i am taking oppenheimer away from the public until everyone learns how to read and understand media because my god the public’s media literacy when it comes to oppenheimer is terribly bad.

#this is directed at anyone who thinks oppenheimer is abt justifying atomic bombs. pro-fascist. glorifying america. glorifying war.#how did we watch the same movie #since it’s a BIOGRAPHY in oppenheimer’s pov i see no point in putting the perspective of natives or japanese ppl into the movie #simply bc the movie isn’t abt that. it’s not the point. the point is it’s a biography.#the critique about the lack of women is the only one i’ve seen so far that actually makes sense #and obv i get if the movie just isn’t to your tastes so you dislike it #and there are other smaller things to complain about #but the movie did a great job at being what it is (a biography) and i loved it #it’s a great movie imo #and even if you disagree.... at least critique things that make sense to critique #and try to watch & understand the movie before writing it off as something it isn’t #hot take but i can’t anymore #divine rambles. ` 🕊#oppenheimer
