New ref sheet finally done, this took me forever hrrrng.
More info and bonus drawings under the cut.
Right, so, most obvious change is that they now have very mouse/rat/rodent like legs. At least that's what I used for references.
They also now have a different coat colour in summer, which is the one that I wanted them to have from the very start, but back then I couldn't get the colour right, but I had grown too attached to the grey coat also so I made the coat variable. Also the winter coat may be a little bit fluffier than the summer coat, but that fact is not really very obvious if you look at them.
This ref sheet doesn't include clothing so you can see the new markings better, but they do occasionally like to wear clothes, such as shirts, hoodies, cloaks and certain kinds of pants that aren't uncomfortable on their legs.
Here's also some pics from my sketchbook from when I was conceptualizing:

Title: Night Vision Horses
Artist: Banksy
Banksy's true identity remains a mystery. Despite numerous theories and speculation, the artist has managed to keep his personal identity hidden, allowing his artwork to speak for itself.
Banksy's works are often politically charged. He uses his art to comment on societal issues such as war, capitalism, hypocrisy, and inequality. One of his most famous pieces, "Balloon Girl," was used in 2015 as an emblem of the Syrian people's struggle.
In 2015, Banksy opened a dystopian theme park called "Dismaland" in Weston-super-Mare, UK. The park, described as a "bemusement park," was a dark twist on Disneyland and included works from Banksy and other artists.
In 2018, Banksy caused a stir in the art world when one of his pieces self-destructed after being sold at auction. The artwork, "Girl With Balloon," was shredded by a device hidden in the frame immediately after being sold for more than £1 million at Sotheby's auction house.
In addition to being a renowned street artist, Banksy directed a 2010 documentary film titled "Exit Through the Gift Shop." The film, which tells the story of a French immigrant in Los Angeles who is obsessed with street art, was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature
Did the way you think about the art change from the first time you looked at it? Do you see anything different in the art now?
As you know from the beginning I said that I like to race and coincidentally the art has a car and next to it is a horse. It can not make me think of something else and the only thing I was guessing is, the horsepower I sound a little funny right but that's what I think when I first saw it. And after looking up some research I know that Banksy's use of horses, a symbol of freedom and power, wearing night vision goggles could be interpreted as a commentary on how war and technology can distort and manipulate natural forces. His inclusion of armed men and Greek gods might suggest a comparison between ancient and modern forms of power and conflict.

1. This artwork hangs in my living room. The artwork hangs among two similar pieces. The painting depicts a rose with unique and unusual colors. I love the blending of blue colors used with the hints of gold in the artwork. I admire the elegance it brings to my living room. I believe this piece was made with watercolors and colored pencils, considering the outlining and water like look. I love the painting and I think it brings my living room together with color and elegance.
2. I am an 18-year-old female.
My family is Trinidadian .
I hang out with my friends and travel for fun .
I work at Cheddars Scratch Kitchen as a part-time server and togo staff.
I enjoy nature, going to the beach, doing makeup, anything self-care
I love animals and enjoy tranquil environments
I love the city life, but I want a farm .
I love babies and want to be a NICU nurse one day .

WRITING AND RESEARCH -
Fact about myself: I am the first registered nurse in my family.
Ed Hardy 1995 Tweeter’s Recovery. Color Lithograph; 30” x 22”.

Ed Hardy did tattoos and he created the famous clothing people wear
Mr. Hardy has been drawing since he was 3 years old
Mr. Hardy’s dad moved to Japan and would send him cool souvenir’s that inspired his drawings
Mr. Hardy eventually went to Japan himself, but eventually came back to California where he opened up his own tattoo studio
This art work was inspired after the L.A. riots in 1992
The way I looked at the art did change from the first time I looked at it. At first, I thought it was randomly weird how all of those objects were put together, until I looked up the portrait and his meanings behind every object. He connected everything in his own way and he showed us his perspective on his own beliefs when he drew this. When I looked at this portrait again I saw how we as humans live our daily lives blindly, trusting in which ever higher power we believe in to move forward using our heart and mind to carry out our actions. We live everyday soaring high hoping for the best, not knowing what tomorrow will bring.
2. ART AND WRITING
Tumblr media
This is a tapestry that I have hanging in my room. It was created by HD printing; this is high resolution printing to be able to see the art’s details and clarity. Tapestry can be hung and used the way any person chooses; I chose to use it in my room for decoration. I think this tapestry is very beautiful because I love the sun, the moon and the stars. They make up a big part of our lives. We see the sun, moon, and stars daily, and many of us believe that spiritually, they are the reason for where we are today.
3. WRITING A SELF-PORTRAIT
I am a 27-year-old female. I am originally from Esperanzas, Coahuila, Mexico. In other words, Hope, Coahuila, Mexico. I am Latina. I love to spend time with my family, go out to eat with my cousins, and binge watch on Netflix. I currently work at Sarasota Memorial Hospital as a registered nurse. What makes me uniquely me is that I am a caring, independent, empathetic, willing to risk it all, resilient young lady. I was brought to Sarasota, FL by my parents from Mexico when I was 2 years old with my 2 older brothers. As I was growing up, I saw my parents work hard, to give us a life that they never had growing up. I really took that into consideration, and now I do the same for them. They are my biggest priority, and they are the reason I do my best to make them proud. I learned to be hard working. I learned to be kind. I learned to be strong. Most of all, I learned that even when there are rough patches in my life, I must keep going.

First Artworks
1. As an introduction, tell us one little known fact about you.
A lot of people don't know that I'm pretty nerdy. I'm a big fan of marvel and play video games in my free time.
2. Then, in list form, detail 5 new facts you were able to find out about your assigned artist or the art work.
a. The artists spent approximately $21 million on creating this art work.
b. 800 workers were hired to install all of the gates for this artwork.
c. Christo and Jeanne-Claude were a married couple that created art that focused on nature.
d. They did not accept any donations or sponsorships to pay for their artwork, they paid for the supplies themselves.
e. They raised money to pay for this artwork by selling t-shirts that said "Nurture New York's Nature".
3. Write a short paragraph (4 sentences) answering these questions: Did the way you think about the art change from the first time you looked at it? Do you see anything different in the art now?
The first image I saw of this artwork was a sketch of the gates, so I thought it was just a sketch of nature. However, upon further research I learned that they were actual gates made out of fabric and steel. This made me realize that art can be much more than just paint on a piece of paper. I really like that the artists promoted saving the environment.

A vent drawing and poem from yesterday (September 17th 2023)
Poem Transcription:
All too often , when I again notice the Pike lodged in my chest, and how it hurts, dull and deep, scraping against my insides with every move I make, I start to struggle and thrash anew, just as if I had only now for the first time been freshly impaled, feeling the white, hot pain and refusing to accept that I will feel these scars forever.

Writing a Self-Portrait - Perceptual Profile
What “baggage” are you bringing along when you look at art? How old are you? What is the gender you primarily align with? Where are you from? What is your ethnicity? What do you do for fun? Are you a member of any organized group? Where do you work? What makes you uniquely you? This helps us see from what exact point in the world we view and receive visual information.
I'm 20 years old, male, from Vietnam, and I'm moving down from California. For fun, I enjoy watching action movies or playing adventure games, going out with my friends, and hustling. Last semester grateful that I was one on the president list. Unfortunately, I'm not a member of any organized group. I'm a receptionist at a massage spa. My world is a logical one, one filled with motivation, work hard, and ambition. I like everything that is logical and I'm perfectionist.
