I'm sorry but the idea of Sabine being ex-assassin/mercenary but never tells Marinette is funny. Like yeah Marinette admits that her mom knows things and she has never questioned it, thinking it's what moms are supposed to know. Things are peachy and fine.

Then Marinette announces she's in a relationship and her parents are like "that's great, honey! Invite them over!"

Cue Marinette shuffling on her feet and mumbling about having two partners and like, Tom and Sabine are supportive parents, alright and they are all "it's ok, darling! We have enough space!"

So Marinette brings her partners home and sure her parents love Dick alright. Then they turn to the other partner and Sabine.exe crashed.

Like she saw Deathstroke's face once and never did she think that she would see it again but apparently life is like that.

Marinette and her are going to have a discussion on whether she, and by extension Dick, is being safe or not.

ok but omegaverse where marinette is dick's neighbor who takes care of him when dick finds out he's pregnant (courtesy of slade because I ship sladick) and he's freaking out over how he should proceed and whether or not he should call slade right now in the middle of work while marinette is very calmly cleaning up his place and cooking him food and making sure he drinks enough water

they also cuddle in a nest made of blankies and pillows

enters slade who comes in, ready to fight some alphas to get to his... mate? and then finds marinette there with a raised eyebrow and like "oh so your ass of a mate is here"

meanwhile dick is clinging onto marinette and being "can we keep her???"

she is totally fine with dick hooking up with other people on the side as long as she is informed because consent matters duh and she is very much grateful that slade agreed to help them out

well marinette is fine with those two hooking up though she'd prefer it if the three of them also hook up.

it is just slade is a possessive bastard and like she's worried that slade would fight her for dick because of course slade doesn't give shit on who he has to fight

meanwhile slade is spoiled rotten and oops so maybe it's not just only dick huh...

Since I usually write Marinette in sladicknette as like the sane one but upon more reflection, I have come to a realization that Marinette is somewhere between Dick and Slade.

Like she hangs out with deities and to the kwamiis, morals are just suggestions. And that, I think, would one way or another affect her.

Marinette can distinguish between morally right and wrong but she also acknowledge that the gray exists. And has no trouble wading into the gray, or even the more morally not right options if push comes to shove

Ok I wrote this in discord but i should probably put it here for easy access. Right so omegaverse sladicknette that starts out as dickinette actually.

Like Dick and Marinette are an omega/omega couple. And things are great :D

Until of course, their heats sync and it's just double whammies because their usually three-to-seven-day heat is twice longer and hits harder and they are suffering. And yes, there are heat suppressants and they do take them.

The problem is that they are both hard-working people who regularly forget to take care of themselves and thus forgetting to taking their pills and ends up in heat and pushing their partner into a sympathetic heat.

Enters Dick's baby brother who stops by for cuddles sometimes. Damian then suggests throwing an alpha in the midst might help them a bit.

And so the thing about Dick is that he knows lots of people. And most of them would gladly accept if they ask.

But he's not sure he can look them in the eyes again if he agrees to take his friends' help. And civilians would ask too many questions about his scars and everything.

So they settle on calling in Slade. Because sure it would mean having other person in their bed but their heats wouldn't be like that and would probably get better.

Marinette has prepared herself for jealousy at the fact that one of Dick's exes would be in their nest but apparently, she kinda likes having another person in their nest.

Long story short: they hook up lol

Lmao I finished almost all of my exams today and was like "I want to read Slade x Dick x Marinette" and went up to AO3 to read.

No wonder I read the first paragraph and was like "wait... this is..."

From what I see, sladicknette is like Dick on the hero side while Slade leaning towards the villain side (because he's hired for that kind of things more often) and Marinette is the middle ground

That's because while she leans on the hero side of things, she is also a) retired so no biased and b) a regular conversation partner with the kwamiis so don't give much shit fir morals.

But yes anything about the masks is left at the door - or window, depending on how they got in. They don't discuss whether this or that is right or wrong.
