Medik8 30ml - this one has just six ingredients therefore pretty concentrated 🙌: Aqua, Panthenol, Sodium Hyaluronate (HAcid), Calcium Pantothenate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Citric Acid. Clean mix! The Ordinary HA 30ml - This contains twenty two ingredients: 🙄 Aqua (Water), Sodium Hyaluronate Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Panthenol, Ahnfeltia Concinna Extract, Glycerin, Pentylene Glycol, Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6, PPG-26-Buteth-26, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Citric Acid, Ethoxydiglycol, Caprylyl Glycol, Hexylene Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Phenoxyethanol, Chlorphenesin. This formula contains oil, which coats the pores and is a water 'repellant' - so it may create a silkier feel but how does this work for blemish prone skin or attract water?? Verdict: Medik8 is non-acnegenic by virtue of what it doesnt have – oils and other comedogenic ingredients. Sheet masks are not created equal and if you know what to look for, you will more likely have a better experience with them. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Product name: I Mask Product company: @imageskincare Size and Cost:$7 each ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Sensory Rating: 7/10⭐️ This mask has a bit stiffer of a texture and fits on the skin looser than a Biocellulose mask would. Scent is light and mask is drenched in a thick gel serum. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Ingredient lineup: 7 /10⭐️ For a sheet mask, ingredients aren’t bad, Niacinamide, Arbutin and Aloe are in top 10 along with a few stabilizers and texture enhancers. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Packaging: 7/ 10⭐️ As far as sheet masks go, packaging is single dose and does create some waste. Who here has been having issues with makeup lately? Have you been feeling like areas have been drying out or flaking off? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Winter season can hit hard and our skin functions slow down a bit, making skin dry, flaky and sensitive. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ All of these things combined can make it hard for products to absorb into our skin and hydrate properly. This leaves a horrible canvas for makeup to sit on top of. I literally finished doing my makeup last week and noticed my makeup starting to ball up and flake off. So grosssssss! 🤢 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ How do you fix this? Up your skin care routine. Try exfoliating just a bit more. Maybe add a nice AHA toner to your routine every other day or use that enzyme peel a couple times a week. This will prep skin and get it ready to absorb the moisture headed it’s way. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ After exfoliating, try doing mini layers of essences, serums, moisturizers and then facial oils. Using a small amount at a time can help skin absorb everything fully. Once one mini layer has absorbed, move to the next thickest product and apply a mini layer of that. End these layers by patting on a few drops of facial oil (or even mix this oil with your daily Tinted moisturizer or foundation). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Do you have any winter skin or makeup tricks you use?
