My eczema is really bad. Is there anything over the counter i can use thats stronger than the 1% hydrocortisone cream?

I'm gonna call my doctor and see if he'll call in the prescription strength cortisone cream since that's fixed me in the past when I was a teen and it got this bad. But it's a new doctor and when I was a teen I had to go in person and id really rather just call it in then make an appt wait a month with red itchy peeling face before I can finally get something to fix this

#rant #eczema #anyone else have eczema? help me out with any tips u got? please #i usually use rose oil to moisturize to keep it away #and over the counter hydrocortizone 1% cream when it starts getting Super Red and dry during flare ups #but its not gotten this bad since i was like 15 #im putting hydrocortizone on 4 times a day and its keeping it from peeling/getting worse #but theres clear huge red patches on both cheeks next to my mouth and nose #and they just are NOT healing up #i read uv rays might help but idk how long theyd help and its getting cloudy here so i cant lay in sun #i could go to a tanner but only once not daily ToT #i just need to get it under control enough that over the counter hydrocortizone and my rose hip oil will be enoygh again #edit: its definitely eczema as only hydrocortizone cream seems to be calming it a bit. but its still large red patches just less itchy #slightly less raised with the hydrocortizone. but its just not strong enough ;-;
