ive been working on one of my books on and off since 2017 but if i were to get it published and they came up to me asking if i had any outlines for a map or anything i would have to say "absolutely not sorry you can do whatever you want"

#it is set in one city and everything is as close or as far as it needs to be #mind you i did some mental worldbuilding about where things are relative to one another! it sits on a river! the city has been expanding fo #for years*!#but there is exactly 1 named plot-relevant street #and everything else is *handwave* ‟xyz area/district‟#im a big believer in not letting your worldbuilding hold a good story back #which means im a believer in making things like a map being the last thing possible unless it is very very important #and thus far my only useful maps have been continent-levels where i drew a random amount of lines along vague divides for provinces #simply as a springboard to then brainstorm the different segments of people #im getting off topic i love working on stuff #writing rambling
