Derek  moved  slowly  through  the  halls  of  the  school,  wincing  as  his  injured  arm  was  jostled  by  students  rushing  around  at the end of the day.  The  wound  he  had  received  the  previous  night  was  only  getting  worse  –  when  he  had  seen  the  black  veins  stretching  out  around  the  bullet  hole  there  was  no  doubt  that  it  was  laced  with  wolfsbane.  He  needed  to  find  Scott.

His  head  lifted  at  a  familiar  scent.  The  Argent  girl  –  Scott’s  little  girlfriend.  He  had  given  her  a  lift  home  that  one  time  before  he  knew  who  she  was.  Allison  was  standing  at  her  locker,  rummaging  around  in  its  contents.  She  was  on  the  list  of  people  he  would  never  want  to  turn  to  for  help,  due  to  her  bloodline  alone,  but  he  could  feel  the  warm,  wet  slide  of  blood  running  down  his  arm.  Time  was  of  the  essence.  The  Argents  had  access  to  many  strains  of  wolfsbane,  if  it  was  a  rare  variety  who  knew  how  long  he  had  left.

The  wolf  staggered  over,  jaw  clenched.  "Where  is  Scott  McCall."

her hair is messy and there is a definite stench of alcohol on her breath . she could probably use a shower but she can barely speak much less walk . and so she has fallen into the bed at the hotel , the plush covers coming up around her . she giggles at the girl - fighting the truth in the brunette's words . ' i'm never alone for long . ' she slurs , staring at the ceiling . ' come . . stay . ' she's also never one to turn down a friend . especially when she has so few these days .

“You know, barking orders at me may be hot but it’s actually really back for my psyche and my masculinity and my ego and all those things that make me me.” Even as he was complaining about being told what to do, Stiles was turning the locks on the inside of the door. He even went so far as to make sure the blinds were closed… though he did peek out of them first. Which was kind of counterproductive. “You think they know where we went?”

cora  shrugs  her  shoulders  and  leans  back  as  she  looks  at  allison.  she  hasn't  spent  a  lot  of  time  with  people  outside  of  her  core  group.  the  hales  had  always  kept  to  themselves,  and  then  when  the  fire  happened?  cora  fled.  she'd  been  away  from  beacon  hills  for  so  long  that  she  didn't  really  know  anyone  who  was  there.  ❝  because  you're  human,  probably.  ❞  cora  pointed  out.  it's  true  that  allison  is  one  of  the  only  humans  in  their  friend  group,  and  of  course  supernaturals  are  going  to  be  a  bit  more  .  .  .  graceful.  ❝  and  you're  not  the  only  one  who  does  that  .  .  .  stiles  does  that  all  the  time.  ❞

being around the huntress more and more shouldn’t have had the effect it had on him, should it? the constant wanting to be around her. being sure she was safe. allison could take care of herself - that much had proven true time and time again.

and the way he felt around her? he wanted to always feel like that. it had started with a pillow fight. both stiles and allison ending up panting on his bed when allison had spoken up. he flailed just slightly as he moved to pin her down in response, lips hovering just above hers. he should have responded. should have said how much of a bad idea this was. but instead his lips found solace on hers, kissing her almost hesitantly but with meaning.

[ STAYING ]  receiver is carrying sender to bed because they fell asleep somewhere else but when they start to walk away,  sender grabs their hand so receiver joins them in bed. { allison for nahuel }

she was a lot tougher than the other humans he knew . of course , he never knew many of them . he was different by nature , a stranger who was not quite in the vampire world but not quite in the mortal one beyond it either . he spent most of his time with his aunt hulien - living by nightfall and moving around before they could make any ties to the place they visited . sometimes he felt like a ghost just wandering this world . hulien had been good to him but even they did not always seem to fit . he longed to find his place in this world , but he would never admit it . allison had been something of a surprise to him . she had been indoctrinated to this world of monsters and things that go bump in the night before meeting him and had known immediately what he was . by all means she should have wished ill to him - she was a hunter after all and he was not so different from the wolves she went after . but somehow they had found common ground and over time he had grown to care for her . in a way that scared him .  they had been hanging out together at his house . he was renting it for awhile - having decided to stay here in beacon hills and let hulien leave . she had told him he was foolish to do this but his curiosity for this girl hunter had overwhelmed him . he wasn't sure if he should wake her and take her home but she looked so peaceful he had carried her to his bed instead - having been stopped by her hand and a simple request . he hesitated but only for a moment . before he could stop himself or think anything logical against his actions he had climbed in beside her , not bothering with a blanket for himself . ' shh , you can sleep now . ' he whispers against her hair as he pulls her close hesitantly and loosely - in case she wants to move away .
