Wanda opened the door to her bedroom and stuck her head out like she was on reconnaissance. When it just revealed the living room with Bucky making breakfast, she relaxed.

"Thank god, you took me seriously when I said no birthday shit." She told him as she padded out of the bedroom, satisfied the room hadn't been turned into a nightmare overnight. Whilst her attitude to her birthday had softened in recent times, she still wouldn't accept balloons, banners or party hats.

Was he really being serious right now? Sure he was a kid . . . But was Bucky still thinking he could tell RJ what to do? Eyes looked up from the tv he had been watching. It was late, and he should be asleep. But sleep wasn't about to find him any time soon. RJ rolled his eyes, before looking back to the tv. Of all the people in the world, Bucky was someone who understood his situation more than anyone, but the kid still kept that wall up.

"Don't need sleep." He answered rather plainly. "'M fine." Another lie. He wasn't fine. It had already been two nights he had gone with only an hour of sleep.

There was perks and downsides with compounds.... The downside was absolutely that someone always seemed to be awake when they shouldn't. "Thought everyone was asleep?" Bucky said when Sharon caught him walk in, yeah this was going to be embarrassing.

Eyes ran over the other taking in his appearance as he spoke. Yep. That was definitely what she’d seen him wear yesterday and he didn’t have a mission on last she checked. Lifting her spoon she took another bite of her cereal. A brow raised as she crunched for a moment.

“So did I.”

There were so many comments she could make like ‘look what Alpine dragged in’ but nothing seemed good enough for that moment. Instead she just looked on at him amused from her spot at the counter. “Have a good night?”
