How do you think Levi and Mikasa confessed their love to each other?

Hi Anonymous! Thanks for your question.

To begin with, I ship Levi and Mikasa of course but I want to make it clear that my answer will remain based on IF Levi and Mikasa love each other.

I may disappoint you, but I don't think Levi and Mikasa are the type to openly and easily say "I love you" or stuff like "You're the love of my life." "Marry me."

For me, Levi is a man of action so therefore I would see his feelings expressed more through actions like protecting her, supporting her, being what she needs in the moment (a confidant, an accomplice, a punching bag, an advisor, a mentor…. etc.), he could be more tactile with her than with others (a hand on her shoulder, a light ruffle/caress on her hair, holding her back briefly by her hand or waist, rubbing her back for comfort, grabbing her face/arm/legs sharply if he suspects that she is injured…etc.) but mostly with a LOT of eye contact, eyes are the window to the soul after all. He could also express it verbally but implicitly with undertones like "I'm on your side/I'm with you." "I'm not favoring you/her, it's just that it annoys me less." And come on let's go crazy why not more concrete stuff like, "I'm not really an envious person but sometimes it pisses me off when I see that titan brat… he has something that I want and doesn't even know it."

Nevertheless, I believe that Levi is able to say "I love you". To me, he would have no problem assuming his feelings once he understood the nature of them but just wouldn't want to flaunt them. So eventually, he might say it if he thinks it's useful, it wouldn't necessarily be emotional but maybe more pragmatic? For example, I can very well imagine a scene where Mikasa would be upset by something Levi might have said or done or not done, she would ask him explanations, shooting him with her burning eyes and raising her voice while Levi would stay calm and give her a short, simple and clear answer: "I love you. " As if he was just saying a fact, letting Mikasa do what she wants with it, without expecting anything in return, because for him it's one-sided and he has accepted it. Mikasa feels uncomfortable and looks away from Levi. (a little like Daenerys in this scene of GoT :

Concerning Mikasa, as I think she's shy on that level it would take time but she will get there for sure. And if she falls in love with Levi in the original SnK plot I think she would first be in denial for a long time given the grudge she had against him after the court so I don't think she would realize or accept her feelings quickly and easily. On the other hand, I think that unlike Levi, she will be really emotional but she would only be able to confess her feelings verbally and clearly in a critical moment like he or she is about to die, that she knows they or one of them wouldn't make it, it's the end so she has nothing left to lose. OR eventually in a happy-ending where, after a long road full of pitfalls, she will thank Levi for having been there for her no matter what and will tell him with kind eyes and a sweet, genuine smile that she has always loved him… well almost always!

To summarize, Levi would (possibly) be the first but Mikasa will express it more clearly and emotionally.

Jean: He loves long hair on women. He believes that it is a very important characteristic in female beauty. I really believe in this headcanon that he really likes women with long dark hair.

Armin: He likes hands. When he feels sad (o vice versa), putting your hands together helps him (and you) a lot.

Levi: He loves eyes. He believes that they are a window to the soul and that just by looking at a person in the eyes you can guess their intentions.

Connie: He loves shoulders and legs. He quickly gets intoxicated every time he sees them. He likes women with a sense of humor.

Annon-Guy: Capcom - I can understand why you don't like Street Fighter, but what about Darkstalkers, Strider and the Capcom Vs. Series?

I’ll leave reading this to be “optional” (since I still personally don’t like talking about it, TLDR: GG4L).

In times past those did interest me, including X-Men Children of the Atom and Marvel Super Heroes, even Street Fighter Alpha 3 and SFIII Third Strike.  Though I couldn’t find myself playing the older games as much.

I also held interest in Warzard (Red Earth) and Cyberbots as well... SFEX3 (Arika later turned this in to Fighting EX Layer) was also interesting to me to a degree.

Even CVS2 had its own uniqueness... but most of what I found interesting lay more on the SNK side of things than anything done by Capcom.

I am also a *huge* fan of Strider, Moon Diver, and lots of other things by Motomiya Kikaku to this very day.

I think.... it was some time after Darkstalkers 3 (the PSX version, in fact the only version of that game I ever enjoyed) that Capcom basically cut off it’s own creative limbs (fired key production staff), that things went sour for them, but also for myself.

There was a small window of time when I enjoyed Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3, but it was very brief... and not really something I could attach myself to for an extended period for various reasons (the FGC “scene” being part of those reasons).

It just felt like I was surrounded by a lot of immature players at the time, and I couldn’t motivate myself to enjoy the same content they did.

And while I’ve had “similar” experiences even within the BB and GG communities (toxic animosity, etc), the key difference was what I experienced on the “development side” of those games... the passion being exuded by the likes of Mori and Ishiwatari and the creativity from their teams, along with the humor, kept me coming back for more.

Capcom felt like a dry barren field, than anything especially colorful, at least around the time of SFIV onwards.

A lot of time has passed since then, I suppose.... and it would be hypocritical of me to sit in judgement for all their hard work at fixing what mistakes they’ve made.... but.... I still think Darkstalkers was one of the games they could’ve done something with in a big way if they so much as tried.

Right now, Guilty Gear Strive and Samurai Shodown feel like my only real solace in fighting games (well, Soul Calibur and Granblue Fantasy Versus as well perhaps).... but it takes a long time for such scars to heal.

Please be understanding, based on what I’ve gone through.

I am getting on in years, so fighting games are not as big a priority as they once were when I was younger... so I have to pick and choose which games bring the most joy in my life very carefully these days.

And right now, I will choose Guilty Gear, every time.

About the previous ask (Gabi's inheriting Eren's power theory) The people who were talking about the theory literally have no solid evidence. They just think that Eren was communicating with the future successor of the attack titan in the mirror scene, and since Gabi was talking about no giving up in front of a similar mirror, they think it's a foreshadowing that she could inherit Eren's power. What they say is just based on this parallel . And thanks for the answer, I agree with you ❤.

You know, I never understood the obsession the fandom has with that mirror in chapter 106. Before this Gabi thing, it was Eren communicating with little Eren in that cabin. What’s up with that? Am I missing some pop culture reference to mirrors and their use in fiction? As far as I know, mirrors are narrative instruments of self-reflection and self-affirmation (which is what Eren does: he reaffirms his resolve by staring dead ahead into his own soul…). 

I don’t know what the link between a mirror and a fucking window was back when the fandom insisted Eren was manipulating little Eren.

And now I don’t know why Eren would communicate with Gabi this time. Like, if we try and use for this purpose the only time a mirror was used with meaning in SnK, then we can pick apart that one scene of Eren seeing Frieda looking at herself in the mirror, but it still doesn’t make any sense:

- Eren, when seeing that memory, wasn’t looking into a mirror/window;

- Eren didn’t receive any message or intention at the time;

- the meaning behind the use of a mirror was clearly just to unveil some stuff about Frieda AND Eren AND Grisha, so we could try and put the pieces together about what happened to her;

- Frieda never had the Attack Titan so it can’t be used as Eren’s/the AT’s ability, it was just a normal memory. Also, the Attack Titan can only send* memories to the past, so it doesn’t make sense for Gabi to “receive” something from the past. She should see something from the future, if anything at all. (*we still don’t know if it’s a choice of the shifter or it’s random!)

- If Gabi saw Eren reflected in her own mirror much like Eren saw Frieda, no way she would be fired up. She would be spooked. The same applies if she merely received a voicecall message from Eren (just look at how scared Grisha was).

Basically, the two scenes aren’t linked based on the Attack Titan’s abilities. So…I guess that’s it? This “theory” makes no sense. I still think it’s just a poorly-depicted, awkward parallel.

“Grinning Face With Sweat” (terrible name for a great emoji) is an underrated emoji, it’s so versatile and conveys such a specific emotion that I cannot truly describe

ANYWAY LET’S GET INTO IT!!

Apple: all apple face emojis look disturbing, this one particularly so. The mouth is just a little too wide, like a titan from SNK. the gradient on the sweat is making me uneasy. 2/10 it could be worse I guess.

Google: somehow this mouth is even WORSE. whoever designed this has never seen a face before and clearly designed this based on someone’s poor description of what a mouth looks like. the gradient is giving it 5 o’clock shadow, not necessarily negative just pointing it out. 1/10 this face will haunt me in my dreams tonight.

Microsoft: it’s real cute, just an adorably embarrassed little pal. 8/10 the more i look at it, the more the sweat drop looks like a weird blue horn

Samsung: it’s fine, the weird gradient is back. Once again, this one looks just a little too happy. 6/10 not nearly as cute as the microsoft one

WhatsApp: almost identical to the apple one really. only of note because it’s one of two to put the sweat drop on the other side. 3/10 despite the swap it fills me with just a little bit less anxiety than the apple one.

Twitter: looks like their having a little chuckle to themself, the shape of the tooth(?) is just off enough to disturb me 4/10.

SNK has always been a wild ride, but I don't believe I've ever been this excited and frustrated that I don't have the next chapter in my hands RIGHT NOW- if only to satisfy the itch of knowing which half-hidden face is who from Paradis. And also to figure out what they've done to Porco, Pieck and Zeke to neutralize them while Eren gives Reiner the most uncomfortable tableside chat.

My heart was pounding throughout the entire chapter. The last time that happened was chapter 84 and I gotta say, I finally feel like this whole Marley arc has been worth it. What an adrenaline rush it's become! Now that's now Attack On Titan is supposed to be. I can't wait to see everybody else again and proceed to reach the climax of the story.

When I first read the chapter and found similiarities between Connie and the trap-kun soldier I was like "what the fuck?!" And than I thought Connie being that soldier would be absolutely LIT.

I don't think any of the background characters are people we know. We saw how Isayama does that with Amputee-Kun, he appeared several chapters before the official reveal and there was no doubt once it was done. Trapdoor-kun, Helos Cosplayer, anyone else? Personally I really hate how people are making these predictions and analyzing details like chin shape in attempt to recognize him. Pieck was actually exactly right! I always loved her design and oppressed but trying her best herb merchant aesthetic. So cool that she saved the lives of Reiner and Zeke, her influence on character relationships and the plot.

Regarding Eren he ackwonledged that Reiner and co. were just clueless kids trying to save the world when they destroyed the Wall. And he is stating that he as well has been forced in this role. I think he is trying to bring Reiner to his side as well as to remove a Warrior (and Falco) from the stage where things will soon go wild.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Attack on Titan. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Eren's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realize that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Attack on Titan truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Zeke's existential catchphrase "As expected of Pieck 👉😶👉," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Hajime Isayama's genius unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools... how I pity them. 😂 And yes by the way, I DO have a Reiner and Historia tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.

SnK Crack Theory Week Day 1-The Progenitor and Reincarnation

Reincarnation is something that has often been the topic of debate in the Shingeki fandom. Today I shall prove the existence of at least one reincarnation line, which I believe Isayama has made painfully obvious from the start.

The Sign of the Origin of the Superbeing known as Erwin Smith is obviously his Eyebrows, which shall henceforth be known as the Progenitor. The Progenitor goes by many names and takes many forms, but has chosen the form of thick, luscious eyebrows for the past millennia. The first inheritor of the Progenitor was none other than Ymir Fritz, who was blessed with much wisdom, knowledge and power. Many wondered at the source of these blessings, when they were clearly on her face the entire time. 

The eyes are the windows to the soul, after all, and if that is true then they eyebrows are the window frames that colour our perceptions. A perfect disguise, genius in application, yet subtle enough that the current holder of the Progenitor is able to live freely in society.

Even from this great distance we can sense the greatness coming from plucked perfection. 

Some believe the luxurious blonde locks of the Origin of all Organic Species was the source of the Eyebrow Form. 

Many believe the Progenitor disappeared after Ymir Fritz died, but her bonding with it allows her to be continuously reincarnated into those deemed worthy, granting them various powers and blessings. When our story begins, it rests with none other than our Erwin Smith.

The eyebrows are a classic sign. Other signals of reincarnation include:

Experiencing weird, creepy visions- 

 and giving a damn good speech.

These all grant the Progenitor power- the bigger the eyebrows, the stronger the Progenitor.

When Erwin Smith departed this world, Ymir Fritz and her eyebrows were reincarnated into Armin Arlert, who had been showing signs of potential as the story progressed, with his accidental modelling:

and now having weird, creepy visions.

We don’t know what he looks like in the four years since we last saw him, but chances are his eyebrows have grown more than his hair. We also know Ymir Fritz and the Progenitor was reincarnated into him because of this dialogue:

Is it possible that Levi knows more about this process than he lets on? It may be wise to keep an eye on him as we move forward. After all, he was devoted to the previous Holder.  Perhaps one day, all of Eldia will accept Armin as their Eyebrow Overlord, blessed with the Progenitor Eyebrows and the knowledge that he is the next step of the Progenitor Cycle that has continued uninterrupted for nearly 2000 years.

His designs include the I Love New York logo, the psychedelic Bob Dylan poster, and the logos for DC Comics, Stony Brook University, and Brooklyn Brewery. His artwork has been featured in exhibits, and placed in permanent collections in many museums worldwide. “I NY,” his logo for a 1977 campaign to promote tourism in New York State, achieved even wider currency. Queensland researchers have helped NASA discover a new planet the size of Neptune, "only" 32 light-years away. NASA first spotted the planet two years ago and have been working to confirm its existence with researchers around the world, including a team at the Mount Kent observatory, south of Toowoomba. John B. Gorrie, American physician, scientist, inventor of mechanical cooling, and humanitarian. Dr. Gorrie's medical research involved the study of tropical diseases. At the time the theory that bad air — mal-aria — caused diseases was a prevalent hypothesis and based on this theory, he urged draining the swamps and the cooling of sickrooms. For this he cooled rooms with ice in a basin suspended from the ceiling. Cool air, being heavier, flowed down across the patient and through an opening near the floor. Since it was necessary to transport ice by boat from the northern lakes, Gorrie experimented with making artificial ice. After 1845, gave up his medical practice to pursue refrigeration products. On May 6, 1851, Gorrie was granted Patent No. 8080 for a machine to make ice. The original model of this machine and the scientific articles he wrote are at the Smithsonian Institution. Joseph Ludwig Franz Ressel,Austrian forester and inventor of Czech-German descent, who designed one of the first working ship's propellers. He worked for the Austrian government as a forester in the more southern parts of the monarchy, including in Motovun,Istria (modern-day Croatia). His work was to secure a supply of quality wood for the Navy. He worked in Landstrass (Kostanjevica on the Krka river in Carniola in modern-day Slovenia), where he tested his ship propellers for the first time. In 1821 he was transferred to Trieste (modern-day Italy), the biggest port of the Austrian Empire, where his tests were successful. He was awarded a propeller patent in 1827. He modified a steam-powered boat Civetta by 1829 and test-drove it in the Trieste harbor at six knots before the steam conduits exploded. Because of this misfortune, the police banned further testing. The explosion was not caused by the tested propeller as many believed at the time. He and his brother, Charles Horace Mayo, both joined their father's private medical practice in Rochester, Minnesota, US, after graduating from medical school in the 1880s. In 1919, that practice became the not-for-profit Mayo Clinic. On August 21, 1883, a tornado struck Rochester, killing 29 people and seriously injuring over 55 others. The Globe was built by Shakespeare’s acting company, the Lord Chamberlain’s Men, in 1599 from the timbers of London’s very first permanent theater, Burbage’s Theater, built in 1576. Before James Burbage built his theater, plays and dramatic performances were ad hoc affairs, performed on street corners and in the yards of inns. However, the Common Council of London, in 1574, started licensing theatrical pieces performed in inn yards within the city limits. To escape the restriction, actor James Burbage built his own theater on land he leased outside the city limits. When Burbage’s lease ran out, the Lord Chamberlain’s men moved the timbers to a new location and created the Globe. On 29 June 1613, the Globe Theatre went up in flames during a performance of Henry VIII. A theatrical cannon, set off during the performance, misfired, igniting the wooden beams and thatching. According to one of the few surviving documents of the event, no one was hurt except a man whose burning breeches were put out with a bottle of ale.
