cause like yeah he had already betrayed at that point, but there was never any point in time where anyone thought to ask ro himself in a genuine way why he betrayed, why he decided to join the players. they didn't fight for him or care abt ro as himself. he never felt like they wanted him in the lala legion or in the foundation as ro, and they proved him right in thinking he was only valued as another number in their team!!

even now like nobody cares abt his actual reason for betraying back then, everyone just assumes that its bc mapicc asked and no other reason. even ZAM thinks thats how ro is— and its evident that nobody on the server rly understands ro and how he works/thinks besides mapicc. which is why ro always chooses mapicc. cause like yeah he does have an inherent bias for mapicc, just like mapicc has an inherent bias for him in return, but mapicc also understands what ro needs in a team and he values ro bc he is himself, and not for what he can provide

a good example of this is during the war for spawn in november. we find out a few days beforehand that the bfb have reached out to ro nd he goes to the empire w this information, and agrees to help them lure mane somewhere to shoot the jabshot at. absolutely nobody is surprised that ro is helping mapicc like wbk ro likes being by his side and mapicc likes having him there. like minute literally says smt along the lines of "he's (ro) always doing things to help mapicc wdym how" and zam, upon hearing abt this, assumes ro has abandoned the sticklers to be w the empire and is completely unsurprised bc well. again. its mapicc. of course ro is gonna agree to be by his side.

and both of them assume hes seemingly abandoning his day 1 team just bc mapicc asked for him, and it's mapicc who immediately defends ro when zam laughs abt how he thought ro would stick by his team this time around by bringing up the fact that rek and jumper arent here for ro. like yeah they both arent that active but they definitely play the server MUCH more often than ro does, so i dont think he strictly mean it in that way.

bc as much as i love the sticklers, thats my entire Thing on this blog, they never do anything as a team. its been nearly 6 months since all three of them were even on the server at the same time and interacted as a team. all three of them have only rly done solo projects so far this season and they havent rly made the effort to include or involve each other in what theyre doing— actually, jumper has ONCE and that was a few weeks ago when she began working on her megabase and ro couldnt even make it to the recording she wanted him involved in so she had to move on bc shes on a time crunch. and like in general ro heavily prefers doing projects and spending time w his teammates, he hates doing things alone, it makes him miserable to be doing big projects all alone but that on top of the fact that due to rek and jumper both not rly being as active either means its pretty likely that ro doesnt even feel like hes part of the team in a way that matters bc they never want to login or do anything w him. like yeah jumper and rek have logged in together, but theyre never there when hes on and he is never available when the two of them are online together so its like, is he even in a team at that point?

which is incredibly tragic tbh bc jumper does value and care for ro a lot!!! he is her day 1, and she wants to remain loyal to him (and rek) until the very end. she doesnt Want to lose him, but bc theyre never able to spend time together w how busy their schedules are, she doesnt understand ro or what he needs in a team. her and rek cant give ro the companionship he craves in a team OR the feeling of being cared for and wanted he needs bc they havent spent the time w him to understand him like mapicc has.

mapicc understands ro, they both understand how each other works and what they need to have the most fun in a team. what minute and zam don't understand is ro didn't "abandon" the sticklers just for the fun of it bc mapicc asked bc well, he hasnt left the sticklers at all LOL, but even if he did he has actual reasons for sticking closer to mapicc then he does his own team.

mapicc makes him feel wanted and valued bc he is ro.

like i can garuntee u that, had anyone else come to the empire w the offer to help against the bfb, he wouldnt have cared nearly as much. like yeah he wouldve thought it was cool but he wouldnt have trusted it as easily or been nearly as excited as he was bc a big part of his reason for being so happy abt it was Bc it was ro doing it. anyone else could have done it too, but it was ro and thats what mattered to him. mapicc likes having ro by his side and working w him bc hes roshambogames, his friend, not bc hes just another number who can be used against mane.

minute and zam were appreciative but only rly thought of it as "ro offering to help bc its mapicc wbk", other people like derap and kab were happy ro was involved but not bc it was HIM. they were happy to have another number on their side to fight against mane during the battle. the fact that nobody else really cared that it was ro on their side or thought of it as anything but dualities doing duality things is exactly why ro has the deep attachment to mapicc that he does— bc mapicc has Been the only person across seasons who has understood him and cared abt him in a way that actually makes him feel cared for.

i feel like i got lost in the yap sry for making it all abt dualities, theyve been on my mind lately and i dont talk abt them nearly as much as i should so it all just came out LMFAO but yeah i am eating roshambogames cubito . ro is very good at writing and playing a very interesting chara for someone whos last ls login was spent building a massive purple dick on a statue that was honouring a (previously) banned player statue LOL
