È facilissimo prendere un video a caso e ricamarci qualcosa sopra, sostenendo chissà che teoria come fanno altri personaggi tristemente noti nel mondo del web. Poche ore dopo lo stesso Tommasi, compreso l’errore, pubblica un post di scuse:

CHIEDO SCUSA Un paio d’ore fa ho pubblicato – in forma critica – un video dove si vede una bambina americana esultare perché i genitori le hanno appena regalato un fucile Beretta. Io sono pacifista, e penso che armi e bambini non dovrebbero mai incrociarsi. Però non sono stupido, e chiedo scusa a tutti coloro che, sportivamente, praticano tiro al piattello (o similare). Non ce l’avevo con loro e mi dispiace di aver creato, evidentemente per colpa mia, questo fraintendimento. Scusate ancora. Saverio

C’è un problema, infatti contesto questa soluzione optata da Tommasi. Le scuse le doveva inserire all’inizio dell post del video (modificandolo, è semplice e si può fare) perché purtroppo, come spesso accade, continuerà a diffondersi con la disinformazione che si porta addosso (difficilmente l’utente troverà tra i commenti o tra i post della sua pagina quel messaggio). Basta vedere qualche recente condivisione (di pochi minuti fa, proprio mentre scrivo questo articolo) di qualche utente indignato:
