Above all, Percabeth are besties. They laugh hysterically at the weirdest or dumbest jokes and are complete crackheads together. They’re always slightly annoying to the rest of the room because they keep cracking jokes. They tease each other relentlessly BUT they’re the only ones allowed to do that! If Percy hears anybody else call Annabeth a smartass or if Annabeth hears anybody else call Percy dumb-oh, it’s over for those people. They have sleepovers. They talk shit about people(or gods!). They keep bringing up the other ones embarrassing or goofy moments. Beyond soulmates, beyond boyfriend and girlfriend, they are BEST FRIENDS. It’s what they started as, and they still are today, even if their relationship has evolved past that.
