#sneasel won btw! ^^

Propaganda for both shiny Weavile and shiny Sneasel:

Sneasel was my first shiny in Pokémon Go (hatched from an egg, no event going on) who I quickly evolved into a Weavile! He is my pride and joy.

But it gets better. A couple of days later, I caught two MORE shiny sneasels BACK TO BACK in the same parking lot (I cannot stress enough there was NOT a shiny event that day) who are now my beautiful daughter and son Artemis and Apollo; I made it their lore that my original shiny Weavile is their adopted dad. I love all three of my pink lemonade bitches So Dearly you should vote for them.

Before going to fight the gym I went on a quick trip to the underground with the explorer kit (I always love the underground so much playing the game growing up and am really excited what they are going to do with it in the remakes btw)

I actually found a armor fossil while down there so now I have 3 different fossils to go and revive once I have the chance to do so which means 3 additional encounters for me! (assuming they are randomized which I don't know yet lol)

After stocking up on a few more healing items I went ahead and entered the gym to finally win my second badge

The gym trainers all didn't pose mich of a challenge. They sent Sneasel & Qwilfish, Vigoroth & Venusaur & Cubone and Snubbull in respectively

The gym leader was a little tougher tho Gardenia sent in Poliwrath, Latios and Electabuzz

Especially Latios was really hard to beat because I don't have any Mon on my team which hits psychic types very effective so I just poisoned it with Rafflesia my Vileplume and stalled it out until the poison took care of it

And thus I won the second badge without any losses luckily

The TM Gardenia gifted me was the TM for Trick so I have really no clue if that is ever gonna be useful or not
