Got hammered last night and got over myself. Or whatever. We do what we need to get by. Slept terribly because alcohol and also I miss having a full size bed and the ability to hang a leg off the side... the bunk ladder blocks that.

Got up at 6am to go and watch Severance in the theater room (what the fuck (affectionate) was that?) and then had my sister come in during the last ten minutes wanting to watch the wiggles. At least she let me finish the episode before evicting me. I'm in the shit with my family because I thought this sister would like Severance and recommended it to her (she's like vaguely similar things in the past like Paradise, Silo, Lost). She hated it, watched two episodes and her and her fiance just keep telling me that don't get the point of the show. Which. Fine. But you can say that about any show. And then I just get dragged for being pretentious and/or academic and/or a smart pants. But as soon as I bite back (I cannot even remember what I said last night but it was along the lines of 'Maybe you're just not smart enough to get it') I'm called cruel.

I'm going to need two weeks to recover from this holiday.

We have an in-house chef coming tonight to make us a five course meal (Again, my parents definitely have too much money at this point) which should be delicious but... We also have the electrician coming in an hour to try to fix the spa...

I think everyone else (that wasn't pregnant) also got smashed last night and they don't have the tolerance I've built up. So I am kind of hoping they just stay in bed until midday and I can squirrel away and do some writing...

And I am finally getting home from work. We got smashed tonight, it was insane, a whole bus load of people came in for dinner and we were full.. no more seats all all. I coped really well, another server got stressed and wasn't communicating which led to a few mistakes on my end but nothing big at all. When I get home from work it takes me 1 - 2 hours to actually get to sleep (it drives me flipin nuts) and I know Joel will be awake at 7 to go to the gym and his noise will wake me up. Sighhhhh.. at least I have a 12-8 shift tomorrow and can head to bed early :) 3 weeks left 😭😭😭😭😭
