( bsd ) i really actually hate when people ship akutagawa and dazai and claim it’s a healthy relationship. hell, i wouldn’t even write it as a toxic ship, and i’m all for that kind of stuff. i’m a very new aku mun -- i’ve barely written him at all, in fact -- but in that time i’ve been exposed to a lot of aku/dazai content and it literally makes me sick to my stomach. i wish people would understand that dazai essentially groomed and abused aku! i really wish people would understand that it’s NOT attractive or quirky or whatever else to ship an abuse victim with an abuser.

“oh, but aku loves dazai! he’s obsessed with him! his entire life’s mission is to get dazai’s approval and attention!”

yes! because dazai really fucking groomed him! because dazai made himself the only source of light in aku’s life and set an impossible standard! sure, i know aku wasn’t perfect from the start -- i understand that dazai’s entire thing was trying to get aku to show some mercy, but that doesn’t excuse the way he treated him! that doesn’t excuse grooming him to only value his own life as a human being when he could get dazai’s approval! fuck!!!!!!!

tl;dr: i hate when people ship aku and dazai because dazai fucking IS his abuser! dazai did fucking abuse him! that’s not healthy! fucking shit!!!!

Acceptance, however, will bring another attempt at picking her little brother up, something they haven’t tried in a while. No promises that it won’t end just as prior efforts did, no promises of anything. It’s the thought that counts, right?                 And   yet   ...   as   he   turns   and   was   greeted   with   the   sight   of   Kyouka   -   neechan's   outstretched   arms,   the   child   is   EAGER   to   volunteer.   Even   if   the   two   of   them   would   fail,   it   was   still   FUN   to   spend   time   with   Neechan   !   And   fun   was   something   that   hardly   came   by   in   the   Port   Mafia.

               '   Yeah   !   We'll   do   it   this   time,   Neechan   !   '

               With   those   words,   he   moves   closer   to   her;   raising   his   own   arms   to   allow   Kyouka   -   neechan   to   wrap   her   own   around   his   body   to   try   to   lift   him   up.

it  is  neither  common  nor  uncommon  to  receive  things  in  tribute  .  there  is  nothing  someone  will  not  give  to  a  being  they  perceive  as  being  able  to  solve  all  their  problems  (     which  you  can  ,  so  long  as  the  problems  involve  death  and  perhaps  insanity     )  .

gifts  given  in  tribute  are  ordinarily  not  given  in  person  .  they  are  also  ordinarily  not  hot  chocolate  .

but  the  silent  assassin  girl  seems  adamant  you  take  it  .  so  you  do  .  you  are  fond  of  chocolate  ,  a  human  creation  you  enjoy  more  than  most  .  those  who  worship  what  they  do  not  understand  may  call  you  above  such  small  pleasures  (     but  no  pleasure  is  small  ,  or  big  ,  or  anything  but  the  positive  reaction  to  something  .     )  but  you  are  above  nothing  as  everyone  is  above  everyone  else  .

a  moment  flashes  ,  a  paling  of  your  skin  and  an  emptiness  of  your  eyes  .  then  cup  and  chocolate  are  gone  ,  devoured  by  an  inhuman  gaping  maw  .
