ok my favourite mary oliver is wild geese and my favourite richard siken is snow and dirty rain and i wholeheartedly like both poets and i do dislike the cynicism i see popping up from time to time. i think that it is far too easy to say people who like xyz are annoying or [other trait here] and it can be funny but ultimately there's reasons why things resonate and not everyone is obliged to agree but if it's good then it's good and to some extent this is directed towards myself and past self consciousness that discussing idk siken places me as a tumblr gay person or that being a phoebe bridgers listener sally rooney enjoyer tote bag user makes me irritating when i'm actually i'm irritating for other reasons and that's fine. this started to turn incoherent so i will hit post now but yes i guess what i mean is i am nothing if not embarrassingly earnest
