One thing left to try
Tumblr media
request: Could you pls write a fic with sinan? Using prompts 13,15,22,29 and 34 from the first list. I thought of maybe At a party y/n needs Sinan's help, so that Burak stops chasing her, so he pretends to be her partner, when Burak doesn't leave her alone, Sinan starts a fight. Thanks!
tag list: @peraltwolf @zaynlikfalls @wwafangirld
prompts used: 13. Don't look at me like that. 15. Just pretend to be my date. 22. You're not my friend anymore, remember? 29. Where did you get those bruises? 34. I'm used to it, don't worry.
"Işik, are you sure you're ready for a high school party?" You asked slowly, your arm wrapped around the blonde girl who held tightly her purse.
Eda next to you chuckled. "You're ready for alcohol? And for people making out with each other? And the smell of cigarettes everywhere?"
"There's nothing to worry about." Isik cut you both off shaking her head. "I'm only here because Osman asked us to come. And nothing bad will happen, they're our classmates."
Eda shrugged. "I'm here for the free booze."
You rolled your eyes with a smile, fixing a bit your skirt while you reached the house where the party was taking place.
"Should we wait for the guys?" You asked glancing at all the cars that were parked in almost the whole block, internally hoping to see one boy in particular.
You stood on your tiptoes trying to recognize any of them, already knowing that Kerem was coming with Osman with his own car.
"Nah." Eda brushed it off. "I bet Sinan isn't even coming, and it's already crowded inside."
You were slightly discouraged. You didn’t want one boy to control your whole mood without truly knowing, but you couldn’t avoid feeling that way towards him. You two had been friends for a while before you got closer with the whole expulsion thing. The girls already knew about your feelings for Sinan, but you wouldn’t risk ruining one of your friendships only because of a crush.
"Are you sure?" Işik asked a bit worried, but you were already opening the door without knocking.
You three were instantly greeted by loud music and people everywhere. The walls seemed to shake from the heavy bass blasting through the speakers, hurting your ears but you tried not to mind.
You turned to Işik with a smile. "So? What do you think?"
She opened her mouth to speak, with no words coming out as she looked around the house. You chuckled lightly. "Anyway, I'll grab something to drink. What do you want?"
"A soda, please."
"Beer. We'll...walk around until the boys show up, okay?" Eda said over the music.
You nodded before walking away, greeting a few people and trying not to bump into the many couples who were shoved up against the wall making out or the kids who were too drunk to properly walk.
“You’re no fun, (Y/N).” Eda complained with a huff.
You only took a sip of your soda. "I'm plenty of fun, in fact, I...oh shit."
Before you could notice that Işik was waving at the guys who had just arrived to come over at your place near the kitchen counter, you had already left the room trying not to run into Burak.
You two had talked a few times because you were in the same school year, but since Eda had turned him down, he seemed to be keen on going on a date with you. You wanted to avoid confrontation the best you could, already knowing that when the whole thing with Eda happened, he hadn't reacted well.
So, that was the reason why you were making your way between the crowd of people with one hand covering your can of soda trying to hide from him. The house was crowded, with almost your whole school inside. You weren't even sure whose birthday it was, only receiving the invitation from Osman who had a few extra, giving the rest to your other friends.
Once you found herself outside in the small garden, you allowed yourself to catch a breath. There were only a few people mingling outside, but a hand on your upper back startled you.
You cursed under your breath, almost spilling your soda. "God, you scared me."
Sinan rolled his eyes with an already opened beer in his hand which didn't surprise you. "You okay? I saw you storm off."
You shrugged. "Yeah, I'm fine. I thought you wouldn't come."
He furrowed his brows slightly. "Why?"
You shrugged, tugging on his arm so you could sit down on the steps leading to the garden, trying your best that your skirt wouldn't ride up. "You hate high school parties."
"What's to like from annoying music and people I can't stand being around?" He asked sarcastically making you chuckle. "I was dreading this, but Osman needed us here." He concluded before taking a long sip of his beer.
You nodded. "Yeah, I can't believe we convinced Işik. But it's not that bad."
He glanced at you, absentmindedly fumbling with his hands while you continued sipping on your soda. "You look nice."
It was no secret around your friends how much Sinan adored you. You were the only one he never snapped at unless he was really angry, but he usually kept his emotions at bay. Everybody noticed how his mood changed around you. Everybody but you, not thinking much about how he always seemed to have a faint smile when you were in the same room or how he truly appreciated that you went out of your way to talk to him at least once every day.
You gave him a side smile. "Thanks." You eyed him up and down, wearing his usual grey shirt, black jeans, and combat boots. "You don't look that bad either."
After a few minutes passed and it started to get cold, he nudged you. "Wanna go back inside?"
"Um..." You trailed off even if you truly wanted to go back with the rest. "I'm fine, you go ahead if you want. I'll catch up with you."
He furrowed his brows. "Are you sure you're fine? You seemed pretty upset before." He doubted for a moment while you looked down at the floor. "If you want to leave, we..."
"No." You interrupted shaking your head.
You certainly didn't want to leave. But you knew you couldn't avoid Burak all night, and if you ran into him you would end up snapping at him.
An idea popped into your head, remembering how Burak had left Eda alone when Kerem faked being his boyfriend. "I mean...can you do me a favor?"
It was risky to ask him, but Kerem was already dating Eda and Osman was busy with his business, the main reason why you all were there. And it was only a simple favor, you could hide your true feelings like you had the past weeks.
He shrugged, taking another sip of his beer. "What?"
You gave him a grin trying to convince him to follow your plan. "Can you pretend to be my boyfriend? Please."
He almost choked on his beer, coughing a bit while looking at you with utter confusion. "What the hell?"
"Burak has been annoying me all week and this is the only way he'll leave me alone. Please, Sinan. Just pretend to be my date." You continued, giving him your softest puppy eyes.
He scoffed, looking away to avoid your look. "Don't look at me like that." He mumbled.
"Like what?" You played dumb, continuing looking at him like that so he'd give in.
"Like you've never broken a plate in your whole life." He replied sarcastically. "Why don't you just tell him to fuck off?"
You rolled your eyes. "I've already tried to. Come on, it's only one night. I would do the same for you." You practically begged him.
You expected him to get up and leave, saying that your plan was crazy and didn't have any probability of going right. However, after a few seconds, he sighed and gulped down most of his beer, leaving the empty can next to him. "Fine."
While you smiled and mentally cheered, he turned to you. "What do you need me to do?"
"Improvise." You said like it was obvious. "Just um, flirt with me and act like I'm your girlfriend. It can't be that hard."
Noticing that he still seemed unsure of everything and wasn't really sure of what to do, you continued. "Look, from now on, we aren't friends, we're in a relationship. So, just act like I’d believe everything and lie to me."
He thought about it for a few seconds before nodding, getting up from his spot, and extending his hand to help you get up. When Sinan's fingers skimmed over your wrist gently, you rolled your eyes and grabbed his hand tightly.
"You're not my friend anymore, remember?" You teased before dragging him inside the house.
The stares you two received while walking straight to the kitchen were enough to tell you that you had made the right decision. Out of the corner of your eye, you could see Burak staring at you intensely ignoring whatever one of his friends was blabbering on about to him. You could feel that Sinan also noticed that, pulling you closer to him by wrapping an arm around your waist. You almost shivered once you felt his cold hand on the small spot of skin just above your skirt, but you didn't think much about the sparks that ignited at the skin on skin contact.
Once you two reached the kitchen, you grabbed a beer and a soda, handing the alcohol beverage to Sinan who quickly downed it while you sat on the counter, your hands still intertwined.
Eda quickly joined you two. "There you are!" She grinned at you, clearly already a bit tipsy. "Aw, you're holding hands, did you tell him?" She gushed to you, loud enough for him to hear.
You chuckled awkwardly, disconnecting your hands while covering the girl's mouth. "Yes, I told him about Burak." You gritted out, already sure that your cheeks had to be red. "You're already wasted, don't do anything I wouldn’t do." You grinned playfully at the boy, receiving a timid smile from him.
"So you guys are dating now." Eda continued leaning against the counter, a smirk on her face. "That's cool."
"I'll take care of her." Sinan offered, already annoyed with her.
After a few seconds, you nodded, leaving your spot on the counter once you noticed Işik nearby, your eyes lighting up. "Işik, let's dance!"
You weren't sure how many hours had passed that you had been dancing with Kerem and Osman, but after a while, your legs ached from twirling around Işik, so you walked away from the living room to the hallway where there weren't many people.
"(Y/N)!"
A voice calling you out made you stop dead in your tracks, turning around with a fake smile plastered on your face even if you were internally gagging.
"Burak, I didn't see you before." You greeted him, continuing to walk towards the kitchen.
He just followed you, making you roll your eyes when he wasn't staring at you. "You look pretty."
"Mhm." Was all you replied, looking through the fridge to find at least a bottle of water, already knowing that if you left Sinan and Eda alone they had downed at least five more beers each one.
"Here, let me help you with that." He offered as you struggled with four bottles of water.
"I'm fine." You cut him off with confidence. "I've got it, and my friends and boyfriend are waiting for me, so..." You trailed off.
Taking to your advantage the fact that he was too shocked to say anything else, you managed to escape, making a beeline to were your friends were standing in a corner of the room.
"Here you go." You said handing a bottle to Işik, Eda, and Sinan. "I figured it would help if you have a migraine." You explained standing next to Sinan.
He nodded, a faint smile on his face as you wrapped an arm around his shoulders. Osman left after saying he had to do something, and you soon found yourself alone with the boy again after Işik said she was going to the bathroom and Eda dragged Kerem to dance with her.
You sipped absentmindedly on your water. "Thanks for everything, I owe you one."
He shrugged, clearly not bothered by it but you weren't sure if it was because of his emotionless attitude or something else.
Once you'd finished your water, you turned to him. "Come, let's dance."
"No, (Y/N)." He refused immediately shaking his head.
"Sinan, I'm not going to leave you here alone." You persisted, continuing to pull him by his hand.
He wouldn't budge. "I'm already here, dancing crosses the line."
"You can't only come and drink everything that's alcohol."
"I..."
"Not much of a boyfriend, huh?"
Burak's teasing voice made you stop abruptly, glancing at Sinan who only looked at him with a hard stare.
"I'm just saying, I wouldn't leave (Y/N) alone if she was my girl." He continued.
"Well, she isn't yours." Sinan snapped, trying to appear unbothered by him but with a scowl on his face.
You tugged in his arm. "Sinan, let's leave."
"What are you even doing here?" Burak asked sarcastically. "You hate everybody, I'm sure she convinced you to come. Too bad, who knows what could happen to her here..."
You knew those were just empty threats, so while you scoffed and tried to tug him to leave, Sinan only pushed you behind him slightly, making you release your grip on his arm.
"If you even touch a hair on her head I..." Sinan began with his hands balled into a fist.
"Sinan, please. Just cut it off." You tried to argue.
Nevertheless, you already knew he wouldn't listen. He was furious, his jaw clenched, stormy eyes and sending daggers to the boy in front of him.
Burak only snickered. “Tell me, I want to know.” He taunted, getting right into his face. “What are you going to do about it? You’re just going to let me continue flirting with her?”
You rolled your eyes. “Fuck off.”
“Maybe if you relied more on mental strength instead of muscular strength you would have gotten a chance.” Sinan shot back sarcastically.
Burak shoved him, lifting his fist in the air but before he could even punch him, Sinan tackled him into the ground to punch him. You froze, watching how Sinan’s fist hit Burak over and over again until Burak punched his side, making him lose his breath before he pulled Sinan in a chokehold.
“Stop! Stop it, you guys, stop it!” You tried to move towards them to break them apart, stopping once a pair of arms wrapped around her waist.
“Stay out of it,” Osman advised, his eyes staring sullenly at the fight. “You’re only going to get yourself hurt. Işik, hold her.” He called out.
“What’s going on?” The girl asked confused once Osman handed you to her, going straight at the fight to stop it. “Oh my God.” She mumbled, shock on her eyes.
Kerem and Osman broke them apart along with a few other guys. You only could gasp in surprise once you saw Sinan and his bruised cheekbone, along with the cut on his eyebrow.
“Hey, hey, come here. You’re fine.” You tried to comfort him, looping an arm around his shoulders just like Osman.
You couldn’t help but furrow your brows at how he seemed to wince while you tried to get out of the house as fast as possible, not wanting another fight to happen.
You wouldn’t let him out of your sight, so you continued with your arm wrapped around his shoulders, him not complaining but supporting almost his whole body on you.
“We’re not going to fit in.” Işik pointed out once you reached Kerem’s car.
You knew Sinan would just brush it off and say he was fine, but you wouldn’t allow him. “It’s fine, I um...we’ll take a taxi and stop by a pharmacy first. You should go first.”
Before anyone could complain, Eda, still drunk, chuckled. “You two are so cute together.”
You nodded absentmindedly, trying your best to hold Sinan who seemed to still be catching his breath. “Yeah, go and sleep in the back of the car. Take care of her.”
“We will. You take care of him.” Kerem said before getting into the car.
“Bye.”
“See ya!”
“Goodnight.”
Once they left, you sighed, a bit nervous that the boy hadn’t said a word yet. “Come, let’s sit there.”
You slowly walked towards a bench in front of a park. After a few minutes, you reappeared with a bottle of rubbing alcohol and some cotton balls after rushing to a nearby pharmacy.
“Give me your hands.” Your ordered, feeling something break inside of you while you scanned his knuckles with fresh blood and open wounds scattered across them. “Fuck.”
He only pursed his lips, his brows slightly furrowed as he tried not to show how he truly felt until he couldn’t anymore. While you continued cleaning his knuckles, a shaky cough made you stop.
You raised your brow at him. “Lift your shirt.”
He didn’t have any intentions of doing so, his eyes still staring ahead of him before he coughed again. “Sinan, do it.” You ordered again tugging at the end of his shirt.
The red bruises scattered along his abdomen made your breath hitch in the back of your throat, instantly holding your still cold bottle of water against them. “Where did you get those bruises? Oh my God.”
“When Osman held you and Burak pinned me to the ground.” He explained under your worried gaze. “I’m fine, what about you?”
You scoffed. “You aren’t fine. Drink this.”
You handed him your bottle of water, sighing once you noticed the trace of blood coming from his eyebrow, cleaning with your thumb before it reached his cheekbone.
“I’m sorry you got into a fight because of me.” You said softly, your fingers lingering on the bruise on his cheek.
You cupped his face, Sinan instantly leaning into your touch. He had thought about it before, how it would feel to be this close to you, and now it was happening.
“How was I supposed to keep calm when he said that about you?” He asked, his jaw clenching again as he remembered Burak’s words.
You brushed it off, your thumb stroking his cheek to try to comfort him with a simple gesture. “I’m used to it, don’t worry. I don’t care anymore about what he says, he’s an asshole.”
“God, don’t say that.” He furrowed his brows before swallowing. “You shouldn’t be treated like that by anyone.”
His whole body was tense and his breathing was heavy, so you tried to make him listen to you so he would forget about everything. “Hey, just...focus on me, okay?”
He used all his willpower to nod, to not go right at the house again, and continue beating Burak up. "How was the party? Everything you expected?"
"No." You bluntly stated making him chuckle. "What about you? Did you have the awful time you expected?"
He gave you a side smile. "Not really, but I'm never doing it again."
"What? Faking to be my boyfriend?" You teased rubbing your eyes, too tired to care about your mascara probably now smudged.
When he didn't answer and only stared at you with a different expression you decided to take a leap of faith.
You slowly leaned forward, closing the gap between the two you. You wrapped your arms around his neck, feeling your heart on fire while his mind raced, in disbelief that you were actually kissing him. One of his hands found the back of your head, fingers twisting in your hair as he pushed you closer to him, deepening the kiss. You felt his other hand on your lower back, just where your shirt ended.
After a few seconds, you broke apart first, your forehead leaning against his while you held his hand.
"Oh." You chuckled noticing how Sinan's poor lips were now covered in the red lipstick you were wearing and a bit swollen.
You used your thumb to clean it off, almost not noticing the small smile on his face.
"Let's get a taxi, shouldn't we?" He asked.
You nodded and stood up, the boy's arm around your waist keeping you closer to him. With your heart still beating more than usual, you couldn't help but wonder what would have happened if he had followed his instincts and hadn't come to the party.

Way too much
Tumblr media
request: could u pls write a imagine with Sinan,I was thinking about him and you being the best childhood friends, but they ended up getting away a lot, so some teacher spends a double job and chooses them to do it together, so they spend a lot of time together and discover that they still like each other
tag list: @zaynlikfalls @wwafangirld @girl-looking-out-window
If you asked Sinan if he had ever been happy he wouldn't answer. However, his mind would go back to the time when he was six and he used to spend every hour with his best friend, meeting you since you two lived in the same neighborhood and we’re the same age. You, the girl he used to play around on the park under his grandpa's care, the same one he used to watch cartoons with until you two fell asleep on his couch, and the one he used to play wrestle until one of you ended up with an accidental bloody nose or a broken tooth.
You were also each other's first kiss, the result of a dare when you two were nine and you wanted to know what it felt like after you watched a romantic movie.
Everything changed when you turned twelve when it was one of those nights your parents were out and you two would stay up late watching horror movies. With a blanket covering most of your face and eyes glued to the TV, you didn't notice how Sinan was looking at you.
When a jumpscare happened and you yelped, immediately grabbing his hand, he blushed slightly, finally realizing he was in love with you. And it terrified him. Even more than the old movie you were watching on the couch in your living room.
He felt his heart breaking when a few days later you arrived at his house on the verge of tears because your dad had received an offer for a better job in Ankara and you would be moving in some weeks. The only thing he could do was hug you, trying to calm you down as you continued crying into his shoulder.
That had to be one of the many disappointments he would face during his life, but he slowly got used to it, expecting people to always leave him, just like you did.
"You're staring." Eda pointed out, a smirk on her face as she leaned against the wall behind her. "Who are you looking at?"
Sinan gulped, back to reality before he looked away. "No one." He snapped in an annoyed tone.
Eda rolled her eyes, letting out an exasperated sigh as she went back to the drawing on the wall. He mentally cursed himself as he looked back at the group of girls standing nearby, no sign of the girl who had been his best friend for almost seven years. His mind had to be playing games on him, probably from drinking too many that day. There was no way you were at school, he must have seen someone similar.
He didn't have much time to think about it, focusing on the ticket Osman was handing to him for a concert.
"I'm off to the infirmary to sleep." He announced, already feeling a migraine he didn't have any intention of increasing.
Taking slow steps, he walked away from the group. The ticket was in his shirt's pocket, and he only had one thing in mind as he walked through the halls. To stop the feeling on the pit of his stomach after thinking about you in months and to sleep.
"Sinan!"
He didn't even get a chance to fully turn around before you crashed into him, standing on your tiptoes so you could wrap your arms around his neck. He didn't recognize you for a second, believing someone was about to punch him when he heard his name being called but he didn't even have time to flinch.
It was only a second though before his eyes widened and he wrapped his arms around your waist, finding comfort in the fact that nobody else was around and you two were the only ones standing next to the infirmary's door. Feeling you hug him again definitely was one of the best feelings in the world.
"(Y/N)?" He asked, chills running up his spine at the feeling of your skin against his.
You pulled away after a few seconds, even if you were sure the whole hug lasted for at least two minutes until he let you go. "The one and only." You teased.
You took a minute to get a good look at him, your hand still lingering on his shoulder. He looked...well, you didn't care about the bags under his eyes or the fact that his breath smelled of alcohol, the only thing that mattered was that you were with him again.
Sinan looked at you up and down too. Your hair was a bit shorter, not in your usual braids that you used to wear all the time. Your cheeks weren't as chubby as before and your legs weren't as skinny, and the small scar on your upper lip was faded almost completely, just like the one on the bridge of his nose.
But still, you were beautiful. That was undeniable.
You gave him a toothy grin, the same one you used to have all the time when you were kids. "It's so good to finally see you again. I missed you so much."
He nodded, a soft smile on his face as he looked at you, any thought about the migraine already gone. "When did you come back?"
As you started your rant about your father finding another job offer here in Istanbul and coming back a week ago, his mind couldn't help but drift off that you hadn't seen each other in years and many things had happened in between. His parents had abandoned him, he had turned into an alcoholic and he was about to be expelled. You, on the other hand, didn't know any of this, and he was sure you would look at him in disgust once you found out he wasn't the same twelve-year-old you had trusted with your whole life before.
He didn't even notice Osman calling him to meet when the rest until you tugged in his arm.
"What?" He asked emotionless turning to the taller boy.
Osman didn't seem to care, already used to his attitude. "Eda convinced Miss Burcu, we need to find a way to convince Coach Kemal."
Convincing Coach Kemal couldn't matter less to him, glancing at you because he wanted to take advantage of the fact that you still believed that he was the sweet boy who you had grew up with. It wouldn’t last for long, but he wanted to at least enjoy that time until you were disappointed.
You only gave him a reassuring smile. "Go on, I have to fix some things about my schedule but I'll see you later. We have a lot of catching up to do."
A bit less unsure than before, he nodded, giving you one last smile that lasted a second before he left, his heart pounding with so much force he didn't know how the rest couldn't feel it.
While Kerem was busy talking to their teacher, it didn't take much for him to run into you again, sharing your same classes. Even if most of the time he slept through Chemistry class without anyone bothering him, his brows furrowed as soon as he heard someone sitting next to him.
You only chuckled after waking the boy up, Sinan's face softening immediately. "Um, rough day?" You asked, not sure of what to say once you noticed the flask near his bag.
He shrugged, slowly leaving it inside his bag and taking out a notebook, trying to show that he cared about school even if he truly didn't anymore. Nevertheless, your bubbly attitude surely did something to him. It was like you two had never been separated before while the rest of your new classmates didn't understand why the new girl was hanging out with him, the depressed boy who mocked everyone.
It was to his luck that your teacher chose you two to work together on an assignment. Of course, you were happy, thinking you could make up for all the lost time and he allowed himself to feel happy too, even if he knew he'd fuck it up like he always did.
"So?" You started the next day as you two walked towards your home.
He raised a brow at you, his hands fumbling with the hem of his shirt. "So what?"
You rolled your eyes in a teasing way. "I want to know everything that happened since I left. My parents didn't tell me anything because they're busy with their new jobs and we haven't had time to talk. How are your parents?" You added, mindlessly looking at the colorful neighborhood you were walking past.
It was a loaded question and Sinan thought for a moment, waiting for you to find your keys in your bag. "They got divorced."
You almost dropped your keys in surprise, not knowing what to say like when you found him with his flask. "Oh." You mumbled, awkwardly opening the door for both of you. "I'm really sorry, I didn't know."
"It's fine." He brushed it off, not wanting things to change and be more awkward. "I've been living with my grandpa since I turned fourteen." He explained as he followed after you, taking off his shoes just like you were doing.
"How is he?" You asked with a smile, with a better mood knowing that the older man who used to take care of you two when you were younger was still alive.
"You know him, he doesn't die." He said, earning a slap to his arm.
You two ended up sitting on the floor of your room, a few books next to you, and a music cassette in the background. It felt like when you were seven, and he would trace out different pictures and you would giggle and try to bump his hand out of the way to color it in.
"What was Ankara like?" He asked as he turned the pages trying to look for something.
You continued highlighting a few phrases sitting in front of him. “Um, nice I think. I met a lot of people, went to a few parties, the school was pretty good.”
He glanced at you, absentmindedly doodling on his notebook. “Did you have fun in the city?” He asked sarcastically.
You punched his arm in a teasing way. “Yeah, but there wasn’t anyone like you.”
You only received a small smile before you sighed and moved over to sit next to him, knowing that he didn’t take notes and this was the most he had done in months.
“I have a question for you.” You told him.
“Go ahead.” He answered, still calm which was weird.
If someone else had asked him something personal he wouldn’t have answered or he would have given a sarcastic answer, but you were the one who was asking him. He could never snap at you.
You grinned at him. “How much did you miss me?”
He sighed, turning to look at you with a small sparkle on his eyes. “Way too much.”
It was in that moment with your smile that a small glimmer of hope built inside of him. It didn’t seem to bother you that he slept through most lessons, or that he showed up at school with messy hair and his tie undone, or that he always had his flask close to him. He hadn’t even taken a sip since you approached him that day so you two could go to your house.
“I tried to write to you.” He started, eyes directed to the floor so he didn’t have to meet your eyes. “My mum gave me your new address but...I always ended up crumpling them up and throwing them away.”
When you left, he used to write a letter every day, always trying to find the right words to express how much he missed you and to express his true feelings whenever he thought about you. It helped a bit to pour out all the feelings he didn’t know how to tell you in person, but out of fear of rejection or of ruining what was left of the two of you he never sent them, destroying them completely.
You furrowed your brows confused. “Why?”
A few seconds passed, your music being the only sound in the room.
You bit the inside of your cheek, fumbling with the hem of your skirt, knowing that things had changed between the two of you. “Sinan, it’s fine, I know that it’s been years since we...”
“Are you going to leave again?” He interrupted you, a hint of anger on his voice.
“What?” You blurted out.
“You left once, it wouldn’t surprise me if you did again.” He continued, a scowl on his face.
You crossed your arms, trying to act firm in front of him. “Are you serious? We were twelve, I didn’t have any choice and you know that.”
You stayed like that for a while, no trace of a smile on your face and a hard look on his until he gave up.
“I’m sorry.” He mumbled. “It’s just, I...I don’t want to lose you again.” He admitted, vulnerability palpable on his voice.
You found yourself wrapping your arms around his shoulders again, hugging him for the second time in the same week. He didn’t seem to mind, his arms holding you by your waist and keeping you close to him.
“I won’t leave.” You added softly. “I promise.”
You tried to pull back to look at him, but it was to no avail, his grip on your waist tightening with each passing second. “Sinan.” You muttered, your hands finding his.
He was painfully aware of how close you are to him. It was like a deja vu from when you kissed for the first time, and with your eyes fixed on him, you didn’t even notice that one of his hands that was on your waist moved to the back of your neck until he was kissing you.
After you closed your eyes, you smiled against his lips. The kiss was slow, and you left your hands on his neck, bringing him closer. He didn’t pull away until you finally did for air, placing your forehead against his shoulder with your eyes closed, feeling your heart beat in your ears.
You weren’t seven anymore, you were now teens who could admit why you felt so comfortable around each other, or why one of the bests things of your day was to talk to him.
“About time.” You mumbled with a smirk, and he thought the same.
About fucking time.

request: Can u write a fic w Sinan, having a secret crush on Kerem's sister, so Eda, isik and Osman find a way to distract kerem to leave the two alone. your last imagine was very good, I loved it.
tag list: @peraltwolf @zaynlikfalls @wwafangirld
(a/n): these two hate each other so much, I found it hilarious and so ironic if Sinan ended up falling for Kerem’s younger sister, that would be like the tip of the iceberg and the rest just helped that mess to be created.
In a household where your mother expected you to be a dutiful and charming daughter and your father acted like an emotionless soldier, it wasn't a surprise that you were the only one for Kerem.
It was with small things, like patching him up after the many fights that you told him to stop or calming him down after your father's patronizing comments. And he would do the same whenever you would get frustrated with your mother for not hearing you or telling you to act more like a lady.
That was why you two were always for each other, hence the reason you were going to one of his classmates' house after he almost got expelled.
Truth be told, you had a lot of experience in that topic. After all, you had been expelled a few months before from an all-girls' school, making your parents send you to your brother's school.
While he knocked loudly on the door, you bit down on your lower lip to avoid laughing. "Can't believe you're getting expelled now."
He only rolled his eyes before going inside, bumping his shoulder against the boy who had opened the door. "Let's talk about whatever we need to talk."
While the other boy glared at him, you stepped inside. "I'm (Y/N), nice to meet you." You introduced yourself politely, wanting to make up for your brother so you two wouldn’t get kicked out.
That was the first time you had ever talked to Sinan. You had seen him a few times in the hallways, but since you weren't in the same year you didn't share any classes.
Before he could reply, his eyes looking up and down at you in a not so subtle way, another girl entered the house. "Move." She ordered him.
You only gave him a side smile before seating down, wanting to get everything over with so your brother wouldn't get expelled too.
That night you got to know the rest of your new friends. While Kerem found himself interested in Eda, you couldn't tell him that you found yourself staring at Sinan most times when nobody else noticed. You couldn’t tell him specially for how they seemed to dislike each other so much.
Sinan didn't do much to show that he cared, he mocked Kerem every now and then and you usually ended up being the one who calmed things down.
“There’s also this, “That’s how my father used to do it”.” Sinan continued with his rant after school while you tried to convince Işik to come to the rock concert.
“That one is about manners.” Kerem shot back.
Sinan, standing next to you, rolled his eyes. “No, I interpret it as, “I’m a moron. I don’t have my ideas”.”
“Dude, I swear...” Your brother started.
“Kerem.” You warned, standing in front of Sinan so your brother wouldn’t cause a fight.
“Calm down.” Osman tried, pulling him back slightly.
Once he calmed down, you took a sip of your ayran before you shrugged. “I don’t think you’re right.”
Sinan looked at you raising his brows, probably a bit surprised by your attitude. You weren’t annoyed by him, but you still wouldn’t allow him to act that way with the rest.
“Oh, yeah?” He asked emotionless while you bumped your shoulder into his in a teasing way.
“Yeah, well, we all got the same shit taught as kids.” You wiped your mouth with the back of your hand. “If you don’t have anything nice to say, then you shut the fuck up.” You quoted with a smug smile.
He scoffed. “So that’s your life motto.”
“Better than tearing people down.” You replied like it was obvious.
He swallowed hard, clearly confused about why you hadn’t gotten annoyed at him like the rest but still contradicted him with good arguments, different from Kerem. Or at least, that seemed to him. “Even if you have to lie to them?” He continued, trying to get another reaction from you.
“It’s not like being kind will kill you, unlike that hatred that you’re harboring.” You explained, finally making eye contact with him once you finished your lunch.
You two continued like that for a few seconds, the rest oblivious that you had stopped bickering. While you bit the inside of your cheek to avoid blushing, you felt something weird inside of you as you watched Sinan’s face softening, not as frustrated as before.
Before you could think anything about that, Kerem cleared his throat. “Yeah, don’t even think about it.”
“Kerem!” You complained while your brother only shook his head and pulled your arm to stand next to him.
“You’re not going to bother my little sister too.” He announced while you sighed exasperatedly.
You glanced at Sinan, his jaw slightly clenched as he looked away, cheeks slightly pink.
You already knew that if you had an older brother, things with boys would be hard. Having Kerem as an older brother only made things 10 times harder. He wouldn’t let any boy even glance in your direction because of how protective he was.
Not once in his life did he ever turn a blind eye in your direction, and any boy that ever made you a mean comment or made you cry, left with a black eye once he found out.
It didn’t exactly help that he absolutely hated Sinan and how he always mocked him acting like he was more intelligent.
But still, you didn’t have to worry much about it. You didn’t even have a crush on Sinan, you weren’t only hanging out with him to help Kerem avoid being expelled. That’s what you continued saying to yourself whenever your mind went back to the boy.
“You’re too young to go on dates.”
You scoffed, almost stopping in your tracks while Kerem only continued walking towards the school. “Are you kidding me? I’m turning seventeen in a few months, you’re only one year older.”
“But I’m older.” He replied like a fact.
“Yeah, well, I don’t care.” You said sarcastically, stopping at a red light, mentally cursing your parents for not giving you a ride to school, saying that you were old enough now. “Besides, when did I ever say anything about dating? I only told you that you don't need to watch out for me all the time.” You tried to change the topic of the discussion.
He rolled his eyes at you. “Don’t act dumb. I’ve seen how he looks at you.”
“He?” You asked furrowing your brows. “Who’s he?”
Kerem only clicked his tongue as you two stopped in front of the school building. Before he could even answer, Sinan arrived with Osman. You would have to ask him later about that.
“What’s up?” Eda greeted you.
While you fixed your tie a bit, you didn’t notice Eda nudging Osman and clearing her throat.
“Kerem, we um...we need you to...” The girl trailed off.
“To talk with Coach Altuna.” Osman added. “Yes, we need you to talk to him.”
Your brother only shrugged. “Fine.”
When he didn’t even move, Eda sighed. “Now, go.” She ordered him, grabbing his arm pulling him with her.
Before he left, he turned to you one last time. “We’ll finish talking later.
“Yeah, yeah.” You brushed him off, clearly not concerned.
While you leaned against the railings behind you, Işik fumbled with her hands. “I um, I have to speak with Miss Ayse.”
“And I have to make some calls.” Osman said.
It only took them two seconds to leave, leaving you and Sinan alone. You pursued your lips into a line, dropping your bag as you took a sharp breath.
“And then there were two.” You mumbled.
Sinan didn’t answer, only moving to stand next to you and leaning against the wall.
You raised a brow at him, subconsciously fumbling with your hands. “Aren’t you going to leave too?”
He swallowed, shaking his head before looking at the ground. However, he looked at you once you started talking again.
“They left you here with me because they don’t like me, right?”
“What?” He blurted out.
You didn’t notice his incredulous look, so you only continued with your rant. “It’s obvious, they must think I’m only Kerem’s annoying and clingy sister and only hang out with me because I’m new and I don’t know anybody. You don’t have to lie to me, I’m sure they pity me or something, that has to be the only reason they hang out with me.”
“That’s bullshit.” He interrupted you. You finally looked at him, your eyes meeting as he continued. “We aren’t an exclusive club or some shit like that, but you’re part of us.” He explained.
You remained silent for a while, a small smile appearing on your face because of what he had admitted. “Thanks.” You mumbled.
He only gave you another small smile before you picked up your bag and grabbed his arm. “What are you doing?”
“I say we skip school.” You thought out loud. “I’m sure they won’t come back and they already left us. Besides, you really want to class now? Last time you went to the infirmary to sleep.”
“Why shouldn’t I go and sleep now?” He asked even if he didn’t want to.
You smirked. “Because I’m more fun to hang out with. I’m the better sibling, you’ll like me, you’ll see.”
He sighed, slowly picking up his bag and jacket before following you while you grinned. “You’re a bit handful even if you’re younger, I can see why you were expelled.”
“Fuck off.”
Kerem was furious with everything. You tried to hide it pretty well, after all, it wasn’t like you two were dating. You were only friends who were slowly growing closer, just like any friendship.
But still, Kerem noticed every smile, every flirtatious push, every teasing comment that had another meaning, and how you two always stood close to each other.
It was the next days when things started being weird.
“Uf, I’m so hungry. Can we go and buy something to eat?” You asked leaving your umbrella on the ground.
You all had convinced Miss Burcu to work alongside Coach Kemal, and the plan seemed to be going smoothly, which made you proud.
Once you gave Sinan, who was standing next to you, your best puppy eyes to convince him, he nodded, a faint smile on his face that made you cheer on your inside.
“We’ll all go,” Kerem added, glaring at Sinan which made you sigh.
Still, while Işik shifted in uneasiness, she glanced at Eda to do something.
“Kerem, I need your help with something,” Eda said all of a sudden dropping her red umbrella on the floor.
As soon as Eda said that, your brother nodded. You only rolled your eyes with a small smile on your face, amused with how he was acting like a lost puppy.
“I have to see something about a few debts, sorry.” Osman announced before leaving as well, a not so subtle smirk on his face that made you furrow your brows.
Isik grinned. “Osman, I’ll come with you! I have to go to the library. We’ll be back in a while. You two go and have lunch. Bye!”
“See ya.” You mumbled still confused while stretching your arms.
You glanced at Sinan, the only one who didn’t even move an inch from his place. His hands still fumbled with the piece of white paper everybody had already left on the ground, his eyes looking everywhere but you.
You judged him with your elbow. “Hey, I’m starving.” You said with a soft smile as he finally looked at you.
He thought about it for a moment before leaving the paper on the ground and walking alongside you. “Fine, let’s eat.”
Once you two bought some döner kebab, you sat on a bench nearby school, your legs crossed and knees touching.
“Thanks for not being that much of a dick to Kerem the last days.” You mumbled, voice slightly muffled because of your food.
He shrugged like it wasn’t such a big deal. “Maybe you were right after all. The whole kindness thing.” He explained before taking a bite of his food.
You fake gasped. “Don’t tell me I managed to change your mind.”
He bumped his shoulder into yours while you only chuckled, taking a sip from your soda. Forgetting about everything, about your friends, your brother, and your classes, you only focused on the boy and the many shops in front of you.
“Why were you expelled?” He asked curiously. “From your former school, I mean.”
You doubted for a moment, your hands playing with the paper your food was wrapped in before you let out a breath.
“It was because of my grades.” You started slowly. “It was a very strict school and a lot of pressure so I didn’t do that well in tests. Truth be told, I wasn’t really expelled because my parents changed me before everything happened, but they had to pay a lot for me to be allowed here. Ugh, they were so mad that their daughter was such a dumbass.” You said sarcastically, slumping in your seat.
“I don’t think you’re dumb.” He said quietly. “I’m not saying you’re a genius, and high school grades don’t show our intelligence and only work for a system in which we’re classified into different...” He started with his rant a bit nervous to change the subject.
You sighed loudly. “Ah, Sinan, I like you but shut up.”
“What?” He blurted out with his eyes widened.
You didn’t even move to pick up your bag you had dropped on the ground, too shocked with what had just slipped out. Now, he had to be sure that you were absolutely dumb.
“Um, yeah...” You started awkwardly. “I...I like you.” You admitted, carefully reading his expression.
He raised his brows, a smile appearing on his face after a few seconds. “Really?”
“Yes, I do.” You repeated yourself, now a bit more confident.
You finally connected the dots on the many occasions the rest had dragged Kerem away, leaving the two of you alone. As his hand slipped in yours, you smiled at him before you remembered something.
“We can’t tell Kerem.” You said completely serious while he only furrowed his brows. “I mean it, he’s going to break your arm if he finds out. I promise I’ll tell him when the time’s right.”
After sighing, Sinan nodded. “Alright. He certainly won’t be happy that I’m with his little sister.”
You chuckled, playfully bumping your shoulders into his. “Slow down, you haven’t asked me yet to be your girlfriend.”
As he rolled his eyes and pushed you too, you smiled. Things would be hard with Kerem, but you would manage to convince him that you really liked Sinan. Or at least, that’s what you thought while you intertwined your fingers.

Just good friends
Tumblr media
(sinan | imagine)
request: hey, could you write a picture with Sinan and y/n have been best friends for years, and he's been in love with her, but he never counted, with the group getting closer, he feels jealous of her with Kerem, so he takes the courage to declare. please
tags: @sinanfalls @girl-looking-out-window @imtoolazytothinkofacoolname
You two met when you were thirteen.
His parents were still together and he wasn't as self-deprecating as he was when the rest met him. You were friends, talking every now and then and spending some time together because you were new and didn't really know anyone.
Then his parents abandoned him and he shut himself off, becoming a mess with dark bags under his eyes and his hair sticking out in every direction. But, you were the only one who still stayed at his side, even more than the flask he always carried.
You were a breath of fresh air in the middle of the people who either pitied him or were simply annoyed by his remarks. You thought they were funny, even if you got upset whenever he got into trouble or he turned up late to school, dismissing his teacher quickly before slumping on his seat next to you and falling asleep. There wasn't much you could do, only take notes for him and empty his flask when he wasn't looking.
It didn't take long for you two to be attached to the hip, your entire day was spent on his house or yours were you two would watch TV, force him to do his homework or eat, and simply strengthening your friendship.
It was the day he almost burned down the whole auditorium everything changed.
You were leaning against a wall in the hall, waiting patiently even if everyone had already left for their houses. The last time you had seen Sinan he had been standing in the middle of the stage with a fire behind him before being taken by a teacher to an empty classroom before deciding whether he would be expelled or not.
You saw Işik, another one of your classmates, leave the teachers' room with a frown on her face. However, you didn't have time to ask her what had happened when Sinan left the room shortly after.
"How did it go?" You asked walking alongside him, ignoring the three other kids who also walked out of the room.
He only shrugged, causing you to roll your eyes. "I'm not expelled. Yet." He stated like it was obvious.
You sighed in relief, your eyes softening while you two walked out of school towards the pier. Still, your calmness didn't last for long.
"Why would you do that? I know there was a fight but you can't just burn down the whole fucking auditorium, you idiot." You scolded him, each sentence punctuated with a slap on his arm.
He grabbed your wrist to stop you from continuing to hit him, a scowl on your face for how reckless he had acted while he only took a sip of his flask.
"I can't say I'm sorry for something I didn't do." He said emotionless, waiting for you to take a seat next to him on the ferry.
He glanced at you after a few seconds while you remained silent. "Why does it affect you so much? I don't care about being expelled."
"Well, I do." You admitted still frustrated. "I don't want them to expel my best friend, what would I do without you? God."
His cheeks heated up, looking down at the ground so you wouldn't notice. Even if you had said that he was only your friend, your best friend, it still felt nice that someone cared for him.
You could only stay angry at him for a few minutes, the ferry slowing down as it reached its stop. You turned to him with a smile. "Can we buy some baklava? I waited for you and I couldn't have lunch."
He nodded, the faintest of smiles on his face as you stood up from your seat and grabbed his hand to hurry and arrive at his house on time to feed his grandpa and dog.
It all started to go downhill the next day, when you two found out Miss Burcu would be transferring schools and he would end up being expelled. Even if he didn't care, you wouldn't allow that, so you went to his house to find some kind of solution. It turned out that your other classmates, Eda, Osman, and Kerem, also wanted to avoid their expulsion, so you all started working together to set up Miss Burcu with another teacher so she would marry and stay in Istanbul.
You got closer to the group, and even if you weren't sure why, Sinan didn't seem fond of the idea. He seemed to always be bickering with Kerem, only stopping once you elbowed him so he wouldn't get into a fight, already knowing that he didn’t care but you did.
Still, it puzzled you why he acted like that only with Kerem. He didn't seem to care if you became friends with Eda and Işik, who were quick to point that out.
"So?" Eda asked the day of the rock concert, Sinan nowhere to be seen and the other boys in the line.
You handed your ticket to the guard. "So what?" You asked confused.
She rolled her eyes. "What's up with you and Sinan?"
You shrugged, Isik approaching both of you while you waited for Miss Burcu. "He's my best friend. We've been for years, he's like a brother to me." You quickly brushed it off.
"You seem more than friends, (Y/N)" Işik pointed out. "You're always together, he never snaps at you and you care about him."
You groaned, dealing with those kinds of questions almost every day at school and even from your parents. “Uf, Işik, not you too.”
"One day I literally saw you two passed out on his couch with your head on his lap and his arm around your waist, that's not something just friends do. Spare us the bullshit." Eda carried on.
You bit the inside of your cheek, trying not to show how concerned you were starting to get when he didn't seem to show up. "I'm just really comfortable around him."
And that was the truth. Or at least, part of it. Sinan mattered too much to you to ever try to pursue anything. You didn't want to lose him and you knew he wasn't the best with his feelings, so you simply brushed it off and tried to act as normal as possible. You knew something happened to you when you were close to him, and it was a different feeling from when you were close with Kerem or other boys. A better feeling.
“Hi! Sorry I’m late, Kerem passed by my house and I already waited for you for like ten minutes.” You said, a smile on your face as you sat on a desk in front of Sinan.
It was recess, but most days he didn’t go out in the courtyard and stayed on an empty classroom to sleep or read a book in silence. You usually did the same, even if sometimes you both talked until class started.
He didn’t answer you, his eyes fixated on a page you were sure he wasn’t reading or was taking too long to turn.
“Why didn’t you pick me up today? Did something happen?” You asked taking the book out of his hands.
“No.” He answered shortly before grabbing back his book.
His answer kind of relieved you, but you still felt unsure about why he hadn’t picked you up by your house as he had done for the last three years. The only times he hadn’t was when you were sick, you got up earlier than him or he was passed out on a bench on a random park.
“Anyway.” You started trying not to focus on the tension between both of you, the only ones who were in the room. “Are we going to have lunch at my house? I don’t mind skipping gym today. God, I’m so tired, the other day Kerem was playing basketball because he was kicked out from the team which sucks and...”
“Don’t you have anything else to do?” He interrupted you.
You frowned your brows, feeling your heart drop at his words. “What’s up with you today? You’ve been weird the last few days.”
“Weren’t you too busy with the caveman to notice?” He asked sarcastically, a scowl on his face as he finally looked at you.
“Why are you such a jerk to him? He didn’t do anything to you.” You insisted hoping to get an honest answer.
When he didn’t reply, you continued. “Are you jealous?”
As you stared at him trying to decipher his expression, he shallowed before turning his gaze back to his book. “No, why would I? Don’t be stupid.”
You sighed exasperated, fed up with his snarky comments. “You always do this when I talk to you about a boy.”
He shut his book, “Why? You want us to talk about boys and braid our hair?” He asked with a dry tone glaring at you.
“I don’t want you to act like an asshole whenever I want to have a conversation with you about someone I like.” You shot back, arms crossed.
When you realized his face softened at what you had said, you thought he would apologize for behaving like a brat in the last days. Instead, he avoided your gaze and continued speaking. “You like Kerem?”
“Are you fucking kidding me, Sinan?” You asked incredulously. “God, you’re so...”
You meant to say oblivious, not believing how the boy couldn’t realize that you could only have feelings for him, being by his side every time he needed it.
He scoffed. “Go with your other friends if you want to talk about your crushes so badly.”
“Fine.”
“Fine.”
His jaw clenched as you stood up from the desk, grabbing your bag next to his in anger before leaving it next to one of your friend’s and leaving the room.
Truth be told, your anger lowered during class, feeling a bit bad once you realized that he spent the entire lesson alone.
“What happened? Why’s he looking at you like a lost puppy?” Eda whispered to you.
You resisted the urge to turn around and see if Eda was telling the truth, so you only continued taking notes. “He’s acting like an asshole.”
She was silent for a moment before nodding, continuing with her drawing while you felt a pit in the bottom of your stomach.
Of course, you had a few fights with Sinan, but most of the time you two didn’t say anything and started talking back again after a while. The longest you had spent without talking was only one hour, but now you ignored him for the whole day.
Still, you couldn’t help a small smile on your face when you opened your door on your house to find him standing in front of you with a bag of food, possibly baklava.
“Everything’s fine now?” You asked.
He nodded, embracing you in a hug that caught you off guard, but you only stood on your tiptoes and hugged him back.
“Bit unexpected. And they say you aren’t affectionate.” You chuckled before pressing a kiss on his cheek.
You took the bag out of his hands before going towards your kitchen, not noticing how his cheeks heated up.
A few days passed and he tried his best not to snap at Kerem. The rest had already noticed the way he seemed to look at you, and even if they urged him to confess his feelings, he still felt unsure about it, feeling like he was going to fuck it up.
With the plan, you had managed to convince Burcu and Kemal to work together for the May 19 celebration, and after spinning around under the boiling sun, you left your umbrella on the ground before heading to your bag to drink water.
On the other side of the courtyard, Sinan took a gulp of his flask. It had to be now before he regretted it. After almost finishing his drink, he made his way towards you, grabbing your arm and taking you away while the rest of the students glanced at both of you curiously.
“What the fuck?” You asked confused once he stopped.
You were in the back of the school, the place were you had reunited with the rest for the last days, but now you were alone.
“I’m sorry for dragging you here.” He started, feeling his hands shaking before leaving them in his pockets. “But I needed to tell you something.”
You nodded, waiting expectantly for him to continue while you leaned against the wall.
“You’re making me nervous, come on. You can tell me anything.” You added, your hand going to his to try to calm him a bit.
He took a deep breath before staring at the ground. “I love you.”
You smiled. “Aw, I love you too, Sinan. You already know that.” You said like it was obvious, your voice trailing off once he sighed and looked at you in your eyes. “Why are you looking at me like that?” You asked confused, absentmindedly rubbing your thumb against the back of his hand.
“Because I am in love with you, (Y/N).”
You dropped his hand in shock by how serious he seemed to be, finally understanding his words. Before he could regret it, in one swift motion he placed his hands on your cheeks and smashed his lips against yours.
Your head felt dizzy with all the emotions you were going through. You wanted to continue like that for hours, but after a few seconds, he pulled away to allow for both of you to catch your breaths.
You leaned your forehead against him, your lips forming into a smile. “I love you too. More than a friend.”

request: Could you please write a picture w prompts 3,10,11,17 (Second list) for Sinan? maybe with y/n staying at his house until later, talking and drinking, so she decides to ask if he really likes her
tag list: @sinanfails @zaynlikfalls @wwafangirld
prompts used: 3. sometimes i wonder if you even like me...it sure feels like you hate me most of the time. 10. did i do something? 11. you don’t know what you do to me, do you? 17. how can you drink that stuff?
When you first met Sinan, you two were late to class and your teacher wouldn’t allow you to come in. On any normal day, you would have probably skipped school and he would have gone to the infirmary to sleep, but your teacher sent you two to the library to help to place books on the shelves.
It was a boring task, and you wouldn't do it all on your own. So you woke him up from his slumber over a desk and after a few minutes, you two started talking, creating a small bond in the next days.
You weren't sure how, but that bond slowly deteriorated.
It started with a few things, like not talking as much as you did, him continuing to isolate himself as usual and you spending more time with school and other things. But you did your best to continue talking to him, making sure that he ate something most days and that he slept as much as he needed.
Then the whole expulsion thing happened and every time you were in the same room, he would just ignore everything you said or make one of his snarky comments that left you confused and, to be honest, hurt. You tried to convince yourself that Sinan was always like that, but you still wanted answers.
It didn't help that once you started a conversation with him it would only end up in a fight.
Right now, you were biting the inside of your cheek sending daggers at the boy who only continued with his lunch, the rest glancing at the two of you to see how you would react after what he had said.
"I'm going to the bathroom." You mumbled, grabbing your bag angrily before walking away.
Eda punched Sinan's arm. "God, you're such an idiot!"
She stood up from her seat on the bench before following you, Sinan only rolling his eyes while Işik sighed.
"I'm gonna head out too." She said. She waited a few seconds to decipher the boys gaze before continuing. "That was a really rude thing to say, Sinan."
"Really shitty.” Osman added.
The boy only scoffed before taking a long sip of his flask. On the other hand, you were walking in the halls with Eda, stopping once you heard Işik approaching both of you.
"(Y/N)! Wait, listen..." She started, taking a deep breath while gathering her thoughts. "I don't know why he said that..."
"Well, I do." Eda interrupted her. "He's an asshole, everybody knows that."
You pursed your lips into a tight line, mindlessly pulling at a loose thread on your shirt. "I know but..."
"He has a crush on you!" Işik blurted out, her cheeks a bit red like she was nervous and her eyes slightly widened.
You furrowed your brows at her words. "Işik...what did you just say?"
Eda parted her lips to talk, but no words came out, obviously in shock as well.
Işik fumbled with her hands, scrambling over her words trying to find the right ones to explain herself from her sudden outburst. "Well, Sinan...he might uh-he may have a small crush on you."
"People who have crushes on other people don't treat them like Sinan treats (Y/N)." Eda remarked raising a brow.
"I don't know." The blonde girl mumbled. "I think he's just nervous around you, and he doesn't really know how to act." She continued with her rant.
As much as you tried not to, your cheeks reddened slightly, even if it was stupid that Sinan could have a crush on you. There was no way he did.
"That doesn't mean he gets to treat me like that." You rolled your eyes. "The next time he does, I swear I'll..."
"Just." Işik tried the last time. "I know it's hard, but it's harder for him. I don't think he's used to having someone who cares for him."
It could be true. You knew everything that had happened with his parents and how he seemed disappointed in humans. But still, while one side of you was euphoric because holy shit, he had a crush on you and you had always thought he was kinda cute and smart, on the other hand, he had been acting like a brat to you the last days.
There wasn't any way you could avoid him, always ending up at his house with the rest to discuss something for the plan. You didn't even care right now, still angry because of the last "conversation" you had had with the boy.
But still, you couldn't help your surprise when he suddenly grabbed your arm to hold you back while the rest left.
"Can we talk?" He asked nervously, his voice almost shaky. "Please." He added.
You pursed your lips, taking your arm out of his grasp to cross them over your chest. "Fine. What do you want?" You snapped.
He swallowed hard, his gaze on the floor before he finally looked up at you. "Uh, do you want something to drink?"
You thought about it for a moment, almost chuckling at how polite he was acting all of a sudden but you resisted it. "What have you got?"
You followed him into the kitchen, almost gasping as soon as he opened his fridge. "Jesus fuck, you don't stop, do you?" You asked sarcastically trying to count the many bottles of beer and whiskey inside.
You weren't looking at him but could feel the eye roll he was emitting. Trying to stop stalling and get to the point, you grabbed the only bottle of wine he had.
"How can you drink that stuff?" He asked incredulously handing you a glass.
You only shrugged, slowly pouring it trying not to spill anything while he grabbed a can of beer. "Why do you have it then?"
He didn't answer, almost making your heart flutter at the thought that he may have thought about you when he bought it, knowing that you only like red wine instead of vodka, whiskey, or any other alcohol.
"All right, I'll just start then." He said as you sat down on a chair next to his spot on the sofa. "...I'm sorry for what I said during lunch."
You faked being confused, your brows furrowed and your mouth slightly open. "What are you sorry for, specifically? You said a lot of things during lunch." You continued before taking a sip of your wine.
He continued fumbling with his hands, passing the can of beer from one to the other. "I'm sorry I said your only traits were being whiny and clingy. I was out of line.”
When you didn’t answer, he continued. “I don’t think you’re whiny. Or clingy. I mean, I don’t think those are your only traits but...”
“I only asked you if you were going to eat something or only drink the whole lunch.” You interrupted him, letting out a frustrated sigh in the end. “What happened to us?”
The words didn’t hit him as hard as he’d been expecting because it was true. He had been distant even if you continued spending time together, but things weren’t as they’d usually been because he was keeping something from you.
He didn’t look at you, continuing to pick at his nails. “What do you mean?”
“I mean...” You started, biting your lower lip while avoiding looking at him. “We were friends, and it was fun talking with you, but...did I do something?”
There was something in his demeanor that worried you, watching as guilt washed over him instantly by how upset you seemed.
You only continued. “At least you didn’t go full beast mode like that time Işik helped you with a test. Sometimes I wonder if you even like me...it sure feels like you hate me most of the time when you say shit like that.”
“I’m sorry.” He blurted out finally looking at you. “I...I tried telling you but I could never. Every time I try to, I fuck it up.”
You pulled your knees at your chest, your cup of wine almost empty, and Sinan leaving his flask after drinking most of it.
“It’s okay, Sinan. I know you don’t really mean it.” You reassured him, absentmindedly tapping your fingers against your knee.
Sinan eyes found yours and he nodded, the left side of his mouth curling up into a small smile and then fading. “...You don’t know what you do to me, do you?”
You felt your heart beating faster than usual. “What did you want to tell me?”
He seemed lost with words, trying to gather the courage to confess his feelings while you waited patiently.
“I like you, (Y/N)”
“Sinan, I like you.”
It was funny how earlier that day you were sending witty remarks and insults to each other and now you two had blurted out that you liked each other at the same time. But now, you could only smile softly, any trace of anger already gone.
“It’s pretty late, isn’t it?” You mumbled glancing at outside his house, the moon shining off the water, and a small glimpse of light coming from the lamppost.
“Yeah.” He nodded. “I’ll walk you home.”
Before you could argue, he stood up and began walking towards the door.
A comfortable silence settled between the two of you before you smiled softly at him. “I’m glad we fixed things. I um, wouldn’t know what to do if we continued like this.”
“Yeah, I’m glad too.” He added, a faint smile on his face.
You were truly glad because even if everything had been awful for the two of you, it seemed to be worth it now, with you holding his hand and a small blush on both your cheeks.

Here for you
Tumblr media
(sinan | imagine)
request: could u please write a fic w prompts 3,11,23 for Sinan? maybe with him wanting y/n to tell him about her problems, so he can help, but she doesn't want to bother him with it
tags: @sinanfails @zaynlikfalls @girl-looking-out-window @imtoolazytothinkofacoolname
prompts used: 3. It's getting late, I'm not letting you walk home alone. 11. You have to stop running away from your problems. 23. Why are you crying?
"Then that's all set, I'll take with Tuncay tomorrow and (Y/N)...(Y/N)?" Osman repeated himself, nudging you with his arm.
You snapped out of your trance and looked around to find five concerned faces.
"Are you alright?" Işik asked, her voice laced with her usual worry. "What were you thinking about?"
You gave them a small smile hoping they wouldn't ask any more questions. "Yeah, I'm fine. So, you'll talk with Tuncay and Işik and I will go with Burcu, right?"
It didn't take them long to return back at the main topic, concluding with the next plan to avoid their expulsion. The rest soon left, you staying behind to help Sinan with all the leftover cans.
"Are you okay?" He asked after you two picked up every cushion and fixed the chairs a bit.
You only hummed in agreement, quickly glancing at your watch and biting your lower lip once you noticed how late it was. "Fuck, my parents are working and they can't pick me up. I better get going, I'll see you tomorrow."
Before you could even grab your bag, Sinan was already standing up from his seat. "It's getting late, I'm not letting you walk home alone."
You rolled your eyes. "I live five blocks away. You don't have to."
"I don't mind." He quickly replied before opening the door for you.
You sighed, your mind on all the things you would have to do once you arrived home, but now, you tried to focus on the comfortable silence that lingered between you and the boy.
You two had been friends for a while, meeting because you lived close to each other and would ride the ferry every day together. But still, when he almost got expelled and he needed your help to make your teacher fall in love, you two became closer. And you knew he could see right through you.
It wasn't that you didn't trust him, and you knew him too well to know that he wouldn't judge you or something, but you didn't want to be a burden. He already had too much on his plate, the expulsion, his family issues, his alcoholism, and the way everything he said was taken the wrong way.
"Do you want me to stop by your house tomorrow? We have a Maths test so we can review the topics before going to school." You offered once you two stopped in front of your house.
He nodded absentmindedly. "Are you sure you're okay? You were zoned out all meeting long."
"I've told you I'm fine, I'll see you tomorrow." You said in a harsher way than you meant to. But still, that was the only way he would drop the subject.
With one coffee in your hand and the other ringing Sinan's bell, you waited patiently in front of his door. Despite downing twice what was recommended of a container of aspirins, you still felt like shit. However, you had a test that day and you wouldn't skip school. You had to go, achieve the best grade, and then continue with that same routine.
"Hi!" You greeted Sinan as enthusiastically as you could, trying to ignore how your head was pounding.
He looked at you a bit confused about why you were wearing your jacket even if it was a sunny day. "Hey."
You didn't waste time and started walking next to him to the ferry, ranting about the latest film you had seen to try to focus on something else.
"Uh, (Y/N)..." He started slowly, your knees touching once you two sat down. "You don't look so well."
You furrowed your brows. "What's that supposed to mean?"
"I mean you're extremely pale." He continued a bit annoyed. "Are you sick? We can stop by the hospital or the nurse's office." He offered.
You shrugged. "No, I'm fine." You brushed it off leaning against the back of your seat. "Now, help me with this, please. I think I understand everything but last night I did the exercises again and..."
"Last night?" He interrupted you, raising a brow. "It was late last night when you left, when did you sleep?"
You didn't answer, standing up from your seat once the ferry reached its stop. "I already told you not to worry about me. Let's go, I don't want to be late."
"You have to stop running away from your problems." He said following you.
Truth be told, you weren't fine. As soon as you finished your test you couldn't keep your eyes open, sleeping during the rest of the lessons with your head on Sinan's bag which was comfortable enough.
That afternoon, even if you were a coughing mess with a blanket draped in your shoulders, you opened your door to find Sinan.
"What are you doing here?" You asked confused, opening the door more so he could enter.
"Işik told me to bring this." He explained following you, his hand carrying a bag with a few pills containers.
He left them on your desk, furrowing his brows at how crowded your room seemed to be with books and school papers on the ground. You didn't seem to mind, returning to your place on your bed, him seating at the end of it.
"Why didn't you say you were sick earlier?" He asked.
"I'm not sick." You replied. "It's probably just allergies."
You could tell he was about to argue with you, but before he could get a word, a cough shaking your body cut you two. He moved closer to you, pressing the back of his hand against your forehead before you instantly pulled away.
"Fuck, you're burning up." He cursed under his breath.
He fumbled with the containers of pills, trying to decipher which one was the right one for you before noticing that you were grabbing a few papers to continue studying.
"No, give me that. You can't study." He scolded you taking the papers out of your hands.
You scoffed. "I still have homework to do and unlike some people, I want to graduate."
"Why are you so focused on that?" He asked with a serious voice. "Highschool is worthless. We'll only be here two more years and everything will be useless." He continued with his emotionless voice.
"Well, I can't think it's useless." You snapped back.
You bit the inside of your cheek to stop yourself. You couldn't tell him about all the pressure from your parents to get the best grades as possible. You couldn't tell him either about the disappointment they expressed whenever you didn't achieve their goals. He already had too much, you knew that.
He handed you an orange pill container. "Where do you have a thermometer?"
With a sigh, you slowly stood up from your bed and walked towards your bathroom. With a thermometer on your mouth, you watched Sinan as he grabbed a small towel before soaking it with cold water.
Your eyes closed as he pressed it against your forehead, hoping it would make you feel better.
"You know you can trust me, right?" He asked softly.
You nodded, your eyes still closed and your body shivering like you were in the middle of winter.
Once you two were sitting back on your bed and enough time had passed, you looked at the thermometer, letting a tired sigh once you couldn't avoid the truth anymore.
"I can't get sick." You mumbled. "We have another test tomorrow, and I have to turn in my Chemistry assignment. God, they won't let me turn it late, and..." You ranted, distress on your face.
"Why are you crying?"
You blinked at him, too caught up with your problems to even notice the trail of tears that were on your face. You quickly rubbed them off, trying not to cry even more once you noticed how concerned Sinan was looking at you.
He swallowed before speaking, his gaze on the floor. "...You know you can tell me if you want. I want to help you." He admitted, taking a chance and using his thumbs to wipe the tears that were left on your face.
With too many emotions to think straight, you hugged him. You clung tightly to his shoulders and burrowed your head into the crook of his neck, only waiting two seconds for him to wrap his arms around your waist, his fingertips rubbing slow circles while you found comfort on the small gesture.
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you." You mumbled, his skin muffling your voice. "I didn't want to bother you."
"I don't think I could ever be bothered by you." He admitted, surprising you by how honest he sounded. "I'm sorry if I ever made you feel that way."
You pulled back a bit, your forehead still leaning against his shoulder. "I don't want you to get sick."
"I don't give a shit about getting sick."
His words made you chuckle, a small smile on your face as you continued like that. A weight was lifted from your shoulders as soon as you accepted that he only wanted to help and that you would never be a burden to him.

tag: @imtoolazytothinkofacoolname
trigger warning! : mention of abuse and bruises.
Tumblr media
You walked into class, doing your best to ignore the stares from your fellow classmates and Miss Billy and made your way to your seat next to Eda. As you dropped your bag, you could already hear the whispers from the others and the longing stare coming from Sinan.
“You’re late again (Y/N), did you have something more entertaining to do to?” Miss Billy called you out, probably more curious about the dark purple bruise on your cheekbone that contrasted with the rest of your skin than the reason why you arrived late to her English class.
You shrugged. “Actually, yes I did.”
Your teacher rolled her eyes and carried on with the lesson. You didn’t want anything else but to lie down and sleep, but you knew better than to worry your friends and boyfriend and started taking notes.
“What happened to your face?” Kerem asked once you started writing down what was on the board.
You acted as normal as possible, not giving it much thought. “I tripped yesterday and fell down some stairs.”
Işik gasped. “That must have hurt so much, what are you doing here? You should be in the hospital.”
You sighed and gave her a small smile to show you were alright. “Işik, I’m fine. It’s not a big deal, It’s my fault because I’m clumsy.”
“It doesn’t look very well.” Osman pointed out.
“You have a scar on your nose too, right here.” Eda said touching the bridge of your nose slightly.
Even though she had a really touched it, you grimaced and moved your face away. “I already took some pills earlier, I said I’m fine.” You said smiling again to try to stop the conversation.
“Then why were you late?” Sinan asked and your expression faltered for a second once you locked eyes with him.
Instead of shrugging your shoulders, which would have been suspicious, you decided to tell the truth, or more like a part of it.
“My dad’s car didn’t work so I had to walk here.”
You forgot to add that your father found out that yesterday when he meant to go out to the market at night, and that when he found out he had taken it out with you and ordered you to go and buy some groceries. You did that, and also bought some painkillers.
You also forgot to mention that you had actually arrived late because you tried to put makeup on the bruise to hide it but ended up feeling worse than before, and you had to clean both your parents and your older brother’s room.
“You don’t have a second floor on your house.”
“What?”
“I said you don’t have a second floor on your house, how could you have tripped down some stairs?” Sinan continued.
You knew he was doing it because he was your boyfriend and he was concerned for you but you were too annoyed to care. “I fell when I went to visit my grandma after school and then I went to the hospital but they said I didn’t have anything wrong and that I could go home. Do you need something else or are you finished acting like a fucking doctor?” You snapped and blocked out what the others said even though they were silent and continued writing down your notes.
You didn’t go to school the next day and Sinan was worried. He waited for you at the gates but still, when you didn’t arrive, he decided to take matters in his own hands.
However, when he went to school the following day, he found you already in the hall talking to Eda with your hair wet from the rain and an umbrella next to you.
“Hi! Eda was just telling me you found out Burcu had a boyfriend. We should figure out what to do.” You greeted him with a smile as you heard a thunder outside.
“Why didn’t you come to school yesterday?” He asked as the three of you walked to the classroom. You were slower than usual, looking for something on your bag.
“Her grandmother is sick Sinan, don’t bother her so much.” Eda whispered to him after elbowing him in his ribs.
You caught up with them and Sinan pretended not having said anything as he watched you closely while you tied your jacket around your waist.
Once you were in music class after convincing Işik to help you get rid of Burcu’s boyfriend, you loosened your jacket in discomfort as breathing made the new bruises in your ribs hurt even more. Nevertheless, you felt uneasy as you were sure that Sinan was staring at everything you did while you sat in front of him with Eda and Işik.
When class finished, you moved slowly trying to hold your side as casual as possible as you looked at Tuncay from the window.
“He’s here to pick her up. How romantic!” Eda spoke up.
“I think it’s beautiful. We shouldn’t mess it up.” Işik argued.
You furrowed your brows, trying to tell if there was any swelling under your shirt. “He might be faking it. Maybe he wants to control everything she does.”
“You don’t understand it (Y/N), you should see what a beautiful gesture it is.” Işik said as you kept looking at the man standing under the rain.
You wanted to make another remark at her idea of beautiful but stopped once you felt the pain increase and you instinctively touched your left side with your fingertips and stopped talking.
“I’ll show you what’s beautiful.” Sinan replies taking off his tie.
You turned confused as he started to take off his jacket leaving him only in his black shirt. “Sinan?”
“What’s up?”
“What’s he doing?”
“Where are you going man?”
He didn’t answer and left the room. Before you knew it, you were seeing him outside in the pouring rain chatting with Tuncay.
“What’s he up to? Kerem said.
“He’s going to freeze to death.” You replied frustrated making your way to the chair where he had left his jacket and to your bag where you had your sweater.
The others continued talking as you pulled your sweater over your head, suffering in silence since you weren’t able to do such a simple task without grimacing because of the pain.
You made your way downstairs when Sinan approached you soaking wet with a jacket which was also dripping. The others were watching Burcu leave with Tuncay as you opened your umbrella and handed him your jacket.
“Give me that and take this one.” He shook his head as he stood under your umbrella and held it himself higher. “Sinan, listen to me. I have a sweater and you’ll fell worse if you wear that.”
You pushed your jacket into his chest until he had no choice but to wear it as you held Tuncay’s jacket. Eda, Kerem, Işik and Osman lead the way to Sinan’s house as you two made your way behind them with his arm around your waist as you two were under your small umbrella.
“That was so dumb to do.” You said as you heard his teeth clatter because of the cold.
He only rolled his eyes. “They had to see that he’s an asshole and he doesn’t care about anyone else. I thought you believed the same.” He said after a while trying to get you to smile, squeezing your side lightly.
“Ow!”
You bit your lip harshly since he had squeezed directly, without knowing of course, on your bruised rib. You flinched slightly, which he noticed as well and changed his whole demeanor.
“Are you hurt?” He asked stopping abruptly while the others continued walking.
You were also shaking because of the cold, something that your sweater couldn’t help you with since it was made of very thin cloth.
“Of course not, what are you talking about?” You said hugging yourself moving out of his embrace.
“You just screamed and flinched and I barely touched you.” He spoke up making your friends’ head turn to you two once they noticed you had stopped walking.
You moved away and looked everywhere but him in annoyance. “That’s not true Sinan, you are too harsh sometimes and you are seeing things where they aren’t any.”
You kept walking until you were next to Osman and Kerem and didn’t look back at Sinan who stood confused with your umbrella.
Once you arrived at his house, he changed his clothes while you sat down on one of the chairs and leaned into the cushion.
“Which part don’t you get? He only gave him the jacket after she showed up.”
“But he gave it at the end, didn’t he? He’s a good person.”
“He should have done it sooner. When he did it at the end he only did it to impress Burcu.” You said taking off your soaking sweater with difficulty.
“Why don’t you look at (Y/N), Işik? She didn’t doubt to give Sinan her jacket and share her umbrella and now she’s freezing too.” Kerem said handing you your bag to leave your sweater inside.
“What a nice gesture to walk under the rain only wearing a sweater.” Sinan said sarcastically and you gave him a fake smile.
“You were wrong. I’m out” Işik answered holding her hands up. “Besides, I really don’t get why you did that, Sinan. And you are also being too mean to (Y/N) and she only...”
“Işik.” You quickly interrupted her.
You ignored the look he gave you and crossed your legs which were shivering. He took a gulp of his flask and even though you didn’t want to admit it, you were concerned for him.
“You two okay?” Eda asked.
You nodded taking you wet hair out of your face and he only scoffed.
“The guy’s anemic. He’ll drop dead any second.” Kerem replied.
“At least you don’t look that bad.” Osman said to you and you chuckled before feeling a sharp pain.
“You would feel better if you hadn’t given me your jacket.” Sinan said making you scowl.
“No one would notice if you died, you know? Except your girlfriend.” Eda commented as he stared at you. “What happens when you’re sick? Your mom’s not here and (Y/N) doesn’t live close. Who takes care of you?”
“Why? Do you get sick to get your mom’s attention?” He answered.
Işik stood up. “Sinan, I’ll make you two a soup.”
You refused immediately “I don’t need it.”
Sinan made his way over her and grabbed her arm to stop her. “No, I don’t want it either.”
“Why not? And you and (Y/N) need medicine too.”
“I said I don’t want it. Sit down.”
They continued to argue until Osman separated them and you opened your bag. “I have ibuprofen, here.” You said standing up and going to where he was.
“Why do you have that on your bag?” He insisted and you only sighed.
“Just take it Sinan, you are going to have a fever if you don’t. Do you want me to force it down your throat or not?”
After a few seconds he took it and relaxed a bit. “I’ll give you a clean sweater, you’re shaking.”
You two went to his bedroom where he started looking for a sweater on his cupboard. He handed you one which had a hole on one sleeve, not that you minded.
“Sorry it’s worn out.” He apologized once you put it on but you shrugged.
“It’s fine. It’s comfortable.” You replied and you two just stood there for a few seconds while you heard your friends’ voices outside.
“(Y/N), I...” He started as you pulled your still wet hair into a ponytail.
“I have to go, my parents wanted me to arrive early.” You said giving him a smile which didn’t reach your eyes.
“I’ll walk you home.” He offered even though you were quick to turn him down shaking your head.
“Thanks but my parents don’t know I have a boyfriend. If they see me with a boy they’ll freak out. I’ll take the bus. See you tomorrow.” You said quickly giving him a peek on the cheek before leaving him dumbfounded.
The following day you were prepared for the worst case scenario with an oversized coat, a scarf and a soup you and Işik had made. Sinan did the same he had done the day before, except this time Kemal did give him his jacket, proving that he was a better match for Burcu.
“You see the difference? Good seems bad. Bad seems good. The greatest treachery of this world. All those kind acts cover up the filth. Those you call rude are the truly good ones, and that’s why the good ones always lose against the bad ones. This world is so fucked up.” He said shivering more than the day before.
Sinan sat down on the couch next to you wearing the coat you had brought and immediately you covered him with a blanket.
“I made you a cup of tea.” You said as he holded you close to him. You smiled softly at him and held his hand under the blanket to give him warmth.
After Işik forced him to drink the soup you two made and you agreed to make sure Burcu left Tuncay, you friends left leaving you with your boyfriend.
You picked up the cushions and the bottles of beer left on the floor when Sinan stood up and stopped you.
“I can do it, it’s fine.”
“Sinan, I’m not the one who is with a cold. You should go to bed now.”
He pulled the blanket closer to him, taking the cup of tea you had made to the kitchen. As he left it on the sink, you dropped you head to his shoulder.
“Can I stay here tonight? My parents think I’m at a sleepover.” You asked quietly as you interlocked your fingers with his.
Sinan felt a blush on his cheeks, even though he did his best to hide it.
“Of course you can.”
You went to his room where he collapsed in his bed while you went to the bathroom and changed into some sweatpants when you noticed you were still wearing his sweater since that morning.
“I forgot to gave you back this, here.” You said at the end of his bed taking off his sweater leaving you with a white shirt.
It rolled up but you quickly covered yourself, trying to hide the bruises, but you knew that Sinan had seen them as he sat up in a moment.
“Where did you get those bruises?”
You stood speechless without moving as he got up and moved towards you. “What?” You asked walking backwards.
“I just saw them, who did that to you?” He said with a frown on his face.
You looked at the floor trying not to panick. “I walked into a table...”
“That’s a fucking lie.” He interrupted you as you went outside the room into the hall. “You always say it’s an accident but you’re lying. Did you punch yourself in the nose two weeks ago? Or what about that time you came to school with a busted lip because you had tripped? Or when...”
“Ow, stop a minute.” You said feeling a new sharp pain which made you stop what you were doing and hold your side pursuing your lips.
His anger disappeared and all you could see was his concern. “What’s wrong? Do you need anything?”
“Ice.” You answered closing your eyes sitting down on the bed.
Once you opened them, you saw Sinan handing you a beer covered in a towel. “It’s the closest I have.”
You nodded, and when you seemed recovered he sighed and leaned against the wall behind him. “Tell me the truth.”
You felt your hands shaking, but you did your best to stay calm and come clean. “They’re from home, we’re not having a good time. I’m used to it, don’t worry.”
That only seemed to anger him more. “You’re used to it? What are you talking about?”
“My mom did this.” You snapped looking at him. “She was angry that I had forgotten my jacket at your house and pushed me against our car’s door. Are you happy now?”
You didn’t wait for him to answer as you stood up and opened the beer he had given you.
“You need to report them.”
You almost dropped the beer in disbelief but knew that he was dead serious with the look he was giving you.
“You want me to report my whole family just because they had a shitty day and took it out with me?”
“Just because they had a shitty day? They are abusing you and you can’t even notice, how can you not see that?” Sinan said raising his voice as he tried to make you understand.
You shook your head and grabbed your bag. “I can leave my family, what I’m I supposed to do? Where I’m I going to leave? Sinan, forget I said anything. I’m going home.”
He stood in front of you blocking your way. You only rolled your eyes trying to push him but he wouldn’t move. “Move Sinan.”
“I’m not letting you go back there.”
“Sinan!”
“They’ll just continue doing this to you and nothing will happen to them.”
You sat down on his couch and held you head between your hands. “I don’t care, there are more good days than bad ones.”
There was only silence between the two of you as he grabbed your beer and drank what was left of it. You noticed he was still shaking and sighed.
“Sinan, we should go to a hospital.”
“And tell them that you broke your ribs.”
“I didn’t break them and it’s for you we should go.” You argued.
He refused and went to his room, you following.
“I’m not going unless you come too and tell them what your family has been doing to you.”
“I can’t do that.” You said sitting on his bed.
He grabbed a blanket and a pillow and gave you one last look. “I’ll sleep on the couch until you change your mind.”
You couldn’t sleep anything. As the first rays of sun came from the window, you walked over to where Sinan slept on the couch and brushed his hair out of his face. However, you noticed something was off.
“Sinan! Wake up, you’re burning up.” You shook him as he slowly woke up.
“What?” He asked rolling to his side.
“You have a fever, a bad one. I don’t know what to do. I told you to take the medicine.” You panicked but deep down you knew what to do. “We have to go to a hospital.”
“No.” He said harshly, droplets of sweat covering his forehead.
“Please Sinan, I’m begging you to go right now.” You said kneeling down next to him.
He only turned away from you. He was shivering too much and clutched the blanket as hard as possible, and the memories from last night came all of a sudden to you which made you act.
“Fine, I’ll go too. I’ll tell them about the bruises and my ribs and my parents and my brother and everything but please, come with me.”
He rubbed his eyes as his teeth clattered, watching your eyes which were filling with tears.
“Alright, let’s go.” He weakly replied.
You wrapped your arm around his shoulder to keep him balanced. “This is all my fault, shit.”
He took a deep breath and started walking with you, making sure he didn’t touch you where you possibly had a broken rib. “It isn’t. This is the right thing to do.”
You two made your way to the closest hospital and went in direction of the ER. Once you reached a nurse, with the energy he had left he nudged you forward.
“You first.” He said and you nodded slowly trembling slightly.
That’s how you ended up sitting on a hospital stretcher with Sinan holding your hand and a nurse asking you questions.
“Honey, how did you do this? Do you play any sport?” She asked touching slightly with her fingertips the swollen skin.
You shook your head digging your nails into your palms as Sinan rubbed your back soothingly.
“Where are your parents? I need their signature to do an X-ray and see if you broke any ribs.” She asked kindly.
“I can sign it.” You answered.
“We need their approval if you have a rib fracture and your lung collapses or leads to bleeding in your chest. In that case, we’ll need to insert a tube into your chest to reinflate the lung or drain the blood.”
“(Y/N), you can do it.” Sinan told you.
You felt a tear slid down your cheek and you wiped it as you took a deep breath, wanting nothing more than to cry into Sinan’s chest. “They did this.”
Next thing you knew, Sinan was out cold on the floor with doctors surrounding him to help and you were writing down your address and you aunt and grandmother’s number to let them know that they had to come to the hospital and that your parents and brother were going to be interrogated at the nearby police station.
“How is (Y/N)? I heard she is going to stay with her aunt who also lives here. She called me and said that the trial is in two weeks.” Işik asked Sinan as he ate the soup she had brought him.
He looked down the hall where his room was. “She’s still sleeping, I didn’t have the heart to wake her up.”
She smiled softly. “You did the right thing. And we should have noticed sooner.” He still didn’t seem convinced enough, so she sighed. “Sinan, it’s not your fault and it isn’t hers either.”
After she left, you woke up to see Sinan laying down next to you. You pressed your palm against his forehead and he smiled.
“They said I was better. How are you?”
You brushed his hair out of his face. He held your cheek and you leaned into his touch. “I’m better now. My aunt works a lot but she’s nice. She wants to meet you.”
“That’s old fashioned.” He replied.
You chuckled, and for the first time in the week, you didn’t feel any pain.

Will anything happen?

(sinan | imagine)
request: could u please write an imagine, with Sinan having been in love with s/n for years, but he never knew how to tell her that, until she became friends with the group, so he sees an opportunity to approach her.
tags: @zaynlikfalls @girl-looking-out-window @imtoolazytothinkofacoolname
You were sure your life had changed the moment you were doing your philosophy homework during recess, too immersed with trying to finish Miss Ayse's assignment on time you didn't notice how five students entered the room and ushered the rest to leave, even if the room was almost empty.
"What the fuck?" You blurted out confused once someone closed your notebook.
Eda, one of your classmates, sat in front of you, while another boy you vaguely remembered leaned against the wall.
"We need to talk." Osman, a boy you had bought some homework a few times, stated as he sat down next to you.
A quick look around the room made you panic internally, with Kerem, another boy you knew because of his anger issues, closed the door. Your mind tried to come up with a reasonable reason why your classmates you had only spoken a few words were now acting so strangely.
You looked at Osman, the only one you had talked the most out of them, with a raised brow. "Do I owe you something because of the homework? I don't have any money left, I— Are you going to beat me up? What is wrong with you?" You ranted.
"No!" Işik, the one you liked most because of her charismatic personality, reassured you, taking out a chair and sitting next to you. "We only wanted to talk to you."
"We need your help." Eda continued. "It's about Miss Burcu, we want you to help us set her up with another teacher. Otherwise, she'll leave since her transfer is confirmed."
"And this way we'll all make a beautiful thing happen. We’ll spread love." Işik added with a grin.
You furrowed your brows at the strange request. It didn't take you much to see through their act, Isik being the only one who seemed genuinely sad about your teacher leaving, so you just assumed the rest were doing it to their own advantage. Probably because of what had gone down a few days ago during a school debate, in which the auditorium was almost burned down and they were almost expelled.
Still, you had a few questions left. "Why me? I don't know either of them that well."
Eda shrugged. "You have a boyfriend."
"And you two have been dating for almost two years, you must know about love and dates. That really can help us. Isik knows the theory, you know the practice." Osman explained trying to convince you with his businessman smile.
So that was the reason why they thought you were a love expert.
You only could give them an awkward smile, feeling your cheeks slightly blushing because of the obvious fact they didn't seem to be aware of. "Boran and I broke up two months ago."
Being stopped from doing your homework was worth it once you bit down on your lower lip trying to avoid laughing at their faces of sudden realization.
"Fuck. You told us they were in love." Eda complained, glaring at the boy who was leaning against the wall.
He didn't answer, his eyes fixated on the ground while the rest looked at him angrily.
You slowly stood up from your chair while the rest seemed deep in thought. "Well, this was fun but now you've realized I can't really help you. Good luck though."
"Wait, you can still help us." Işik tried, standing in front of Kerem once she noticed he wouldn't let you leave.
With a huff, you sat down back on your seat. "(Y/N), dear. You're the only person who's been in the longest relationship in the whole school." Osman continued. "Come on, help us. This is what you and Isik know best."
You thought about it for a moment, almost flinching when Kerem suddenly stood next to you even if Osman had already said that you didn't owe him anything and even if you did, they wouldn't beat you up.
"Don't worry, he only talks with his fists but we need you."
You looked up at the boy leaning against the wall, now realizing where you recognized him from. You couldn't really blame yourself, after all, Sinan usually skipped classes or never participated, only sleeping most of the time or drinking his flask. You were almost sure you had done one or two school projects with him and Isik, because even if she was the smartest girl in the class, nobody else wanted to work with them, too annoyed with the boy and his usual remarks.
He stayed silent throughout the whole interaction until you shifted uncomfortably because of Kerem and how you only knew him because of every time you had seen him punch someone during a basketball game or recess. But right now, he only glanced at you for a second before returning his gaze back to the ground.
Kerem glared at him. "I'm so sick of his bullshit."
"Calm down." Osman said once he noticed the tension in the room.
You only chuckled, almost giving in to their offer once you noticed Sinan glancing up at you again for a few seconds. But still, you couldn't do what they were asking.
"I'm sorry, but I can't. I'm going to fail Philosophy and Miss Ayse has sent me all of this..." You said referring to the numerous papers in front of you, most of them highlighted with your own handwriting in some notes. "I'm literally fucked with this, and I can't fail another subject again."
Still, Osman wasn't going to give up. "Sinan will help you."
"What?" You both said at the same time.
"If he helps you pass, will you help us too?" Eda asked hopefully.
"These assignments aren't to help students learn what they don't understand, they only exist so teachers feel even more powerful having someone else's future on their hands." Sinan spoke, annoyance clear on his voice.
Kerem rolled his eyes. "You're the man for the job. Every sentence you say sounds like a riddle."
"Can you help me? You can lend me your notebooks if you want, I can manage." You said, trying to ignore the fact that he was always sleeping in class.
He fumbled with his hands, not answering instantly which made you wonder if it was because of a hangover or if he simply didn't like you. "I...I'm not good at writing down notes." He explained.
"But he's really good with philosophy!" Işik added nudging him forward. "He's in the debate team too."
"There you go, he'll explain to you what we covered and you'll help us make Burcu fall in love." Eda concluded.
Before he could disagree, you nodded. "Okay, deal."
They seemed finally grateful, and before you could think better about what you had just gotten into, the bell rang. You got up from your seat and started gathering your things, not noticing how the rest left and how Eda practically pushed Sinan forward in your direction.
"I'm sorry you assumed I would be of any help to you." He started somewhat reluctantly, stopping once you looked up at him in the middle of leaving your notes on your bag.
"Sinan, we've done a few projects with Işik before, and even if you didn't come to my house you helped out in the end." You said forcefully, not taking no for an answer.
Under his impressed look, you paused for a moment as he started helping you with your things, knowing you wouldn't be able to do it before the next class started.
"So..." You started with a soft smile. "Your house or mine?"
As Sinan opened the door for you, you thanked him with a silent smile before entering his house. You gathered your surroundings, amazed by the numerous pairings hanging in the walls while you followed him.
"Sinan, your house is beautiful. I can't believe you never invited us before." You said leaving your bag on the floor next to the couch.
"I have to make lunch for my grandpa and feed my dog..." He trailed off opening the fridge on his kitchen.
You made your way towards him after taking off your jacket. "I'll help you." You offered, taking the bowl of dog food out of his hands before he could say anything.
As you petted his dog, he left a tray of food for his grandpa and then you both sat down on his couch, you looking for a highlighter and him fumbling the only pencil he had.
He cleared his throat a bit, your knees touching while you unknotted your tie. "We're seeing idealism, right?" He asked and continued once you nodded. "Um, it can be classified into subjective and objective idealism, the main difference is that one believes the object is more important, and therefore, it's independent of our consciousness."
He gave you a side look to see if you understood. You looked at your notes, confusion clear on your face as your brows furrowed and you tried to search for what he had just said. You expected him to snap at you for not understanding, which would only cause you to get even more frustrated and to storm out of his house, but that wasn't the case.
"It's fine." He said patiently, taking your notebook to help you search what you needed. "Here, you mixed them up. You should remember that the objective idealism regards as the prime source of being not the human mind, but some objective other-world consciousness."
"And the subjective denies the existence of objective reality." You carried on connecting the dots.
You fixed your notes, a green highlighter on your hand, and the cap between your teeth.
Sinan stood up from his seat. "Tea?" He asked.
You nodded. "Please." You said with a smile, noticing how the corners of his lips curled in a small smile.
After that day, your usual routine changed completely. You planned the perfect date with the rest, helped with the fake fight between Burak and Kerem, went to a rock concert, and even got closer to the rest. You weren't sure, but you felt closer to Sinan after spending every afternoon at his house.
You saw a different side of his, a boy who cared for his grandpa and tried his best to help you with things you found difficult, not losing his patience and explaining it as much as you needed.
At school during recess you flopped down on a bench, Sinan sitting at the end of it like usual. “What’s up?” He asked.
"Look at this!" You beamed with a grin pushing a paper into his hands.
He raised his brows at you before reading your test, you waiting expectantly for his reaction. "You passed Philosophy?"
You let out a sigh of relief. "Yep, no more assignments from Miss Ayse. Now I can help you even more with Miss Burcu, it's a shame she has a boyfriend. We're fucked."
"You aren't." He pointed out, slowly taking out his flask from his jacket. “You can stop with everything if you want, you’ve achieved what you wanted and nothing changes for you if Burcu leaves.”
You scoffed. “Do you really think that of me? That I would leave all of you now that we don’t have to study anymore?”
He only shrugged, going to take a sip of his flask before you stopped him, your hand on top of his. “Can you...not? Please. I don’t like the smell.” You explained taking the flask from his hands to his amused look.
Sinan rolled his eyes and took the flask out of your hands, except this time he didn’t drink from it and only left it back again on his jacket.
With a soft smile, you stood up. “Come, let’s go to my house and have lunch.”
“Why?” He asked confused about why would you want to hang out with him but nevertheless stood up.
“I’m hungry...and we have another Music project to do. I don’t have a partner so, lucky you.” You tugged on his arm to walk.
“Lucky me.” He teased.
With your music cassette playing on the background a Tarkan song and a few books scattered on your bed, you continued with your research on Mozart, your legs crossed while Sinan sat opposite you.
After fumbling with his pen for a few seconds, he looked at you. “Can I ask you something?”
You glanced at him after taking a sip of your water. “Sure.”
“Why did you and Boran break up?” He asked curiously. “Everybody thought you would get married like the two high school sweethearts you are. Were.” He corrected himself.
You shuffled uncomfortably in your place, biting the inside of your cheek as you looked at the boy in front of you. You smiled weakly before starting to talk. “Um, dunno. I mean, things weren’t as smooth like they were at the beginning. I didn’t feel the same and he thought that I had too much...baggage, so we talked and decided to end things. We’re still friends though.”
Sinan’s face softened at your words. “I’m sorry, I thought you two...”
“You thought we were in love, right?” You interrupted him, your voice teasing but quiet. “I remembered Eda said that the first time we all talked, how did you know?”
He looked away as a small blush crept on his neck, and you only waited for him to answer.
“A few years ago we had a History assignment, do you remember?” He asked slowly.
You furrowed your brows. “Sinan, we have History assignments almost every day.”
He rolled his eyes. “Yeah, but this time I was with Işik and we needed someone else and you volunteered. Then she dragged me to the library and we spent some time together.” He continued trying to make you remember.
You thought about it for a few seconds until you came to the realization of what he was recalling, your mouth opening in surprise. “Yes! I remember. You slept the whole hour until I told you to help me with the dates.”
He nodded, not talking for a moment and avoiding your look before he took a gulp of his flask, ignoring how you sighed when he did that. “I...we didn’t talk much but I knew that you could see something good in everyone, even in me.”
Sinan struggled with his words, so you left the books aside and moved closer to him. “Why didn’t you talk to me after that?”
He rolled his eyes. “Why do you think?” He answered sarcastically. “You met Boran and...it wasn’t worth it. He was better for you.” He explained with his usual emotionless tone.
He looked at you for another moment, his eyes slowly trying to figure out your expression. For a moment, you basked into the attention he was giving you shamelessly, remembering even more about what had happened two years ago.
“Işik! Guess what! After you and Sinan left I met this super cute guy. His name’s Boran and we talked and he asked me on a date tomorrow!” You gushed to her the next day you went to the library to finish your History assignment, not noticing Sinan’s expression, a mix of jealousy, disappointment, and heartbreak.
“Sinan...” You started slowly. “...did you have a crush on me?”
Eyes darting from where they were fixed on your face, he stared at his lap. “Why would it matter? I’m sure you and Boran will fix things and...” He paused and took a sharp breath. “...you’ll be back again with him. You’ll forget about us, living the true romance fairytale you’ve wanted your whole life.”
Once he finished his rant, he grabbed his flask to take another sip again but you were sick of it. “That’s not true!” You scolded taking the flask out of his hands, leaving it next to your pillow. “And that wasn’t my question, why are you like this?”
He didn’t answer, only moving forward to reach for his flask, but you were faster and cupped his face to make him look at you.
“Sinan, you should have told me. Do you like me or no?”
He stopped breathing, his chest visible not moving as he stared at your eyes. “Yes.”
Your breath hitched in the back of your throat, realizing all of a sudden how close you actually were. Before you could think about it, with your hands still cupping his face, you pulled him towards you and placed your lips onto his.
He was clearly caught off guard, but it didn’t take long for him to kiss you back and place his hands on your waist, a few pencils falling off your bed while he moved to be closer to you.
Out of breath, you broke the kiss, your hands remaining on his face while he looked at you, studying every inch of your face trying to read your expression.
“Things have been different between us in the last days.” You said, your voice coming out like a whisper.
He hummed, waiting patiently for you to continue. “I...I just got out of a fucking long relationship and, I have a lot on my mind.”
“I understand.” He nodded, your hands falling to your side finding his.
Your thumb traced soothing circles into the back of his hands and his eyes almost fluttered shut at the sensation. “But we could try, right? Not a relationship right now, but maybe a date first.”
“Yeah. Yeah for sure.” He mumbled.
He had already waited two years to finally tell you how he really felt, but it seemed like it was worth it seeing how you were smiling at him at that moment.

(sinan | imagine)
request: Omg u should totally do the trope where the reader pretends to be dating the character and then they acc fall in love ? Maybe with Sinan or Osman? I think prompt 20 from the spring list is good for that
tags: @girl-looking-out-window @imtoolazytothinkofacoolname
prompt used: 20. Can you...please pretend to be my date?
“I need one of you to pretend to be my boyfriend.”
Five heads stared at you in disbelief. When no one replied to you, you rolled your eyes.
“You know Ali right? Tall, blonde hair, friends with Burak, once hit Kerem during basketball?”
“Yeah.” They all replied while you walked into school.
“Well he’s friends with my family and he has a crush on me. I keep turning him down but he doesn’t stop and he’s almost crossing the line to becoming a stalker.”
“Why don’t you tell him to fuck off?” Eda asked.
You sighed. “I already have, but he still insists that we should go out since we are both single. Besides, he isn’t that bad, we’ve both known since we were children. He’s just...”
“Horny?” Kerem said.
“An asshole.” Sinan added.
You turned left on a corner in a hall. “That’s why I need one of you to pretend to be my boyfriend. It’ll only be for like, a week, while I try to find out what girls have a crush on him and set them up. So?” You asked once you arrived at you class’ door.
Kerem smiled sadly at you. “I would but I don’t think I could manage spending time with him without pinching him in the face.”
You nodded. “You’re right, you’ll end up killing him. Osman?” You asked hopefully.
He ate one of his hazelnuts and gave you one. “I have a lot of things to do already. With the bussines I really don’t have time to date, sorry.”
“Shit.” You mumbled as you made your way over your desk, already knowing that Ali would sit down next to you once he arrived.
Işik seemed to have an idea as she spoke fast and happy. “Sinan can do it!”
She pushed him to sit down next to you while she sat down next to Eda. “What?” He said dumbfounded.
You looked at him with a raised brow. “Did you listen to anything I said?”
“I did. It’s completely ridiculous that in order to make a guy stop bothering you, you have to pretend to date someone else.”
“Well, I’ve tried everything else.” You let your head fall down to your desk. “I’m fucked.”
“No! Sinan can pretend to be your boyfriend.” Işik said again.
“No offense...” You started.
“But.” Sinan added annoyed.
“You hate romance. I’m doing you a favour.”
“You’re doing yourself a favour because deep down you know that it’s a shitty idea and you don’t want to do it either.”
You thought for a moment before seeing Ali talking with Mr. Kerif in the door. You had to do something quick before being stuck with him.
“Sinan.” You said pleading as he got comfortable on his desk to sleep. “Can you please...pretend to be my date?”
“I won’t do it.”
You shook his arm lightly. “Please. I’ll buy you lunch every day we fake it. You only have to act like you were my boyfriend but you won’t have to buy me gifts and that shit. We don’t even have to go to dates.”
He sighed while rubbing his eyes. You fixed a strand of hair that was falling against his forehead as he stared at you.
“Fine.”
Işik celebrated with Eda as Kerem and Osman started teasing him. You rolled your eyes at them and hushed them, trying not to make Sinan uncomfortable now that he had accepted to do it.
Day 1
It was the day after Sinan had agreed to fake being your boyfriend and you were talking with Işik and Osman when you saw far away Ali talk with Burak, stealing a glance to you a few times. Before he could try to talk to you, Sinan appeared wrapping an arm around your waist.
“Smooth.” Kerem said once he appeared with Eda.
“Thanks.” You said to him while Ali walked away from the two of you.
Day 2
“Here’s your lunch.” You said handing Sinan a döner kebab.
He sat down next to you in a school bench with the others. Işik was eyeing both of you suspiciously.
“You would make a cute couple, you know that?” She said and you chuckled while he rolled his eyes.
You noticed Ali and straightened your posture, your hand reaching for Sinan’s. “Showtime.”
“This is so dumb.” He said.
“Just deal with it for a few more days and it’ll be over.” Eda said.
You played with the paper where your food was wrapped and while the others keep talking about something else, you placed your head on Sinan’s shoulder. You felt him tense for a second but then he relaxed.
“Did you hear about the teacher who was fired for making out with the students? I heard he had to leave Istanbul.” You said.
“You mean the one who made out with Eda?” Kerem replied.
The girl hit him in the arm causing you to laugh. When you finished, you moved out of Sinan’s embrace and went to throw away your paper in the garbage. When you came back you expected Kerem or Işik taking your place in the bench but only Sinan’s bag was there, which he left on the ground once you came back. You sat down and continued talking with your friends with Sinan’s arm around your shoulder, only this time, you didn’t notice Ali had already left before.
Day 3
“(Y/N)!” Ali greeted you as you sat down on a chair in your music lesson. “I haven’t seen you lately, how are you?”
“Hey Ali. Sorry, I’ve been busy with homework.” You said taking out your notebook.
His friends were waiting for him in the room’s door, Burak eyeing Eda who was talking with Kerem in the row behind you. Osman was probably selling some homework and Işik was asking the teacher some question, Sinan nowhere to be seen.
“I heard that Yildiz has a crush on you. But, Hilal too. I think you would make a great couple.” You said grinning when he blushed at the mention of Hilal.
He scratched the back of his neck. “Maybe, but I still wanted to ask you...”
A loud noise made you and the other students look at where it had come from. Sinan had dropped his bag, rather loudly, on the chair next to you before sitting.
Ali seemed surprised. “So, it’s true that you two...”
“Are dating? Yes.” You answered holding Sinan’s hand and interlocking your fingers.
“Two weeks now.” He added. “You should try to flirt with someone who’s available.”
When Ali left, you stopped holding his hand. “That was rude.”
He shrugged. “I thought you wanted it to be realistic.”
You rolled your eyes, your hand cold instead of the warmth you felt with him.
Day 4
“You’re late.” He pointed out.
You sat down next to him and started to braid your disheveled hair. Sinan grabbed your bag and started taking out your books and pencils to help you, something which made your heart flutter.
“I didn’t hear my alarm. Did you have breakfast?” You asked seeing the flask he usually had was nowhere to be seen.
“We didn’t see much.” He said passing you his notes, which was unusual.
You smiled at him. “Thanks. You didn’t answer my question.”
You started writing down what was on his notebooks while he shrugged. “I had some tea.”
You furrowed your brows. Once class finished, you grabbed your wallet and his arm and made your way to the school’s gates with him behind you.
“What are you doing?”
“I didn’t have breakfast either. Let’s skip class and eat. I can pay you.” You offered as you made your way outside school.
You let go of his arm, even though you didn’t really want to, but still kept close to him, your shoulders touching even if you were smaller than him.
“You don’t have to pay for me anymore.” He argued.
“I invited you.” You said as you ordered two börek and passed him one. “So good.” You mumbled munching on one as he smiled softly.
You two stood like that for a while having breakfast watching people walk past.
“I understand now why you are faking with Ali. I wouldn’t do the same, but you don’t want to hurt his feelings.” He said after thinking it carefully.
You nodded. “Yes, but thank you for all of this. I know you didn’t want to and Işik pretty much forced you. But it’s been nice spending time with you.” You said smiling at him.
You made your way to school, his arm wrapped around your waist and you talking about what you had done the day before without noticing the look he was giving you.
Day 5
“Ali! I already told you. I’m dating Sinan.” You basically yelled at the boy in the school yard, a few people glancing your way until you both gave them a nasty look.
“I can’t believe you are dating that freak. He burnt down the school theatre last year.” Ali said like you were a child.
You rolled your eyes. “It wasn’t the whole theatre. Besides, I like him. A lot.” You said honestly, surprising Ali with your answer and yourself too.
You realized that you had to end it when the line between fake and real got blurry, so you had to go and speak to Sinan right now.
You sighed. “Look, Ali, we’ve known each other since we were five. And I don’t think we would...”
He interrupted you by grabbing you forcefully by your neck and kissing. You furrowed your brows and immediately pushed him off of you.
“What the hell?” You said in disbelief.
You were about to give him a rant about consent and him being crazy when a shout made you two look away.
“What are you doing?” Sinan said coming between the two of you.
Before Ali could answer, Sinan had already thrown a punch on his nose, starting a fight between both of them. You stood there speechless until you heard more students come to watch the fight and you came back to your senses. You grabbed Sinan and held him back with the help of Kerem who had also arrived and Burak helped Ali to his feet.
“What is going on?” Miss Ayse asked as Sinan held onto you for support.
“He’s an asshole.” Kerem replied but you only watched Sinan’s face covered in a few bruises and blood coming out of a cut on his brow he had probably done when Ali threw him to the ground.
That’s how you ended in the infirmary with Sinan siting on a stretcher and you cleaning his cuts standing between his legs.
“You didn’t have to punch him, look at you. I had it under control.” You said grabbing an alcohol pad.
He winced slightly. “He just grabbed you all of a sudden and you seemed so...”
“Weak?” You scoffed.
“Uncomfortable. And I got jealous. I thought that maybe you would end up liking him more than me.”
You placed a bandaid on the cut on his brow and gently caressed his cheek. “Why would I like him more than you?”
He leaned into your touch and shuggred.
“I don’t like him...I like you. If I didn’t, would I be here patching you up?” You said smiling softly with a small blush.
He looked up at you while you avoid his gaze and looked out of the window.
“Then I guess we weren’t faking it after all.”
You laughed before holding his hand and sitting down next to him.
“I guess not.”

(sinan | imagine)
request: I'd like to request a Sinan oneshot, where ofc he's that sarcastic bish and the reader and him don't get along but they get stuck at his place because of a storm or something and they won't have a choice and have to act civil and well they realize they like each other and kiss???
tags: @bvidzsoo @girl-looking-out-window @imtoolazytothinkofacoolname
You would never admit it, but sometimes Sinan was too much. It was known that you two had feelings for each other and were pretty much dating, even though you never put a label on it. But, you knew everything he had gone through, and how all of this was new to him.
That didn’t stop you from getting angry at him when he acted like it was no big deal to punch a guy who was flirting with you.
“You didn’t have to do that! Shit.” You said taking a glance at the guy who had a bleeding nose.
Sinan only shrugged while you took a look at his reddened knuckles.
“I can’t believe you.”
“Why? Were you having a good time with him?”
You looked at him with a raised brow. “Excuse me?”
You two started walking away from school before somebody else showed up and noticed the fight that had happened.
“You seem too worried on the guy who was obviously flirting with you. I bet you want to go with him now and patch him up. Act like his lovely nurse and make sure he’s not hurt.” He snapped at you.
You would have slapped him across the face, like you had seen in all your romantic films. But, doing that would only make you the same like him. So you just walked away, disappointing him even more.
The next days were tense for you and everyone who surrounded the both of you. Snarky remarks and sarcastic comments flew back between you and Sinan, and they only stopped when one of you said something that hurt the other too much.
“What happened between you two?” Eda asked as you walked down the street to have lunch.
“Trouble in paradise?” Kerem said annoying you.
You rolled your eyes and move the farthest away from Sinan, who stood next to Osman. Kerem passed you your döner under the hard stare from Sinan.
Işik spoke up. “It’s Valentine’s day next week. I can’t wait to see all the couples in the street and all the decorations.”
“It’s a shitty celebration which makes people who are lonely kill themselves because no one gave them chocolate for a gift.” Sinan replied and you did your best not to roll your eyes again.
“Don’t be such a pessimist.” Eda said to him.
“But it’s the truth.”
“No, it isn’t. It’s romantic like Işik says.” You argued while Sinan scoffed.
“Girls think more about it.”
Işik and you furrowed your brows. “What is that supposed to mean?”
“Just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean every boy hates it.” You added.
“Why? You can’t wait to receive all the love letters from your admirers?” Sinan asked you sarcastically.
Next to you, Eda sighed loudly, knowing that a fight was about to begin.
“Oh, I don’t know. What if someone gives me a chocolate and you punch them? Or what if someone even says hello to me and you think they want to marry me?”
“I’m sure you’ll be already making out with them before they even acknowledge your presence.”
You didn’t answer and finished your food in silence, even though you were sure Sinan didn’t care that you were hurt by what he said, like the others noticed.
After you all had lunch, everyone went to their own houses, and as you sat on a bench you were sure you wouldn’t be able to get home as rain poured down and all the ferries were canceled for an upcoming storm.
You were only wearing a sweater when you noticed a dog next to you. As you started petting it, you felt a shadow over you. You looked up and found Sinan.
“There aren’t any more ferries. You should stay at my house.”
“I don’t want to.” You simply said.
He sighed loudly, already frustrated with you as much as you were with him. “You are going to freeze here.”
“Maybe I’ll go to one of my admirer’s houses, since you think I have so many.”
You two made your way to his house, not a word spoken between the two of you. Once you arrived, you took of your sweater and he started making tea. It was dark outside and you could hear the rain and thunder as you sat down on one of his chairs.
He came back with two cups of tea and sat on his sofa near you pulling his feet up.
“I don’t want to argue anymore if we are going to spend a whole afternoon alone.” You said as you played with your hands.
He seemed to think for a moment before slowly nooding. “Do you like somebody else?” Sinan asked all of a sudden.
“Not really.” You immediately said. “But I don’t like you when you act like a psycho jealous.”
Sinan didn’t answer but seemed lost in his thoughts. Was it all worth it? You hurting each other and arguing constantly? Only because you liked each other but were too scared to really admit it.
“I thought that you would figure out that there is someone out there who is better than me.” He finally said sitting down looking into your eyes.
You got closer to him, finally understanding the weight he was under from all these years of unrequited love. “I don’t think that right know there is someone else better for me than you.”
His demeanor changed slightly for the better, but you knew that the fear of being left behind would always be with him, so you did the only thing that had been in your mind since you started liking him.
You kissed him, your hands on his neck and Sinan holding you by your waist. All the fights you had had the last week already forgotten.
“I’m sorry for all I said about you prostituing for boys to admire you.”
You rolled your eyes, the small smile in your face giving you away. “You’re an asshole sometimes.”
“I know”

Sinan as a boyfriend | Headcannons
Tumblr media
Your relationship is a combination of snarky remarks, soft smiles and long stares.
He seems to always know what your thinking about.
That surprises you, but also helps because it feels like you’re dating your best friend.
That means that you can always talk about your problems and he will gladly give you his point of view and advice.
That’s why you do your best to keep him accompanied since he lives only with his grandpa.
That includes a lot of late night talks and sleepovers.
You like to tease him constlantly with nicknames just to see him both confused and flustered.
That includes saying “darling, pass me the salt” or “sweetie, I though I told you not to drink too much at 3 in the afternoon” in the most sophisticated accent you can achieve.
Most of the times he rolls his eye while you laugh at him.
But sometimes he smirks and plays along “why dear, if I didn’t drink anymore the company would go into bankruptcy, and we wouldn’t want that right?”
You wait for him next to his class (when he does go to school) and he does the same.
Even though in the begging you didn’t saw him because he doesn’t even move until you greet him with a smile.
He isn’t the jealous type at all.
He trusts you one hundred percent.
But when he sees someone flirting with you, even though you look annoyed as hell he can’t help but meddle.
“Can’t you take a hint or are you so blinded by your own ego?”
After that, the boy who ideas flirting with you usually leaves.
However, there are times where they just smirk and look at him upside down.
“What’s a pretty girl like you dating this loser?”
That usually leads to a fight.
You, of course, have to patch him up afterwards.
But he doesn’t really mind because he enjoys spending time with you.
The silence is never uncomfortable.
Even though you have your usual fights of him being too heartless or you being too senseless, you always will protect him.
And he will always look at you with adoration.

You with me
(sinan | imagine)
Request: can you do an imagine for sinan where the reader is worried for him when they were at Işık's house so she maybe could went after him. And see when he let himself and fall to the sea, and she panicks and goes after him and jumps. Maybe he could surprise about... someone do care for him? And maybe 'cause her clothes are wet, he could share his and they can go to concert together?

It was like seeing an accident happen in slow motion. You knew something was not going well when Sinan stormed off Işik’s living room, but you still had to convince her mother to allow her to go to the concert. When you finally succeeded, you tried to talk to Sinan, but before you knew it he was out of your sight.
You told yourself you would talk to him later. It wasn’t that he was only acting strange, but the last few days he had been different with you too. At school he would do his best to ignore you or give you short replies but once you had proved you knew he was doing it since he could be a jerk sometimes, he would talk to you. Sometimes you would talk about things you felt were important but other times you couldn’t stop laughing at something Sinan said while he looked at you with a soft smile.
That’s how you ended up in front of his house.
You let yourself in, only seeing his grandfather sleeping in the couch (as usual) but you found what you were looking for. You smiled to yourself, walking to the docks so you could call him. He hadn’t seen you yet, and as he downed what was left of his beer he stared absentmindedly at nowhere in particular.
You stopped dead in your tracks as Sinan fell into the water.
That didn’t last for long, as your head was spinning with too many thoughts before you knew it you were jumping into the water.
He was hugging himself with his eyes closed making no effort to return to the surface. As you swam closer to him you noticed how peaceful he looked. That state of peacefulness was abruptly stopped when you shook his arm violently. His eyes opened in confusion which then turned to surprise as you motioned to him to go up by pulling him by his arm.
As soon as you resurfaced, you began to cough and to rub you eyes, not noticing how Sinan stared at you dumbfounded.
“Why did you did that?” He said with anger as you two floated, him waiting for you to breathe normally again.
You furrowed your brows completely frustrated. “You could have drowned Sinan! You weren’t trying to swim, it was as if you wanted to.”
Your voice lowered in the end, Sinan seeing how the realization hit you as your features softened.
“Was it because of what Işik’s mom said?”
He didn’t answer and only helped you get out of the water up to the docks. You got up and as soon as Sinan got up too, you saw how his eyes were puffy and red, meaning he had cried. He opened his mouth to talk but closed it in surprise when you hugged him. You wrapped your arms around his neck and after a few seconds he wrapped them around your waist. You two were shaking, but you weren’t sure if it was only you because of the cold or if he was crying again. Once you pulled back you took a shaky breath feeling your heart pump faster than normal as Sinan gave you a small smile.
“I’m sorry I have been ignoring you (Y/N).”
You chuckled trying to advert his gaze looking at the floor. “I didn’t even notice.”
You two stayed like that for a few seconds. It wasn’t a cold night, but you were wearing some shorts and a oversized shirt which were now soaking wet.
“Fuck, we should be at the concert right now.”
“I’ll give you some clothes.”
He had replied right after you spoke, and before you could answer, he was already heading inside.
You changed in his bathroom into one of his jeans and a dark purple shirt. To make it fit you and look like it was your own you folded the jeans and tucked the shirt into a knot. You left your own clothes to dry next to Sinan’s and when you two were ready, you made your way to the concert.
You stood in your tiptoes to see if you could find any of your friends, and when you turned to Sinan to ask if he had seen them, he was kissing you.
If you thought your heart was beating faster earlier, you were sure it had left your body now.
You kissed him back of course, teenagers and music surrounding you two but you didn’t care. Right now you felt as if there wasn’t anyone else.
You had the biggest grin in your face once you separated. You were sure you were blushing so hard but you only focused on Sinan’s smile.
“Where have you been? This place is already so weird and the left me alone. Plus Burcu and Kemal are over there doing nothing”
Işik’s voice snapped both of you out of your thoughts. You were glad she hadn’t seen what had just happened, if she had she wouldn’t stop gushing over the two you asking a lot of questions.
“Okay, don’t worry. Let me see what I can do.” Sinan spoke before looking at you as Işik seemed too worried to notice.
“Come on, you’ll figure something out. I know you will”
He made his way to the two teachers and the you couldn’t only watch from where you were. You wrapped your arm around Işik’s shoulders as a small smile crept into your face. Even though you had to set up the two teachers to stay in school, you couldn’t stop thinking about what had just happened.
“Is that Sinan’s shirt?”
—————
Let me know if you liked it! In all the imagines with Sinan (unless it’s requested specifically), he doesn’t have a crush in Işik and viceversa so the reader can be friends with both, but if you wanted angst you could request it.
Requests are still open and comment what you thought about this imagine! 💞💞
