good morning gay people in my phone. to b honest i havent posted on here in a while because my interests cycle SO rapidly i wouldnt be able to maintain any semblance of consistency. but im way more active on twitter :)

in a completely shocking (but not that shocking if you know my type) turn of events and act of developmental regression my brain has turned its attention to the almost-exactly-one-decade old movie Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and decided to fixated extremely hard and incredibly quickly on none other than sebastian stan as james buchanan "bucky" barnes! this is not too surprising to me because when i first watched CA:TWS as a young babe, only 13, i remember i found myself fascinated by the guy with the metal arm who was radiating lethal amounts of tboy swag. perhaps then he, like the larva of the tapeworm, burrowed deep into my brain, curling into an inert cyst to wait patiently until the time was right to spring forth again into my consciousness, like athena from the forehead of zeus. or maybe i forgot all about him til i saw a tweet about an "are they gay?" video about him and steve. who knows. either way i can't wait to start making shit up about him

speaking of autism have u guys seen extraordinary attorney woo. i LOVE tht show. its not in the realm of fixation i dont think but ive gotten extremely attached to woo youngwoo and lee junho and attorney jung and all of them. its very refreshing to see an autistic woman on tv, period, and much less one as nuanced and competent as youngwoo is :)

i feel in this moment very much like a couple who just found out theyre pregnant and are still in the early most fragile weeks and so are reluctant to tell anyone about it should the unthinkable happen. anyways im into witch hat atelier now

ive been periodically going back to those old hs fics i wrote and theyre so. well. there was a lot of evidence of severe mental illness. in general there was a lot of evidence of mental illness when i was a teenager. very .......... undiagnosed vibes ......... very much was not being picked up on by the adults in my life (which i am now trying to process in therapy 👍)

i dont know a lot about the midnight mass "fandom" as it were because i watched the show some 6 months after it came out so i really missed the boat on that one but i personally dont think particularly fondly of shipping riley and father paul... of course i dont really know if thats something people used to do but ive thought about it and i think the dynamic i like more is riley having a big gay crush on father paul, which paul may or may not know about, but its all incredibly one sided and its more about riley struggling with his sexuality/feelings towards men than anything else... combined with his religious guilt and all?.. that can be something so sexy
