So I just read a fic about this but I have a different idea
Sid cuts Johnny off after Laura’s death and Johnny, not wanting to be a ‘freeloader’ and asking his friends for help, turns to the streets and doesn’t tell anyone about it
Sid lies to all his friends and tells them he ran away to New York and it’s not till a couple of months later that Dutch finds Johnny on the streets and take him home
Johnny really doesn’t want to prove Sid right and keeps running away so Dutch decides to basically pay him thousand of dollars to stay and fucks him every chance he gets, after all, Johnny can’t up and leave if he’s in the middle of having his back blown out by his sugar daddy
👀👀👀👀 yesss
(My instant thought was that Dutch started working for Silver’s, who was another client of Johnny’s, and that’s why he has money to give. Timeline is a little ambiguous.)
Johnny tried to hide, making sure no one who knew him ever saw him, comforting himself with the thought that he’d be too unrecognizable, covered in dirt and malnourished, selling his body to every man that offered him a buck or ten, his throat raw and hole aching by the end of every day. He kind of…enjoys that part though; he likes that all these men, sometimes married, go out and find him, want him, tell him they’d leave their wives for them, put a ring on him, and give him everything he needed—of course Johnny never took them up on the offer, but it was fun to play along sometimes. He hated thinking about the women at home waiting for their husbands, but he needed money.
Turns out that his past training comes in handy for a job like that. He was still flexible, unable to get as easily into a split as he could before, but still very flexible, able to get his pressed to either side of him on a dingy motel mattress no problem. He also had a habit of sneaking some extra cash out of their wallets; who cares? Most of them are a waste of oxygen and don't deserve the money anyway.
Then Mr. Silver came along. Johnny must admit, he was a little frightened of the man at first; he clearly had power and money. He came in a limo, smoke seeping from the window as it was lowered. Rich men were the roughest and most sadistic. Or the opposite, and liked to be degraded by someone "lesser" than them.
He walked up to the door, putting a hand on the car and leaning down, glad he smoked enough in high school to not be coughing up a long; that’d lose him a client…usually. He waited for Silver to speak first. One thing he learned is that these men like it when you let them lead, it makes them feel like you weren’t always gonna try and charge them 30 bucks for a 1 minute make-out session and another 50 for sweet talk.
But he seemed nice, and he was handsome. Johnny has always been a sucker for danger. He greeted Johnny easily, offering him $100 up front to get in the car and ordering his driver to step out and open the door for Johnny. It felt nice, it had been a long time since he was treated with any semblance of respect.
Johnny felt eager to get in the vehicle, scooting close to Silver and putting a hand on his thigh, looking up at him through golden lashes. He’s been told his eyes make him look weak, innocent; guys like that.
Silver didn’t fuck him in the limo, but Johnny left his mansion with a limp and the corner of his lips red.
Silver told him he’d take him out, gave him modest clothes, and took him to McDonald’s. He bought him whatever he wanted, like it was a reward or comfort added to the filthy money. But Johnny didn’t care; he was hungry and lonely, and Silver thankfullly didn’t say anything when he started crying over his food. The last time he'd went to McDonald’s was with Tommy. He remembered every detail: Tommy ordered a cheeseburger and a large coke, and he was wearing one of those striped shirts he liked so much—pastel white, pink, and blue. He remembers the way the fluorescent light shined on Tommy’s thinning hair. He remembered thinking Tommy’s smile was his favorite. Tommy's voice made him feel twelve years old with his very first friends again. He was so tired that day, and Johnny couldn’t figure out why, but he still joked. Now he’s in a hospital, probably thinking Johnny abandoned him. The tables were different; everything was.
Silver offered Johnny a bed for the night and breakfast in the morning, and Johnny said no. He slept at Motel 6, holding the extra pillow in his arms the entire night.
In his dreams, he and the cobras get that apartment they promised to rent together, and they’re happy. The shouting is of joy, and the sounds of footsteps aren’t so scary anymore. All his friends are shielding him again.
Dutch had loved Johnny since high school and never stopped. He had a lot of competitors back then—italian slips of paper hoping to shove their stupid big dicks into Johnny and making Dutch want to punch their lights out—but the main ones were the other cobras. He’s still sure to this day that they felt the same way about their leader as he did. There was a reason they were so loyal: Tommy looked at him like the sun shone out his ass, and Bobby was so lenient with him even when he chided others. but all of them got it, all of them understood.
He’s told Johnny everything because he always pictured him in his future— gold gray hair and summer days. Sitting at their dining table, it would be small, so Johnny wasn’t reminded of the dining table he was always lectured and degraded at. The cloth Dutch’s grandma made on top. He can picture how the fabric would look under his and Johnny's held hands, he can picture the bands on their fingers.
He was in jail when Johnny "moved to New York". And It was hell not knowing what happened. Before that, Johnny had been visiting him, not super often but when he was able, but he’d frequently send him letters, long letters in Johnny’s surprisingly neat handwriting, all about what he’d been doing that week, whether he had gone to a concert or had a fight with Sid, he’d always tell Dutch. Sometimes they even smelled like the soap Johnny used, which made Dutch hope Johnny slept with them under his pillow before sending them. The other inmates teased him relentlessly about his "girlfriend", some even having the audacity to snatch one of the letters out of Dutch’s hands and read it; that dude got a concussion. That doesn’t even compare to when Johnny first visited him in jail. Johnny wasn't really dressed up, just had a hoodie and some jeans on, but that didn’t stop them from staring at him; their wants sickeningly clear. Then Johnny would press the tip of his shoes against his under the table and tell him he couldn’t wait to have him back, and suddenly Dutch wasn’t thinking about anyone else.
Dutch didn’t want to be away anymore. He didn't want to keep landing in jail and disappointing the cobras—the only ones he gave a shit about. And he didn’t want to keep leaving Johnny alone. Why did he always come back beaten and skinnier than before? Where were the others?
He’d been panicking when Johnny stopped showing up. He thought he’d for sure messed things up or that something terrible had happened because he wasn’t there to stop it, and he couldn’t stop picturing Johnny getting jumped somewhere and calling out for him. Would he call out for him? Does he know Dutch would help him?
After a few weeks, he called Jimmy to ask if Johnny was alright, he didn’t expect him to say Johnny ran off to New York. He didn’t believe it either
He stayed on his very best behavior, even letting himself get beat up, just so he could get out as quickly as possible and figure out what was really going on. It took too long, but he made it out, got a job from this nice fella with a ponytail, and started looking.
Apparentally, the other cobras had been suspicious too but were so busy with everything they hadn’t been able to look. Bobby had even convinced himself that maybe Johnny did run away; Dutch told him he was just being selfish and lying to himself so he didn’t have to face his own worries. Bobby didn’t deny it.
Sid was no help at all, insisting with a smile that Johnny left and sticking to it. Dutch got thrown out when he didn't give in to the bullshit.
When Dutch found Johnny again, it had been after a long day of trying to find clues, and he felt like one of those brooding detectives in those crime shows Johnny and Bobby loved so much. It’s so tiring to search and come up with nothing; it’s so hope-draining. He needed a drink, and on the way to the bar, he spotted that familiar face. Johnny looked different—somehow even skinnier than the last time Dutch saw him. Dutch couldn’t get over there fast enough. He parked his car and ran over there.
"johnny!"
Johnny had turned to him, eyes wide. "Oh my god. What are you doing here? I—You got out?"
Is he disappointed? Are those other makeup-covered faces his new friends?
"I told you I’d get out this time. I even got a good job! I’ve been looking everywhere for you, Johnny. Why is your stepdad telling everyone you moved? What happened?"
Johnny looked down, shoulders slouched. "We got into another fight after…" he swallowed, "after mom died, and he kicked me out."
Dutch felt his stomach tighten. He wishes he could have been there. "Where are you staying?"
Johnny sniffled, rubbing his eyelid and smearing up his mascara. "Different places."
Dutch knows what that means: "I’m homeless."
He knows from personal experience.
"Will you come to my place then? I’ve got weed and Monoply waiting for us."
Johnny picked at his nails. "You aren’t mad at me?"
Dutch tilted his head, brows creased. "Why the hell would I be mad at you?"
"Because I disappeared. I didn’t call. I mean, I don’t get paid a lot of quarters, just cash."
Dutch pauses for a moment, looking at their surroundings and the other people near them, who are also underdressed like Johnny and tired looking. He looks at the marks on Johnny's thighs and the rest of him. It clicks. He won’t say anything, not yet.
"When was the last time I got pissed at you, John? Sure. I get irritated a lot, but rarely with you."
Johnny nods; he can’t deny that. He doesn’t want to. Dutch grabs his hand carefully. "Will you come over like old times?"
"Yeah, okay."
It was the best night either of them had had in months. They didn’t talk about the time missed or the difference in them that it brought yet; they gave themselves over and lived in the past for the night.
Dutch didn’t want him to live. Never wanted him to go back to "work" again. Johnny didn’t either, he was honest about that, but he kept repeating that he refused to be a freeloader and refused to use Dutch like that. Dutch can’t believe Johnny can’t see how he’s helped him change for the better and how this love that’s been raging in him for years is the biggest reason he has money now.
He practically begged him to stay; there’s space for him on the couch, there’s space for him on Dutch’s bed—a spot for him everywhere Dutch goes.
He told Johnny to at least stay while he looked for a better job, that he really didn’t have to pay. Johnny told him he’d have to think about it and went to take a shower.
In that time, Dutch mulled over the idea he had in his head the second Johnny brought up being a freeloader: he could pay Dutch by dating him.
He felt creepy, he’d rather Johnny not pay him anything—feel right at home. But he’s been doing it with all those countless other guys, and Dutch would just…make the payments few and far between—no matter how badly he wants it more.
Dutch focused on the dripping ends of Johnny’s hair as he brought up his idea.
"I didn’t know you liked me like that." I love you. "But I think it’s a good deal."
He cupped Dutch’s face in his hands, looking over his features. "Do you want me to kiss you?"
Dutch pulled him in instead of answering, kissing him until he couldn’t anymore. "Stay."
Johnny stayed. Now he’s bouncing in Dutch’s lap, mewling shamelessly as Dutch’s cock hits his sweet spot over and over again, arching when Dutch grabs a handful of his ample ass, his other hand groping at Johnny’s pec.
"Fuck. Always loved your cute little tits, babe. Used to get so hard when you’d walk around without a shirt." Johnny whines, hole clenching like a vice around Dutch. "God, swear I had blue balls every day back then—fuck. I used to imagine how tight your ass would be too, and it’s so fucking tight—can’t get enough. You got me addicted, sweetheart. Even before I had it."
Johnny stares down at him. "So—ah!—so why didn’t you do something about it, huh? Coulda' wrestled me to the ground and pounded me, I would have loved it."
He’s suddenly thrown on his back, his wrists pinned firmly to the mattress. His hole spasms when Dutch brutally plunges right back in, giving Johnny no time to adjust as he starts up his hard, fast pace once more. No mercy. Johnny’s eyes roll back.
"Quite bein’ a bitch."
He tests Dutch’s grip; no budge.
He really can’t stop the pleased noise that comes from him.
Dutch grins, sweat glistening on his face. "Yeah. That’s right. You can’t get away from me, Lawrence."
You’re all mine now, he wants to say, but there’s a 50/50 chance that Johnny will like it or punch him right in the mouth. Dutch has always wanted him.
Johnny crosses his ankles behind Dutch’s back, relaxing against the bed with a glazed look in his eyes that he only got when Dutch did something about that attitude. "You’ve always been so strong."
"And you’ve always been so fucking hot, John. Like a damn dream."
"You dream about me?"
I have for years. I dream of being allowed to love you. "Yeah, I do. Dream about your sweet ass."
Dutch lets go of his wrists, wrapping his strong arms around Johnny’s waist and holding him as he ruts faster.
"I‘ve dreamed of you too. Heard you fucked good and couldn’t stop thinking about it." He throws an arm around Dutch’s shoulders and runs his fingers through that thick hair, kissing his cheek. Dutch has always had chubby cheeks. Reminds Johnny of a squirrel—adorable.
He can’t know about Silver; Johnny can’t lose Dutch again, not like all the others.

hitmen au, silverlaw, lawrusso (in johnnys imagination)
Daniel was staring at him again. Johnny never let on that he knew. He liked that Daniel looked at him. He wasn't sure if Terry knew. If he did, he never brought it up.
They were at a bar, in a booth, Johnny had been pressed up into Terry's side as he stroked Johnny's hair.
Beneath the polite conversation, Johnny could sense tension and awkwardness. Despite the years long partnership, Terry and Daniel did not socialize outside of a job. Johnny had come with them this time and wanted a drink afterwards, after he sucked Terry off in the car.
Terry made Daniel get rid of the body himself, wrapping it up and pushing it off a bridge.
Terry's phone had rang and of course he had to take it. It was his day job, and he gave Johnny a peck on the lips before heading outside, leaving the two of them alone. Neither if them said anything; Johnny busied himself with his Coors while Daniel's brown eyes bore into him.
Daniel broke the silence. "He's a busy man."
"Yeah. He is. It's... never mind."
"What? Tell me." Daniel reached across the table and touched Johnny's hand.
"He... I wish he paid more attention to me. Sometimes I think he cares more about work and, you know, work, more than he does me."
"I'm sure that... I don't think that's true. He..." Johnny noticed his jaw clench. "He loves you. Always talking about you." He smiled, but it looked strained
He's really cute, Johnny thought. He imagined taking Daniel's hand and bolting out of the bar, getting into Daniel's car. Johnny imagined keeping his cock warm as he drove to Johnny's apartment, Daniel carrying him through the door and throwing him onto the bed. He imagined Daniel ripping Johnny's clothes off and forcing his knees to his chest, keeping his own clothes on, only pushing his jeans and boxers down enough to take his cock out, spitting on it and pushing inside Johnny's pussy. He imagined Daniel kissing him softly, petting his hair and whispering dirty and sweet things into his ear as he fucked him.
Terry came back, throwing an arm around Johnny and kissing his cheek.
"I miss anything?" he asked, squeezing Johnny's shoulder.
"Nope," Johnny replied, looking at Daniel, who was looking at his martini. "Not a thing."

so some overall things that i do take away from s5 (in the sense that im clawing them to me and going “im going to make these have meaning!”)
- the progressively more dishevelled and distraught daniel throughout the first half of the season, up to and including the beat down he gets from silver
- on the opposite side of that the way silver kept popping up like he was a ghost or could read the main characters’ minds, making him unsettle them all further
- the way silver kept comparing cobra kai to stuff like starbucks, really outing the way he filters everything through what can be bought and sold and expanded and expanded and expanded (until he’s swallowed everything that once had meaning whole)
- also the exchange between daniel and silver about the bonsais + anytime silver non-consensually flirted at him
- sam’s dream sequence is! such a spot on way of describing her character and her conflicts! and of course tory whispering “i know who you are, princess”
- tory visiting kreese in prison and the “granddaughter”/”granddad” exchange
- the use of young!kreese during the prison fight -- think it was a neat way of allowing marty not to carry that much movement + there were a couple of blurs between reality and the self this season that i have decided to assign thematic value
- kreese’s therapy session where he’s talking with various people who have affected him in life, especially the segment with terry and the one with johnny (i accept the deep-fake used for the sake of the words! + older johnny) and tory
- the scene where johnny and daniel visit kreese to ask him for help and it seems like daniel’s going to sell out johnny’s feelings about his trauma regarding kreese and offer to give him a lawyer’s nr to get him out of prison in return, but then it just says NO MERCY MOTHERFUCKER on the note
- chozen’s whole personality! the way he trained the kids! the way he effortlessly fit himself into daniel’s side as his protector, and the way he and johnny talked in the most loving terms about their prospective difficult-moving-to-better pasts with daniel! his outfits!
- daniel dressing chozen!
- the initial back-and-forths between chozen and silver when chozen pretends to be a sensei vying for a place at his dojo and the dynamic when silver reveals he knows who chozen is and sics his sensei-hopefuls on him
- chozen and johnny yes-anding each other
- the flashback of chozen training as a kid with sato and the american soldiers
- also, the actual breakup between sam and miguel was a really neat scene, one of a few that had the kids making more adult, thought-through decisions, including the three boys agreeing that hawk should fight, the miyagi-do kids working together to “protect the eggs,” sam staying out of the fighting initially, eli being totally fine with “losing” the rigged fight because he doesn’t feel like he needs to define himself by fights anymore
- xolo cries very prettily
- jessica being amanda’s cousin/the knowledge that she introduced amanda and daniel
- little bits of sibling stuff between sam and anthony
EDIT: fuck forgot daniel limping into miyagi’s old room of course! im always there for daniel getting to talk about miyagi (and amanda describing her pre-wedding conversation with him to daniel)
ANOTHER EDIT (silverlaw edition): the scene in which johnny is all bloodied and on his knees and silver grabs him by the hair and goes off about how he never understood what kreese saw in him and says something like he’s got guts, but not a lot going on upstairs

Have you talked about Kreese inviting Silver to visit Cobra Kai before the events in TTK? Silver getting to meet a freshly 18 Johnny would be fun?
I think I have, but I sure will again.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It’s very unlikely that they wouldn’t have met before CK when Kreese was gushing to Silver about him. I usually picture him just dragging Johnny along to Silver’s place and introducing them privately, but I could totally see Kreese inviting him to the dojo so he could show Johnny off.
Johnny ends up on a much different path. Silver stops Kreese from choking him, secretly worried that his captain would accidentally break that pretty neck.
He understands Kreese’ liking to see the boy covered in blood or crying; he looks extra pretty when doing so, and Silver has pushed him to his very limits before and came out of it even prouder of Johnny—but death is a little too harsh a punishment for a single loss.
He and John have always kept each other in line—and the opposite.
Johnny seemed ashamed of himself, even under all that defensiveness; clutching his second place trophy and glassy-eyed, he was barely able to look at his friends but still brazen enough to keep his head held high and look him and Kreese in the eyes. Silver’s always enjoyed his stupid, stupid bravery.
It being abo would make it so much better too. Two big, bad alphas constantly by this lithe little omega’s side, scaring off all the guys who might’ve approached him. Maybe just to make it even more toxic, Johnny assumes that since no alphas or betas are approaching him that he’s a bad omega—and Silver is right there to assure him that he’s beautiful, a muse—and drag him deeper into their all encompassing grasp.
Tumblr media
He’d move out of his parents house so much quicker and live with Terry in that big mansion, where he has a big wardrobe of all the clothes Terry bought him and a whole room (that he doesn’t use because he always ends up sneaking into Terry’s bed—much to his delight) decorated in all his favorite things. He takes baths with Terry in that big tub constantly; he almost never gets a private bath or shower unless he demands it.
Of course he gets knocked up. How couldn’t he?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(GOOOOOOD this looks like Billy with his shorter styled hair. (eg, Greg Tolan) Now, whether that was Terry's or Johnny’s plan, who knows? Johnny is always afraid of abandonment or worse, and thought that their very own baby would keep Terry well truly chained to him. He stopped taking his birth control and wrapped his legs and arms tight around Terry the next few times he filled him up, worried that somehow Terry would know of his plan, see the excitement in his eyes.
Or maybe Terry did it on purpose, pressing in the deepest he could one of the many, many times he had Johnny trembling on his cock, pretty hole well and truly reamed around that knot as Terry spilled inside. He knew the day that he met Johnny that he had to be his forever; something that he’s never going to be willing to give up.
Tumblr media
If it were Kreese’ choice, he would have had Johnny dressed in pretty things and round with his or Terry’s child a long time ago. The boy had far too many suiters going after him.
And hey, In a different version, he had his way. (Though he’s the type of dick to take off the condom without asking, he’s lucky Johnny had already been clamping his legs tight around them so they really couldn’t pull out in time and laid face down ass up after getting filled to make sure it took.)
(Anywho: picture this last gif as Johnny smug as hell looking at Silver and Kreese because they can’t ever leave, and don’t want to.)

omg hello silverlaw collar anon here :]
The addition you made was so delicious! johnny and terry definitely have their possessive sides (mostly terry) and it works so well together. Also the mention of the engagement ring 👀
Johnny for sure is the type to see someone flirting with Terry and walk up, kiss Terry passionately, then pull away to smugly look at the other person while adjusting his collar. He also does that fake confusion and goes, “So sorry to interrupt, I didn’t know you were busy. I’ll have your drink at the bar, Terry.” then he walks away proudly, knowing Terry is pleased by that little show.
I think once Terry gets a ring on Johnny’s pretty finger he prides himself in showing it off. At some point he thinks it’s enough for Johnny to just wear the ring but Johnny insists on keeping the collar as well. Of course Terry isn’t complaining, he wants to mark the boy as his as much as possible (Johnny agrees). Johnny definitely flashes that ring around to everyone who can see, because he knows they know a ring like that could only come from a man like Terry Silver. They know he’s claimed.
Also adding to the possessiveness I think either by his own idea or Terry’s encouragement Johnny gets a tramp stamp (maybe a snake or something symbolic) and Terry never keeps his hands off it when they fuck. He can’t when it looks so good on his boys smooth pale skin.
(btw huge fan of all your writing please never hold back bc your tags and your writing in general are too good not to share)
Hi anon🫶 I’m glad you’re still here!
Johnny isn’t afraid to show off that Terry is his, as much as Terry likes to show him off. He has to make sure everyone knows. And there are always signs of him all over Terry: the cufflinks he bought Terry for his birthday, the long necklace he wears under his shirt with Johnny’s birthstone in it—custom made for their anniversary—and the bites/hickies he leaves on his man that show when Terry is wearing his polos instead of business attire.
Johnny absolutely adores his engagement ring (which has Terry’s name on the inside of it) and will take any chance to show it off. Offering his hand to anyone who wants a better look at it, and making sure to say just who put the ring on his pretty finger.
He feels so good when he’s wearing his ring and collar. It’s a good anxiety soother to reach up and feel the texture of his collar and fidget with the band on his finger (think about the fact that Terry is wearing one too.) And Terry is always so pleased when he does wear both—he’s so glad his boy proudly shows off who he belongs to.
Johnny had wanted a tattoo for a while, and another way to feel like he belonged in a way that made him feel buzzed. Terry had been thinking the same thing and heavily pushes for it
Tumblr media
Maybe something like this but smaller and lower, or maybe a snake wrapped around his hips to symbolize ownership, or maybe one of the many swords Terry has neatly hung up.
Terry brings a tattoo artist to the mansion rather than take Johnny to a shop—he feels the moment is too intimate (which is a little silly compared to what they have done in front of people, but this is almost ritualistic.) he’d tattoo Johnny himself if he had the ability, and he doesn’t want to try and botch it.
Johnny lays on his stomach with his head on Terry’s thigh, focusing on the big hand petting his head and the sound of Terry’s voice mixed with the hum of the needle.
Terry tells him how nicely it’s coming along throughout the drawing, assuring him that it’s exactly what they had pictured.
It was incredibly difficult for Terry to have to keep his hands off for the healing time, knowing Johnny had a mark he could never take off and would never want to cover, but the cling film helped with it.
He helps Johnny take care of it, washing it and rubbing the ointment on it—which were the only times Terry allowed himself to touch it.
Johnny loved it and was so impatient to start showing it off, so impatient for Terry to properly enjoy the new stamp.
The day that it was fully healed was insane.
Terry first kissed it from the start of the tattoo to the dimple on his back. Thoroughly worshipping his boy for how lovely he looks with the ink. He touches it nonstop when he’s fucking Johnny from behind or eating him out; it’s such a gift.
(And also picturing this as Joanie and fem Terry🫠)
omg thank you❤️:^) The poll I did asking if I should tone it down was a big “no” so I’ll be just doing my thing ksksksks

okay so this thing is like 2k words now but if I polish it it's gonna a clock like 5k or something. And I love stripper Johnny but he's not doing my chores so.. Here's 2k of stripper Johnny with silverlaw & russoLaw
-- Part 1/2 (warning for Silver being a crappy partner and Johnny using rude language)
So like stripper Johnny, and the club's owned by Terry Silver. So he owns Johnny too, kinda. But also, there's this one guy who keeps catching Johnny's eye, and he tips real good. Nice about keeping his hands to himself, which is more than Johnny can say for Mr. Silver. Mr. Silver’s not bsd in the sack though, he's had Johnny see stars more than once. But he makes Johnny feel like shit after, like all Johnny's good for is to be ridden hard and put away wet.
Mr. LaRusso's not like that though.
One time these drunk dudes tried it on with Johnny after one of his shows. It would've gotten real bad too, being midnight and the parking lot almost empty. Johnny's badass but two on one's never good, especially if you're bringing fists to a knife fight.
But Mr. LaRusso stepped in, and it's so stupid, Johnny knows this. But fighting side by side with him?  It's like the two of them were dancing or something. Like that ballet his mom went on about while they'd still been at Sid's. Johnny hated it, sitting in a monkey suit in a stuffy theater. But even he could admit it was something special seeing the prince toss the lady in the air, always catching her. Never letting her fall. It was like that, with Mr. LaRusso.
The only other karateka Johnny knows is Mr. Silver, and he's made it clear that he Johnny should stick to fucking instead of fighting.
But sometimes when Mr. LaRusso looks at Johnny Iike in that way… It's hard to ignore. Even if Mr. Silver wouldn't like it, like at all.
But then it works out, kinda.
He meets Mr. LaRusso at his other job over at Golf n Stuff. And it's ridiculous, because he doesn't even try to hide how into Johnny he is. Johnny's even got a stupid stuffed crane to prove it. And Mr. LaRusso's nothing like Mr. Silver in the sack - he. He kissed Johnny there, like. There. Didn't even fuck Johnny with his cock. If a man can make you see stars just with his tongue and fingers, sheesh. Johnny thinks he's gonna die when Mr. LaRusso actually fucks him.
But then Mr. Silver finds out. And Johnny hasn't even done anything wrong, he hasn't touched a single customer at Quicksilver - not Mr. LaRusso, not anyone. He's even bent over for Mr. Silver twice last week even though it was Freddy's turn this time.
He tries hard to disguise the limp, does a decent job of concealer at his neck too. He's been fucked rough before, managed working at the club after too. He can do this. It doesn't matter anyway, he's quit Quicksilver. He likes the money there, and and he can even take getting slapped around on Mr. Silver's knee once a month. But no way he gets to say what Johnny does on his own time.
Unfortunately all it takes is Mr. LaRusso playfully grabbing him by the scruff. Johnny flinches when his fingers accidentally dig into where Mr. Silver bit him.
It kind of goes to hell after that. Mr. LaRusso drives Johnny back to his crappy apartment in Reseda, makes him soak in his tiny tub and looks over every bruise. Johnny even has to suffer being looked over by his friend Dr. Norouzi.
So of course that's when Mr. Silver breaks his door down, ripping up the note Johnny left saying that he quit. He looks over Dr. Norouzi and Mr. LaRusso, and then at Johnny - sat in his tighty whities covered in neosporin and bandaid.
He sneers at Johnny, and looks at Mr. LaRusso like he's shit on his shoe. Tells him to stay away from Johnny if he knows what's good for him, and. And.
Johnny keeps it in, he's not a baby. But it's not fair, that he should give up Mr. LaRusso like this. His eyes are starting to burn, and he knows he should say something. Like, stand up for himself. But then he'll do something stupid like cry.
Mr. Silver sees it, of course he does. He smiles his shark like grin, looks at Johnny like they've been having a conversation, goes, "See you Sunday, John-boy."
And Johnny's words are stuck in his throat, what's he gonna do? Say no? Mr. Silver'll make sure his name is mud if he doesn't show up. And he likes Mr. LaRusso, but he's not gonna go to that much trouble for someone like Johnny.
But then Mr. LaRusso stands up, slides in front of Johnny and says, "No." And all three of them, Mr. Norouzi, Johnny and Mr. Silver look at him like he's nuts. Who says no to Mr. Silver?
"I don't think you know who you're talking to," Mr. Silver says. And Johnny moves to get up, to smooth it over - but Mr. LaRusso puts a hand on his shoulder. Gives him a lopsided smile, and Johnny feels like he's been tossed in the air. But also that Mr. LaRusso will catch him, won't let him fall.
"And I think you don't know who you're talking to," and Mr.LaRusso doesn't even sound mad, he just says it casual like that.
And then Johnny finds out Mr. LaRusso works for the mob. Not just the regular mob, but also for the one in Japan. Who knew there was a goddamn mob in Japan?
Quicksilver comes under new management a week later. It's crazy. Turns out that Mr. LaRusso hadn't been coming to the club for him. Well, not just for him anyway. Mr. Silver had gotten too big for his boots, messed around with the wrong people.
Johnny gets relegated to pulling drinks, Mr. LaRusso even puts a babysitter on him. Like Johnny's some sort of kid. But Chozen's cool, even if he dresses like a total fruit. It turns out he knows karate, and sometimes they spar. Johnny even managed to sweep his leg that one time. It's kinda nice.
