Happy belated birthday to this lovely man who brings me so much joy, Alexander Skarsgard.

I wanted to share a story about this photo and why I chose it. So, I had been in the hospital the past 3 months and it was a very difficult time to say the least. I was really going through a lot. During most of that time I had a breathing tube (and then later switched to a trachea tube) and was unable to talk. That was hard and quite frustrating. Communicating involved writing, texts, and playing a game of charades, haha. One of the common gestures I made was a thumbs up sign for a quick way to let others know I was okay. Well, during that time I came across this photo and it was just so fitting that I ended up making it my lock screen. It also was encouragement for me, it was like Alex was telling me it’d be okay. This is the second hospital stay Alex has helped me get through, among many other difficult times. 

It’s been 13 years since this incredibly handsome and talented goofball stole my heart, and it’s been such an amazing journey. So, happiest of birthdays, Alex, and cheers to many more. Another year with someone so special means so much to me. I look forward to continuing on this journey and for what’s to come. I’ll be here supporting and rooting for him all the way. <3
