Absolutely vibrating out of my skin thinking about the episode in Earthspark where Hashtag tells Starscream that

"Sometimes bad things happen it isn't always our fault"

Like OOOOOHHUGBAUYRBYUBYU

I fucking adore the way hes written in Earthspark

Hes still bitter and annoying but its actually acknowledged that he has a valid reason to be angry

The treatment he received under Megatron is still very much validated while also acknowledging that they have both changed over time

In an earlier episode when Bee is asking how Megatron used to get control of his troops he says that he used to intimidate them

So its very much established that they Megatron still wasn't good during the war in this continuity

And just

The acknowledgment from Hashtag that what he went through was valid and sucked and that it wasn't his fault while also pointing out that that doesn't make it okay for him to turn around and act like Megatron did

I love it

I love it so much it actually makes me bonkers

StoryCon 2025 Launch

The famous Teen Author Boot Camp program is EXPANDING!!!

I've attended events put on by Operation Literacy since I was a teenager, and I'm honored to be one of their Youth Outreach Interns this year! The switch from Teen Author Boot Camp to StoryCon is an exciting one, but we guarantee it's only more of what you've already grown to love from our organization!

StoryCon has tracks for all ages; we're taking the teen programs that are so beloved, and adding things for the general public, for educators, and for tweens! There are also masterclasses, a massive expo hall, and a main stage celebrating story in its many forms. Come join the party at the Salt Palace, February 21-22, 2025!

One of the largest book events ever to come to Utah, StoryCon is a writing conference and fan expo put on by Operation Literacy, a 501c3 nonprofit with a special emphasis in serving kids from under-served populations. Every ticket purchased helps provide access for more young writers and readers.

So many awesome authors will be attending our first year as StoryCon, including Jeff Kinney, Dhonielle Clayton, Shannon Hale, Neal Shusterman, Marissa Meyers, and many more! The full list of 14 keynotes and featured authors list is up TODAY along with registration over at StoryCon.org.

ngl it’s genuinely kinda crazy how much of my life i have lost to mental illness :3 lol

#purrs #not time wise necessarily but like… aspect wise. like talking to my friends and pursuing hobbies and doing things that give my life meaning #and the very nature of the mental illness reinforces the detachment and fills me with so so so much shame for having lost these things that #it deters me from fighting to get it back. i feel like my life has gotten so gaunt since covid hit and sometimes it occurs to me how many #terrible things ahve happened and how im still pushing forward and everything is fine except for when i Remember. im feeling it now mr krab #delete later #like i used to be someone who hung out with my friends at least once a week and texted back and wrote poetry and played piano and kept my #room clean and took great care to stay organized and connected. and now at my own hands i am spiralling through space. im fighting my way #out of the quicksand i really think i am trying to but im still very much in the quicksand 😻#side note idk if anyone else is having this problem but lately tumblr has been adding two hashtags to tags which keeps knocking off an #extra character to the end of my tags and it’s fucking annoying. i meant *krabs not krab lol

i love how passionate and emotional fic seongjoong is when irl they're like... an arranged marriage... lol

#not to say that they don't like each other or anything but. atz in particular seem quite aware (and not hiding it) of the practice of #ships -- not as in 'fans produce fanworks of you' but rather 'fans like your dynamics! play it up a little'#and the leader + the second 'highest' member are almost always shipped together as the 'mom' and 'dad'#which kind of doesn't make sense because a marriage usually precedes having children but in kpop is like. well here's a group and you're #two eldest members so you automatically get the mom/dad positions. sometimes it works -- whether automatically or because the #aforementioned members feel the need to take care of other members as they're the eldest -- but sometimes the dynamic is clearly #just there for the fans. and i can't help but notice that a whole bunch of 'moments' in 'seongjoong compilations' are like... not authentic #moments of them enjoying their time together but them being awkward/having awkward banter/doing fanservice during fanmeetings #and that's Different from the organic air ie woosan have #this is not to make fun of seongjoong fans because I PERSONALLY put very dramatic seongjoong in my hashtag Fic Verse #but then my fic verse was kickstarted because of that hwalazia magic and a single line in atz diary from fever 1. so it is. shall we say.#not particularly canon-inspired.#but i WOULD kill and die for every single fanfiction in which seongjoong aren't romantic sweethearts at the first sight but rather Struggle #i feel like Struggling is this... sort of a facet of their Brand... and so is mutually taking care of each other lol #they're like. this arranged marriage couple who grew to care about each other. not like 'oh shit two months in i realized i'm incredibly in #love with my spouse!' but 'yeah yknow what i like you here. stay'#good afternoon everyone enjoy this meandering and probably incorrect analysis of a relationship between two kpop lads #shrimp thoughts

deeply funny to me to encounter an issue where my friend's computer ran my shitty rpg maker 2003 fnaf fangame Too Well at 120 whole frames per second which made all the enemies go way too fast and kill you near instantly

i ran around in the desert getting assaulted by phantoms while she rambled about the shitty changes made to the birkins' story and personality in the remake of re2

"leon is ugly" "oh my god i was going to say that too! leon is ugly!"

a lot of other stupid resident evil discussion because we're insane

i had a mental breakdown about chickens. because a creeper snuck up to the edge of the chicken enclosure while i was facing away from it and blew up the fence. and then chickens got everywhere. and i had to scramble to put blocks up in the way but THE CHICKENS KEPT STANDING WHERE I WANTED TO PUT BLOCKS. so way too many escaped. and then i murdered all of the adult chickens left in the enclosure while ranting and raving like a lunatic and then ran into the forest to hunt down the ones that escaped. and then i made signs on pretty pink cherry wood about how much i hate the stupid chickens and also the creeper that started the debacle
