last time this show was nice was when they still called each other bolster and jellyfish 😄 Also, if I'm not mistaken, all but one of the flashbacks in this episode were from episodes 1-5, plus the sex scene from ep. 7. Because back then the series was still good and it was about PhayaTharn. How could such a perfect series fuck up so much?
What was good about the finale? Just like in Last Twilght: the hets. Thank you Yai for being there and maintaining your integrity from start to finish 💖
To sum up:
I love The Sign ep 1-5 and the pink scene
I don't like The Sign ep 8-11
I hate the finale (I won't even write about how two weeks ago the finale with an unhappy ending was shown for free for peasants, and for money you could watch the finale with a good ending lol).
Everything that was wrong with The Sign is summed up in these words:

From whatever I have heard of the novel, I have realised that novel Babe was portrayed as a dickhead who lacks braincells whereas Charlie comes off as dry, so, their romance doesn't get to me the way show CHARLIEBABE DID, it's the way babe's trauma and his trauma response is so well presented, it's the way he is not just some kind of asshole rather someone who puts up an image to protect himself and how he got out of that shell he got himself in through Charlie and how Charlie is not just a naive kind character but another character with his own trauma and how it shapes his kindness and makes him a natural caregiver and how his love for babe makes so much sense and how his love feels so genuine, his intentions feel so genuine and how in love he is...their relationship is so much better in the show where the emotional scenes deliver because it's so well balanced and how they gave each other a new life, how they love each other. Babe forgiving charlie in ep 7 made so much sense than in the novel 'cause how he understood charlie's intentions, how he is not portrayed as some stupid asshole but someone who was being manipulated by his so called best friend and how he learns everytime how much charlie loves him, it's the way charlie's intentions were so clear (like if you go to watch ep1-ep6 y'all will realise how charlie was never even trying to be evil and how he was actually keeping an eye on tony not babe), abd how inspite of being left with no choices he still apologises and offers more than just a sorry and it comes off as so genuine. This show focused so much on babecharlie through the emotional spectrum making their relationship so grounded so beautiful and so so good, like serving gay Shakespeare indeed.
